NIGERIA TO WITNESS A REVOLUTION SOON

NIGERIA TO WITNESS A REVOLUTION SOON
By OSCAR ONYEANI UMAH
(For Family Writers)

A renowned activist a hero and the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra and the director of Radio Biafra Dr.Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Lagos in his Hotel room shortly after he arrived from London based home by the men of DSS for many days now without any charge against him or been told the offence he committed that warrant his unlawful arrest, this arrest has come in awake of many agitation from the people of Biafra mounting pressure on the Nigerian government for the peaceful secession from Nigeria after 100yrs of marginalization in terms of infrastructural development and political participation and policy making over the decades it could be recall that the present government of Mohammed Buhari was the worst of it all where no Biafra was found in his cabinet nor as a minister of state which means that the Biafra has total been erased from the realm of Government.

The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) countrywide stage demonstration platforms across the country to mark the dark days against the unlawful detention of their Leader but this demonstrations has witness a lots of police brutality from the government which contravenes their fundamental human rights to freedom of expression, his arrest has triggered fallout with the police firing on peaceful protestors both men and women fired at with live bullet which resulted in scores of injury including several women been injured. Following this, and any false cases filed against unnamed persons by the Nigerian police force as instruction from the power that be will be resisted

For seven days now since their Leader was arrested no news has been heard of him and we are calling on the Nigerian Authority to released Dr Nnamdi Kanu because what they are seeing is just a mare demonstration which will soon turn into what they cannot contained with if he is not released, also the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu has been condemned by well-meaning Biafrans both home and abroad and tagged it to be politically motivated and is aimed at crushing the peaceful and democratic struggle against the actualization of Biafra and all effort made to grant him bail has been refused by the Nigerian government but to our utmost disbelieve is how the Nigerian newspapers or media especially Vanguard and Punch are carrying such sensitive issue in a falsely manner that the Leader and Director has been released from detention all to please their pay master and fail to remember that power will not remain were it is now and that power will definitely change but that is not our case because it’s either Biafra or death.“We hope this public outcry will persuade the Nigeria authorities to comply and release our Leader held incommunicado in Abuja.

We are sending this clear message to Nigeria government that infringement of fundamental rights to liberty and freedom are not acceptable.” And will never be accepted and we are monitoring the DSS and it environment through our tiger eye and any attempt to kill Nnamdi Kanu will result in the total massacre of all Biafrans. The IPOB calls upon the Government of zoo to immediately release Dr Nnamdi Kanu whose arrested since last week by the men of DSS which sparked the huge protest across the nation and to withdraw all false cases against the activists involved if there is any, The IPOB is calling on Amnesty International to extend a call on the Nigeria(zoo) authorities to respect the rule of law, uphold due process rights guaranteed in the zoo Constitution, and comply with its obligations under regional and international human rights standards.

LONG LIVE BIAFRA

LONG LIVE DR. NNAMDI KANU

  5. Envoy or whatever you called yourself, in the pre and post 1966 era, the south east and south south (Biafra land) have suffered massacre and genocide in the hands of Nigeria. This is 2015; Nigeria will never remain the same after the second Biafran war if they push us into it. Nigeria should allow Biafrans go on their own peacefully!
