AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL AND BIAFRA HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS

The unwarranted arrest, detention and controversial trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu since October 2015 has lead to massive demonstrations in Europe, Asia, America and the Carribean. In Biafra land, Buhari has ordered for full military action against peaceful protesters. He has been controlling the judiciary, deliberately violating court orders for Kanu's unconditional release. He has even advocated for secret trial and arranged for masquerades to witness against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in court. Buhari has bribed justice john Tsoho a verified APC stooge to deny Kanu bail on flimsy excuse of dual citizenship.

Armnesty international in their recent update on human rights violations in Islamic republic of Nigeria observed serious state and military brutality on indigenous people of Biafra. It's no secret that Buhari and his boko haram militia in the police and army uniform are using excessive force on Biafrans peacefully protesting the unlawful detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and restoration of Biafra.  There are many documented evidence of police and army massacre of Biafrans across Biafra land, In market places, schools, hospitals, dwelling places coupled with gory pictures of those left with permanent injuries. The Onitsha midnight killing cry, the Asaba massacre,Awka,Enugu sudden disappearance of IPOB families on protest, in yenegoa, owerri assassination, the Port Harcourt imprisonment of over 20 indigenous people of Biafra.

The Obigbo police rampage and killings, and above all the 9th February, 2015 invasion of Biafra prayer ground in Aba by 144 battalion Nigerian Army that saw the massacre of over 22 innocent Biafrans, It worthy of note that those abducted same day was brutally murdered, spread acidic substances and buried in a shallow grave . In the words of LUCY FREEMAN,senior research adviser at Armnesty international" what is happening in SouthEastern Nigeria is not a conflict situation and the law enforcement model that has been used is not appropriate.

It is not appropriate to use lethal force on peaceful protesters even in case of a violent protest" The protest embarked upon by indigenous people of Biafra since November 6,2015 has been extremely peaceful and has never been contaminated with violence even in the face of military provocation, killings, arrests, torture and incarceration. The confirmation by Amnesty international to carry out independent investigation on the violation of rights of mazi Nnamdi Kanu and indigenous people of Biafra in Nigeria is quite commendable because of military cover up and press under reportage
