BIAFRA: We Can Separate Peacefully Without Resulting to Violence--Abdulrahman Alfa

BIAFRA: We can separate peacefully without resulting to violence----Abdulrahman Alfa

For so many reasons. I want to be invited for any peaceful protest in Northern Nigeria for the realization of Biafra. I will join. Some of the reasons why I am in support of the Creation of the long awaited, well deserved Republic of Biafra include:

(i). The people concerned want the Republic of Biafra (why should they be deprived of their God-given rights to self determination!?) and why should anybody be forced against his individual, collective or group interests to be part of Nigeria that they did not believe in!?

(ii). Nigeria is what it is today by virtue of its current composition – land, human and material resources, but if any component part feels other wise its agitation for self determination MUST NOT be scuttled or muffled.

(iii). Members of the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly from the regions that want to break away should raise a motion for a peaceful process of breaking away. We don’t need to shed any more blood or resort to violence on this. We can prove the world and doubting Thomases wrong by going through it peacefully;

(iv). We MUST NOT descend to violence of whatever nature, we MUST strive to make it peaceful. I repeat: We MUST NOT descend into violence of whatever nature, we MUST strive to make it peaceful.

(v). I will be the last to ever BEG for Nigeria’s corporate existence as it is constituted today, because I know that ALL PARTS of Nigeria (NOT only Igbos or Niger Deltans) have one form of grievances or the other against the Nigerian State as presently constituted. Since we could not address those grievances the Hausa proverb worth applying here is: “idan hagu ta kiya a koma dama” which literally means: if we can’t go left, the only option left for us is turn right since we can’t afford to standstill !

(vi). I will be glad to visit my GOOD FRIENDS in Biafra, some have even become my brothers and sisters, one day on the passport of what remains of Nigeria. I am sure I will be warmly welcome in a very friendly atmosphere since the source of our current animosity (Nigeria) must have been eliminated by then.

(vii). That I remain the only authentic Muslim Northerner that is genuinely in support of Biafra and I have appointed my self the GOODWILL AMBASSADOR OF BIAFRA AT LARGE.

(viii). That there is no point being as irrational as some parts of the North have been in the past by burning places of worship and economic targets of perceived opponents. If it was bad when Northerners did it, I am sure it remains bad to date regardless of who does it; and

(ix). That the above is my PERSONAL OPINION that I am entitled to as a human being and that I seek NOT for anybody’s support or opposition to it. It is my opinion and I stand by it, period.

  1. Thank u mr alfa for ur candid opinion. I really don't know why some people wants innocent bloods to keep nigeria one? The different components of nigeria will be prosperous if they go indivually that what we hv today bc d foundation has bn wrongly laid. The idea that oil is life is what grew corruption to highest level killing other parts of d resources we hv. Very criminal elements hijacked nigerian economy since independence and people hv nothing to show for this slogan of one indivisible, giant of africa nigeria!

  3. We don't need to trust this people, they betrayed us before and they will do it again with their sweet fingerlicking lips. They are the ones that will beat the child and ask people why the child is crying

    2. When truth is been said, it has to be accepted no matter where its coming from, I am not surprise that some people who heath the truth may say that this comments of Abdulrahman Alfa is concocted, because their mind is blinded, but believe or not, it must shurly come true,

    3. He admits that he's alone for now in his position. But the fact that he has equally admitted some of the atrocities, like the burning of churches and killing of Biafrans, that had been a common occurrence in the Islamic north, shows that the rest of his Islamic folks understand that Biafrans are right to want to separate from Nigeria. Therefore, Biafrans are on the right track regardless of what some, even among the Biafrans think. Even if he's the only reasonable person from that part of Nigeria, his admission is welcome. The resolve to have Biafra does not derive from what any other part of Nigeria thinks. It's a nation it's time has come.

  4. Among one million there must be one person that can speak the truth Alfa can reason like humans you speak the truth and nothing but the truth. the reason why those evil people are singing and going against peoples voice is nothing but because of their criminal mind, their evil and wicked plan against people, they fail to see the reality but they are forcing people against their will there by creating loop hole for their selfish and greedy plan but at the end truth shall be prevail and those who said the truth shall be blesses d

  6. Lol. Political representatives of people in Biafra areas are yet to have their children, wards, or immediate family members killed by Nigeria's soldiers, so they are still enjoying their offices and the money associated to their offices in Ngeria's political process.

They can't have time to think about the extremely gloomy future of their children and grand children under one Nigeria.
If Biafra is not realized before the next general election in Nigeria, IPOB party shall sweep all of today's political representatives of people in Biafra areas out of office.

  9. If he can use his opinio and understanding to address his people especially their youth to understand what the human rights is all about, and let them support the freedom of Biafra as he did. Honestly I think that it will be very nice and his name will be written in the guineas book of record

  10. It is a thing of joy to see people say and stand by the truth. It is a respecter of no tribe or religion. For ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. For the others who still do not believe in the movement for the realisation of Biafra Nation, I think their problem is lack of self realisation, they do not know where they belong and what they stand for and may not have the courage to stand for their freedom. We can never chase them away but patiently pray for their return. The fact that all the Igbo's are not supporting this natural course does not mean that we shall not celebrate BIAFRA one Faithful God's own day. It took the voice of only one man to save the people of Neneva, just one man to break the evil chain of fero against the Israelis and so on. It can only take one ordained man of Biafra to get our freedom back from Nigeria. May the Almighty God of Biafra protect and guide Mazi Kanu and others. Long live Biafra.
