NIGERIA DSS CHASING RAT WHILE THEIR HOUSE IS ON FIRE

NIGERIA DSS CHASING RAT WHILE THEIR HOUSE IS ON FIRE

It was a severe shock to me reading from various Nigeria media outlets the headline saying-"DSS ACCUSE BIAFRA ACTIVISTS OF KILLING FULANI HERDSMEN IN ABIA STATE." I decided to have a wider view at the frivolous allegation to ascertain its veracity but to my greatest surprise, I found out that the noise pollution was actually from an empty shell. I had expected the so called Nigeria Department of State Security (DSS) to have provided the names and pictures of the 50 dead bodies they claimed they found in the burrow pit instead of singling out the names of the only five (5) Fulani herdsmen in the alleged pit they saw or are they trying to tell us that the 45 other dead bodies are not Nigerians. Are they trying to tell us that the life of a Fulani terrorist is more important than the life of the other 45 Nigerians?

I also expected the DSS to provide evidence that it was actually IPOB that attacked the herdsmen but at the end of the day I was left disappointed as they couldn't even provide a single IPOB member that carried out the attack. At least it is expected that before an Intelligence agency like DSS could come out to the press to make such a magnanimous allegation that could spring up a bloody inter-ethnic violence across the country, such an allegation should come up with veritable evidence. It is not only a matter jumping out to the press to utter a nonsensical garbage that IPOB are the culprits in a crime that you are still investigating even to the extent of making the assertion that IPOB are now showcasing their terrorist attributes. This is grossly a statement of witch-hunt and an unprecedented act of immaturity and unprofessionalism.

Ever since Boko Haram has been rampaging the country with terrorism activities, I’m yet to hear that DSS have foiled or prevented their planned attacks. Isn't it an irony that Boko Haram have one of their most dangerous strongholds in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria?

Even the natives in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria are accusing the DSS of ignoring them whenever they notify the DSS of the presence of Boko Haram around their territory which would later lead to severe loss of lives. It is this same DSS that will come out to the press to accuse the Indigenous People Of Biafra that has been operating peacefully in almost every country of the world of carrying out terrorism activities in Nigeria. What a joke!

It is also on record that ever since Fulani militants started genocide against Biafrans and the communities in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria, the Dss has never arrested any of the Fulani herdsmen perpetrating this dastardly act neither have they quickly released the names of victims of the massacres as they've done in the case of the Fulani herdsmen they are alleging without evidence were murdered by Biafrans.

Kidnapping which has become a tradition in Nigeria has never met any serious revolt by Nigeria DSS and security operatives; instead they are the ones kidnapping those who speak against the atrocities of Nigerian government just as they kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu and could have murdered him had IPOB not raised a timely serious outcry.

This same DSS has turned themselves as puppet of Buhari's government whom he used to oppress his opposition politicians and incarcerate them unlawfully. Just recently they abducted a state lawmaker and held him extra-judicially for several weeks after which they dumped him in a hospital and ran away after discovering that the man is almost at the point of death.

Having seen all these, it is crystal clear that Nigerian DSS and other security agencies joined together perpetrate more terrorism activities than Boko Haram while IPOB are the ones exposing them to the world. Nigerian DSS should know that while they point a stunt finger at IPOB, the other four fingers are profusely pointing at them. I would personally advice the Nigerian DSS to stop chasing rats while its house is on fire because they may end up not catching the rat and lose their house as well.

  1. How I wish the Nigerian leaders would sit down and think for a second, they would truthfully realise that all these things happening are indications that Nigeria has hit a brick wall and is on the verge of disintegration. The more they forcefully try to hold it together, the longer they are extending the misery of Nigeria for many decades to come and depriving Africa growth, leadership and development .Only regional autonomy of the constituent Nigeria would engender healthy competion and growth but as long as the leadership continues to exhibit myopia to this unfortunate reality Nigerians should be prepared to remain perpetually enslaved by ignorance and backwardness.

  2. I concur with Emeka 100%. I could not have said it better. The Nigeria State of Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba Oligarchy are full of foolishness, corruption, lawlessness, envy, hatred, jealousy, evil, corruption, lies, and rotten. IPOB and all Biafra organizations and movements agitating for Biafra republic must unite now and work together to free themselves from the Islamic State of backwardness and incivility. Enough is enough.
