The Rhetoric of Tagging IPOB a Terrorist Group and Pampering Fulani Herdsmen

The Rhetoric of Tagging IPOB a Terrorist Group and Pampering Fulani Herdsmen

The activities of Fulani herdsmen have been a thorn on the flesh of Many Nigerians especially those in the middle-belt and Biafra land. Since the inception of Buhari as President of Nigeria, the terrorism of these herdsmen has increased tremendously as the incessant abductions, killings, raping of women and destruction of farmland has become the order of the day.

It pains me heavily when I read on newspapers and watch on television the people these militants have massacred and the wreckage they cause across the country. For example, the Agatu massacre in which hundreds of innocent farmers and workers were killed. They were sleeping at night before the Fulani terrorists invaded their community and killed as many as they could and razed down hundreds of houses in the process.

The Nigerian security forces especially the DSS has never condemned these atrocities neither have they apprehended the Fulani herders perpetrating this dreadful atrocities.

What most Nigerians have perceived as motive behind the continued existence of DSS is for them to be used by Buhari as tools to witch-hunt his perceived political enemies and opposition. A perfect example can be seen in the disposition of DSS on Nnamdi Kanu's travail and their attempt of tagging IPOB a terrorist group by linking it to the alleged killing Fulani herdsmen in Abia State. It is certain to everyone in Nigeria that DSS are just witch hunting IPOB using this allegation in order to find flimsy reasons to jail Nnamdi Kanu whom they've incarcerated for a long time now.

I'm using this opportunity to alert the world and all lovers of freedom to ignore Nigerian government desperation to tag IPOB a terrorist group as the real terrorists are their DSS and their secret army who disguise as Fulani herdsmen.
