There are terrible incidents that can happen to a man in his life time and he will overlook it and face the needless not knowing that such incidents, will after a long time come with endless trauma as its aftermath. And physiologically, you will have to believe with me that it is the worst trauma any man will never want to experience because it will live with such a man until the day he dies.
There is an Igbo saying “Afam-efuna” which is a prayer for a continuous generation. It is commonly believed globally that you can only achieve such by begetting offspring and them as well after you. Begetting the children is one thing, working towards achieving a conducive environment for their survival is another thing completely. Talking about a conducive environment for their survival includes manly security among others. What is about their security? It is about creating a pavement via which the safety of their lives and properties is guaranteed and only on such a platform can they be able to excel as they carry your name along till eternity. Such a platform for the Biafran Fathers is the restoration of Biafra at all cost. But in a situation where they are losing their base at your watch, that is the begging and the end of your generation even in your very presence.
If you are confused or wondering about what happened in Enugu , this is the timeline as Ariaku Emeh Iroh's wall provides it: 1. Governor Ugwuanyi gets information that Uzouwani will be attacked as some herdsmen from Nassarawa are converging near the community. 2. "There was a call made by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to the president, he was put on hold for over an hour 15 minutes. 3. This call was made in the presence of 13 men and 4 women, the president aid (aide)told the Governor that the president will get back to him. 4.The president through his aid(aide) after 4 hrs told Enugu state governor that the president will do something about it. 5. "...Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on hearing that the police have not arrived at Uzouwani called GOC 82 division for help. He was referred to the presidency again. 6. This time around, he was put on hold for nearly 2 hrs again, while waiting to speak to the president. News came in that the attack he was planning to prevent has actually taken place. 7. Within an hour, the commissioner and GOC who refereed the Governor to the president has mobilised their men to stop retaliation. The same way Lagos and Agatu was attacked and retaliation prevented. We need to know why police commissioner and GOC need presidency order before they can protect the innocent citizens?. We need to know - why police and military sent their men to Uzouwani after the attack to prevent retaliation. We need to know why a sitting Governor cannot use the support of police and military to protect his people.
Considering this proven fact, what are the Biafran Elites playing at or is this about fear. The more the invasion and killing of their children by the security forces and Fulani herds men with impunity, the more speechless they are becoming. When an attacker attacks twice and no serious reprisal was carried out be it physically or legally, the said attacker will return stronger to decimate completely the remaining inhabitant of such a community. If precaution isn’t taken the earlier, Biafra land will be history and her languages will become a mockery that will wither away in a short while. Her sons and daughters will be forced to answer a strange name and her tradition will become the tales of some ancient fools. This is a warning to all Biafrans across the globe.
