BUHARI RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR WOES: OIL COMPANIES MUST TAKE DECISIVE ACTION AGAINST BUHARI

BUHARI RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR WOES: OIL COMPANIES MUST TAKE DECISIVE ACTION AGAINST BUHARI

Last year up till the moment Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, the prayer of Biafrans has been ‘let oil price fall to 1 dollar’. Today the prayer is let oil export or production come to ‘zero’. Things changed so quickly and the response of men tends to be quick as well. We have forgotten the business, what and what that is needed to be done. Oil companies don’t need war, if war comes, it would be bloody, human casualties of which oil workers will be victims. There is a way to solve this and bring an end to this economical horror. You have to sit down and go back to drawing board where it went wrong before it goes beyond facility destruction.

The questions are, why are freedom fighters bombing everything? Why such intense anger and what is the solution? Then how can one go about solving this problem and action is applied finally? You are conscious of the state of Nigeria, I need not tell you that what the fighters you call militants are doing can simply be defined as anarchy. When a man considers himself above the law, men that know the business will also play above the law. The animalistic nature of man is unleashed without law and that is the situation on ground. No amount of amnesty, lobbying and bribery can stop the hostility except justice.

On the list ‘of demand’ made by all the fighters you call militants, one and major demand is ‘release Nnamdi Kanu’ and everything will stop. Nnamdi Kanu is a prisoner of conscience who was arrested for only saying what he wants; he has not even taken any action but was arrested and incarcerated. Upon this, three competent courts of jurisdiction ordered for his release, Buhari flouted court orders and said in his media chat that he won’t release Nnamdi Kanu. He feels the world is his own and we are handicapped, who ever knew it would come to this.

Buhari is responsible for your woes but you helped your woes, injustice you played blind to is coming to you ten folds. There is yet a way out of this and such way is to correct the injustice. Demand and mount pressure that Nnamdi Kanu be released. Buhari is going down with his pride and he would go down with you all. There is nothing to lose that he released a prisoner of conscience but due to his hatred for Biafrans, he would linger.

There would definitely be ‘zero’ production and exportation, you all will eventually shut down and nothing can help you or stop freedom fighters you call militants. Buhari is not capable of fighting or protecting your facilities and you would not risk more for something with a simple solution. If you continue running your companies without shutting down, it would be seen as affront to what we stand for. In no distant time, I promise you, human casualties will take over this fight and none of you will be spared.

Shutting down now there is a way and demanding for solution is the best approach, which is the only action you can take against Buhari. If the fighters you call militants are complaining of injustice, ‘we oil companies will shut down until you address the injustice’. I am of the view that we can peacefully solve our problems just as Nnamdi built a radio station instead of building an army. Though the radio has made soldiers, they are soldiers in search of justice and not war. But if war shall bring justice, let it be so that we may live without grudges.
