The fact that human rights abuse has gone from bad to worse in Nigeria ever since the former military dictator, Muhammadu Buhari became President is no longer a hidden feature. Nigerian security agencies now clamp down on innocent civilians, especially Biafrans with impunity just in their bid to please Buhari.

According to the latest report from the intelligence department of Family Writers, it has been confirmed that the Nigerian military have gone on rampage against some notable Biafran activists across the country. So many families have reported their missing loved ones, while those who have been able to escape are found to be brutally injured due to excessive torture and were left almost at the point of death.

"About five people have gone missing in Aba. They were abducted by heavily armed men on military uniform two days ago in the midnight and every attempt to discover their whereabouts has failed" Mr. Nwankwo, an Intelligence Officer in Aba Abia state told Family Writers.

According to Nwankwo, when they contacted some military personnels at Abia state Army Barracks, they denied being in possession of any of the activists.

"There is a possibility that they must have been killed and buried in mass graves. This is not the first time Buhari is unleashing his assassination team on some hardcore Biafrans here.

"For how long will the international community watch in silence over these horrible things being meted out on Biafrans by the Nigerian government? There is every need for them to condemn this dastardly acts now that it is not yet too late." he said.  Meanwhile, a Family Writers journalist who was also abducted recently has been found, he is currently undergoing treatment on his severely brutalised body.  Full details of his ordeal shall be made available as soon as possible.
