NIGERIA GOVERNMENT SPONSORED MILITANTS ESTABLISHES RADIO STATION

NIGERIA GOVERNMENT SPONSORED MILITANTS ESTABLISH RADIO STATION, AS DSS BETRAYS SLEEPER AGENTS SENT AGAINST THE AVENGERS

By Chima Onyekachi

For Family Writers.

I believe it is the resilience and resoluteness of Radio Biafra that has given rise to the establishment of a radio station for militants by the government of Nigeria lead by President Muhammadu Buhari. A recent news report has reported the establishment of Radio Niger Delta Voice of Peace in New York. Though I have tried to get signals from the purported radio to no avail, but it was reported that the radio started transmission last Friday morning on 9515KHZ on 31-meter band from 6am-7am Nigerian time and was received clearly in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Brass, Warri, Yenagoa, Sokoto, Niamey and Abidjan. The news report also stated that the radio broadcast will include night transmission from 8pm-9pm on 11985KHZ 25-meter band. The maiden broadcast has declared total support for dialogue and extends its hand of fellowship to President Muhammadu Buhari. It also expressed its appreciation and readiness to continue working with National Security Adviser General Babagana Monguno.

It is quite laughable that after several efforts by the Nigeria government to disrupt the transmission of Radio Biafra but failed, it has moved to counter the message been disseminated through the radio station by setting up a counter radio station. The message from the government sponsored radio station is bound to fail because Biafrans in the creeks are better enlightened and knowledgeable to the deception of the government to their plights. Why setup a Radio station to speak to the people while at the same time you have stopped ongoing works at the new maritime university in Ijaw land?  The Nigerian government is being assisted by some ignorant so called Niger Delta politicians like Rotimi Amaeachi, Timipre Sylva, Adams Oshiomole and Chief Ayiri. These myopic and self-centered politicians are only concerned about their ambition and pockets while the federal government is spending substantial amount of money in rebuilding the Boko Haram ravaged North East. The lands which is been ravaged by oil exploitation is left to continue to deteriorate and the indigenes left to suffer. With the financial disposal of the government, I will be expecting to see more of the government money wasted in this project, just as it was wasted in the purchase of Satlink satellite communication while it was playing host to Radio Biafra.

Meanwhile, the Avengers have exposed the lies of DSS that it has arrested two alleged members of the Avengers. The DSS has earlier announced the arrest of two suspects, Mr Christian Oluba alias Silas, and Selky Kile Torughedi, claiming they were members of the Avengers when in actual facts they were sleeper agents of the DSS sent after the Avengers. The truth of the matter is that the spies employed by the DSS had demanded for their payment as promised them but the DSS seeing its failure in tracking the avengers decided to betray the spies and have them arrested. The Avengers have no connection with the arrested spies and have demanded that DSS allow the suspects to speak to the press to prove their authenticity. It is well known that the DSS have infiltrated Biafraland in search of the Avengers and members of IPOB. This is also a lesson to other sleeper agents being used against the struggle for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra that their efforts will surely be in vain. President Muhammadu Buhari must drop his hubris and conduct a referendum like a sane and right thinking human being instead of wasting resources to engage in a battle he will lose at the end.
