THE ARROGANCE OF THE NORTH IS BASED ON 'TERRORISM'

After reading through an article written by Chief Obafemi Awolowo titled "DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR",where he insisted that "THE ARROGANCE OF THE NORTHERN NIGERIA IS BASELESS", I had to make further research and in conclusion decided to state that, their arrogance have a base which is TERRORISM and in turn terrorism is tantamount to Islam. I would argue with Chief Obafemi Awolowo if he were to be alive, though I agree with him that the Northern Nigerians are not as educated and industrious as the Southerners. If he had stopped at letting the World know how they passionately dislike western education, then I will key into that, but ruling off the basis of their arrogance I totally don't accept.
Northern Nigerians have the basis of their Political structure, which is derived from terrorism and terrorism is supported by the Quar'an. The Islamic religion practiced by the North, is antecedent to Nigeria amalgamation. They don't need formal education, to terrorise Biafrans, their Arabic Schools is capable of putting them through Islamic principles. Islam is theocracy and terrorist religion, used to achieve its mission of World domination. Northern Nigerians are devout Muslims simply following the dictates of their Quar'an.
The Quaran commanded the Muslims to terrorise Non-Muslims. To back my point, let’s read through Quar'an 9:29;" FIGHT THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN ALLAH,NOR IN THE LATER DAY,NOR DO THEY PROHIBIT WHAT ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER HAVE PROHIBITED,NOR FOLLOW THE RELIGION OF TRUTH OUT OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE BOOK,'UNTILL THEY PAY THE TAX IN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF SUPERIORITY AND THEY ARE IN A STATE OF SUBJECTION". IBN ISHAQ: 327 "Allah said, A PROPHET MUST SLAUGHTER BEFORE COLLECTING CAPTIVES. A SLAUGHTERED ENEMY IS DRIVEN FROM THE LAND. MUHAMMAD, YOU CRAVED THE DESIRES OF THE WORLD, ITS GOODS AND THE RANSOM CAPTIVES WOULD BRING. BUT ALLAH DESIRES KILLING THEM TO MANIFEST THE RELIGION".
Not being too educated, but having so much passion for Power they employed Islamic principles and ideologies. They are using the force of Terrorism to arrogate false political accolades that is why they tend to be the most vocal section of Nigeria. The arrogance of the North is totally derived from Islam. When I read through a Paper presented at the 'National Conference On the 1999 Constitution’, by the current Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi Sanusi he pointed "Sharia and Religious Intolerance in the North”, as one of the tools they use to create civil unrest and secure power in Nigeria. He went further to state that; the distinct groups brought together to form a new entity called Nigeria, have total heterogeneous identities and a historical process brought them together. It is very paramount, to state that the Anti-Congenial historical "PROCESS" which brought the totally different and delineated entities together, was concocted by the North and Britain. One would ask how the amalgamation was also concocted by the North. To defend that, an argument before the amalgamation was extended by Yusuf Bala Usman,who drew on the works of Ade Ajayi,Alagoa and Anene demanding there is need for an amalgamation to create a Nigeria, this inspired Britain who as well have selfish interest to create the artificial country.
When Britain came into Africa and before the concocted amalgamation, they interacted with the heterogeneous Nations Biafrans and Arewas who have different identities, cultures and believes, made their findings and drew their conclusions on how to exploit and carry out an erosion of their histories and bring about total submersion of their heterogeneous identities, with the target of the natural resources. They sighted the intelligence of the owners of the natural resources and devised a means of acclaiming it to themselves, by forming the Northern and Southern Protectorate. Now, this division techniques was the First Divide and Rule tactics which is Anti-Congenial to the South, introduced by Britain to Northerners, which is tantamount to the further creation of Zones in Nigeria by the Northern Politicians.
Britain saw the hatred the North had for Western Education, sighted their arrogance and Islamic religion and took advantage of it. They as well digged out the pathway of the South and realised that their ancestors believed in "TRUTH IS LIFE"(EZIOKWU BU NDU),thus will be easily convinced into Christianity and by so doing, will not carry out their treacherous and nefarious acts. They had to make the North despise formal education passionately and blindfolded them over its benefits, in other to be in control of their psyche and reasoning. They succeeded because upon till today, Britain controls the mindset of the North. Frederick Lugard did not encourage Christian Missionaries settling in the North because he needed the help of the EMIRS to rule indirectly.
Britain needed to maintain a system of indirect rule and sought to continue influencing the affairs of Nigeria. With the Selfish interest of Britain, they consolidated Power to the Northern Protectorate. The North has intense passion for Power and with the aid of Britain they denied the Southerners from their Political Independence. The Power center and a very strong regional capital was also given to the North by Britain. In the words of Usman dan Fodio "The New Nation called Nigeria should be an Estate from our Great Grandfather. We must RUTHLESSLY prevent a change of Power. We must use the minorities in the North as our willing tools and the South as conquered territories and never allow them to have control of their future". The Northern Protectorate keyed into his views and never diverged from it. Nigeria had ethnic riots that started in the 1940's but things took a turn for the worst in the 1980's when Religious Intolerance with maitatsine took the main stage.
And upon till today, various Islamic religious disturbances securing their political positions have claimed a lot of Lives. Some of the religious disturbances include; JIMENTA-Y OLA(1984), ZANGO KATAF CRISES(1991),BEHEADING OF GIDEON AKALUKA(1995 MASTERMINDED BY SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI), SHARIA RIOTS(2000), DANISH CARTOON RIOTS(2006),SHAGAMU RIOT(1999). Recently the KANO BEHEADING OF MRS BRIDGET AGBAHEME(4 JUNE2016) and THE KILLING OF PASTOR MRS EUNICE IN ABUJA FOR PREACHING(10 JULY 2016). The Islamic Sect Bokoharam has currently taken the main stage of the religious disturbances in Nigeria. Several Non-Muslims have lost their Lives, through hacking,beheading,bomblast and other evil means employed, to subdue others into a state of subjection and then fulfilling the desires of Allah in IBN ISHAQ: 327,to manifest the Islamic religion. On that note, ruling out the basis of the arrogance of the North, is a conundrum and totally unacceptable, thus the Nigeria Northerners are following the dictates of the Quar'an through terrorism.
