BIAFRANS WAKE UP IDEAL

BIAFRANS WAKE UP IDEAL

I have never been an advocate of brutal force and barbaric acts. I still maintain that brutal power/force doesn't negotiate, renegotiate or hearken to logic neither does it succumbs to superior FORCE!  At all times my opinion has been "I will sacrifice anything other than my respect for peace". In other words, I am a peace loving man who would rather die FREE than live in BONDAGE.

I am tired of my learned calmness even in the presence of deliberate extreme provocations. For crying out loud I now have my back to the wall, it's only natural that I fight back. The aforementioned paragraph is regrettably written because of the way the south easterners are being treated in Nigeria by people of "born to rule mentality". The cruel parasitic north contributes absolutely nothing to the progress of this country yet they will not allow the other progressive clime to thrive in peace. They kill, maim and destroy our lives and property in their land and at same time lay down harsh conditions for business to Biafrans. Coincidentally, they always have their way due to the fact that their brother must be in power. Their jealousy and hatred are not hidden. Their born to rule mentality which they believed was ordained by Allah make them act as superior to all, yet they the same beggars we see in every nooks and crannies of the country.

In spite of all these, we remain ahead of them both academically and otherwise. Biafrans suffered beyond measures, from the war in which there was genocide committed on us, to the 20 pounds financial slavery after the war, irrespective of how much you had in the bank. As if that was not enough, indigenization policy set in thereby cutting the Igbo Biafrans off in every sector. There were cruel lopsided States, Local Government Areas and Federal constituencies creation. We were abused in a very cruel manner yet we never deterred. Today, we break boundaries, set new records in all walks of life. The world celebrates us.

The born to rule are confronted with poverty, diseases, illiteracy, pedophilia and terrorism on a daily basis. The famous CHIBOK GIRLS are still missing but the Nigerian Air Force engaged in an aerial surveillance and  rescued hundreds of cattle from rustlers. The time spent hunting for those cattle should have been used to hunt for the girls. Despite all the maltreatment, ranging from killing for not joining in their Ramadan fast, to all sorts of terrorising techniques, we remained resolute and refused to cow into their oppression.  We always have it at the back of our minds that THE POWER OF THE OPPRESSOR LIES IN THE MIND OF THE OPPRESSED.  Lastly I salute the decisive courage of AKOKWA youths who paid the oppressor back in his own coin. "Enweghi m ike ino n'ulo m n'pia mkpuru amu m" was exactly the feedback given to the oppressor in Akokwa.

  1. A great piece Nnamdi and Ngozi and excellent eye-opening and wake-up call for Biafra slumbers. I cannot imagine why some Biafrans are so dump, ignorant and selfish because of their petty businesses in the north and SW that'll cause them to continue to live in bondage and slavery in Islamic Nigeria with Hausa/Fulani jihadists who prefer to preserve the life of cattle and cows more than the life of infidels like Biafrans. May God of creation wake-up these Biafrans from their greedy, selfish and self-centered mentality?
