FREE NNAMDI KANU: Canadian IPOB Family handing over letter to Amnesty International

Canadian IPOB family handing  over  letter to Amnesty International

We converged at the venue at about 11.45 am with the Theme: Unconditional Release of Nnamdi Kanu by the Government of Nigeria from his unlawful incarceration. We had a rousing turnout in spite of the unholy rain. We use the opportunity to pass our Message to the Canadian Government through the Amnesty International and where they should also communicate with the United Nations with our demands.

While on our part. The IPOB family made our intention known to the Amnesty International in a speech that lasted over 10 Minutes and also submitted our letter from the National Body to them. The 2 of their representatives that came to receive us later addressed us after listening to us and collecting our letter, handed us a note telling us that they are already aware of the inhuman killings going on in Nigeria through the Nigerian Army and told us that they are not folding their hands and encourage us that we should also liaise with other Organization apart from Amnesty International that can champion our course with one voice as Amnesty International. They advise that we should not relent until the whole world and the United Nations listens to our cry.

At this note, I want to say here that our outing yesterday was a welcome development.

We have not had it this way in Canada before now.
