THOSE CALLING NNAMDI KANU AN "IGBO LEADER" ARE LOOKING FOR THE TROUBLE OF BIAFRANS

Anybody who is following up the activities of Nnamdi Kanu prior to his abduction by Nigerian security agents won't be a novice to the fact that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra abhors being associated with the name- "Igbo".
Nnamdi Kanu clearly stated the fact when he asserted that the word "Igbo" has long been defiled and polluted by those who see themselves as the stake-holders of the Igbo tribe of Biafra land, otherwise known as the self-inaugurated 'Ohaneze Ndi Igbo', or 'Council of Elders', as well as the resurgence of fraudsters who hide under the guise of Biafra agitation to commit heinous crimes.
While the sabotage from some of our brothers in the Riverine areas of Biafra during the tragic genocidal war orchestrated by Dictator Yakubu Gowon, remains an indelible aspect of Biafra antecedents, it is however indisputable that Igbo land has bred more influential saboteurs to the Biafran struggle more than any other tribe; ranging from the infamous Emmanuel Arinze Ifeajuna, Phillip Alale and Sam Agbam, who conspiratorially sold out their brethren to gain prominence from the genocidal Gowon led Nigerian government; down to the new generation of saboteurs led by Raph Uwazurike, an unstable leader whose hypocrisy and criminal mindedness paved way for the rise of Nnamdi Kanu as the new face of the Biafra restoration project. Whether or not the lukewarmness of the prominent Nnamdi Azikiwe(ZIK), who led Biafrans to the middle of the sea and abandoned them with a heap of salt on their head, should be overlooked is a debate for another day.
Having seen all these, one cannot but concur with Nnamdi Kanu that a Biafra solely rooted as an Igbo cause is heading for a giant rock. Therefore, any person or group that tries to portray the Biafra restoration project as an "Igbo thing" is either out of touch with reality, or such a person is an agent of the divide and rule antics of the Nigerian government; a ploy which proved potent in quenching the Ojukwu led Biafra, that lasted for only three years.
In the same vein, any person or group of persons referring to Nnamdi Kanu as an 'Igbo leader' is(are) definitely on the verge of entertaining the rage of millions of Biafrans who hails from multiple ethnic groups that is not Igbo, but which jointly constitutes the organic Biafra land.
'Indigenous People of Biafra' is not any way exclusive to the Igbo descendants. Truth be told, most ethnic nationalities in Biafra such as Ijaw, Itsekiri, Urhobo, Igbanke, Izon, and others are even more Biafran than the Igbos; the ever resolute Ijaw born activist, Asari Dokubo laid credence to this fact when he unequivocally stated that the people of Ijaw has a greater historical superiority as Biafrans more than the Igbos.
Nnamdi Kanu definitely has the key for Biafra restoration. He has not only acknowledged the divide and rule antics of the Nigerian government and media henchmen, which they inherited from the British imperialists that colonised, amalgamated and created Nigeria, is what has continuously hindered Biafra restoration; he has also exposed and destroyed the evil spell of division that had been enchanted among Biafrans.
Today, IPOB Coordinators and members that are not of Igbo extraction are definitely outnumbering their Igbo counterparts. Little did it surprise me when I discovered that my IPOB zonal Coordinator hails from the present day Cross River state, also an indisputable non-Igbo part of Biafra land, neither was I shocked when the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers made the release of Nnamdi Kanu as one of their key demands to the Nigerian government.
Although, the brave Femi Fani Kayode of Oduduwa land, might have unknowingly fallen a victim on the wrong side, by addressing Nnamdi Kanu as an Igbo leader, it is worthy to acknowledge that by his outstanding metaphor of referring to the IPOB leader as a combination of Ojukwu, Zik and Nzeogwu, he is indirectly asserting that during his few hours with Nnamdi Kanu, he saw in him somebody whose destiny of greatness goes beyond the enclave of Igbo land. I admonish and expect that Femi Kayode corrects the odd impression he created among Biafrans, especially non-Igbo Biafrans, when he referred to Nnamdi Kanu as an "Igbo leader", as that alone casts a long shadow over his good intentions towards Nnamdi Kanu and Biafrans in general.
Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra. It is definitely an understatement and an aspersion to non-Igbo Biafrans to address Nnamdi Kanu as an "Igbo leader".

Femi Fani-Kayode needs to wash himself off the last vestige of divide and rule that Nigeria instituted in Biafraland if he is to be taken serious by God and men of goodwill. He says ND/SS and Igbo while at the same time suggesting that C Nzeogwu of the so called SS/ND was one of the Igbos imbedded in Nnamdi Kanu. That tautology of SS and Igbo makes no sense.
