AFTER MY NINE MONTHS DSS TORTURE,I BECAME MORE BIAFRAN THAN EVER- IPOB COORDINATOR

Daniel Chukwu is an IPOB Zonal coordinator in Akpajo Rivers State who was unlawfully arrested on the 6th of November 2015 during the *"IPOB One Million March"* by the Nigeria Department of State Security(DSS) for protesting towards the release of Ipob Leader Citizen Nnamdi Kanu with a Biafran flag and was kept incommunicado for over 5months.
Ibeh Gift Amarachi of Family Writers got him interviewed after his nine months unlawful detention and he has this disheartening, inhumane and heartbreaking story to tell. Hear him:

"I am Daniel Chukwu and the Zonal coordinator of Akpajo.
I was arrested with a Biafra Flag on the 6th of November 2015 during the "IPOB One Million March" in Bayelsa State, while demanding for the release of the Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra Citizen Nnamdi Kanu. I was brutally beaten up and molested before taken to Bayelsa DSS command where I was detained till 12th of February and was transferred to DSS Abuja Headquarters.
I was conveyed to Abuja by a Hilux Van, with Two Arm guards, one who handed me over from Bayelsa DSS cell and the Driver. I was mercilessly beaten to pulp by the DSS personnels.

When I got transferred to DSS Headquarters in Abuja,I was forced into a Cell which is 15 by 20sq and over 20 persons where forced in there. Water from a close by Air condition was dropping in our cell and cold almost killed me. I was starved, fed like a Dog whenever they felt like feeding me and one of the Hausa speaking DSS personnels struck me with a weighty stick, beat me to pulp and said he will kill me, for supporting the Biafran struggle.

*Nobody knew my way about while in DSS custody until a friend I made in DSS custody from Benue,who when he was about being transferred to Kuje Prisons, I demanded he pass my plight to IPOB Leadership and gave him my wife's number as well*
IPOB contacted my wife and employed a Lawyer Barrister Chioma who took up my case.
*DSS refused appearing in court after three court sittings and on the fourth sitting they were ordered to arraign me in court by the presiding judge, but they  disdained his orders.*

When the Judge found out I am innocent, I was granted bail in Federal High Court 3 in Abuja.
And when I was about leaving the DSS custody, they warned they will come after me and my Uncle who suretied me, if I ever get involved in the struggle for Biafra restoration and IPOB activities.

But, *AFTER MY NINE MONTHS TORTURE I BECAME MORE BIAFRAN THAN EVER. INFACT I AM MORE CHARGED AND THE BIAFRAN SPIRIT IN ME HAS BEEN IGNITED AND FLAMED UP. MY FATHER DID NOT GIVE UP DURING THE BIAFRA CIVIL WAR,SO I WONT UNTIL BIAFRA COMES UNDER OUR WATCH*
The Indigenous People Of Biafra should hearken to the undiluted gospel propagated on Radio Biafra and Biafrans round the World should massively support this struggle. I commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives and promise their deaths will not be in vain".
