FULANI MENACE IN BIAFRALAND: A REASON FOR THE EBONYI YOUTHS TO BRING BACK THE RESILIENCE THEY WERE KNOWN FOR IN YEARS AGO

The renewed Fulani herdsmen disturbances in parts of Ebonyi State in Biafraland, such as a community called Uhueke-Amaeze Amanator Isu, Onicha LGA of the state has become a reason for all Ebonyi state community's youths to bring back the resilience the youths of the area is known for throughout history. Family Writers Press eagle-eye categorically want to use what happened in the above mentioned community to warn all the youths in the communities of Ebonyi state to begin the process of mobilizing vigilante men around their villages or be ready to tell the ugly story of Ukpabi-Nimbo in Uzo-uwani in Enugu state of same Biafra land.

One of the youths of Uhueke-Amaeze, simply identified as 'Ekene' told Family Writers Press correspondent that due to one cow of the herdsmen which lost control of the herders and ran away when misunderstanding erupted between the youths and the herdsmen because of the stream which is the source of drinking water and was killed by the youths to avoid wounding one of the villagers, the leaders of the village were mandated by the Fulani herdsmen to pay ₦180, 000 for the killed cow. But nothing was paid by the villagers due to the stream of the villagers that was damage by the herdsmen and their cattle. According to the Ekene who is a villager, the leaders of the Uhueke Village paid ₦100, 000 on Wednesday 15/3/2017 and will pay remaining ₦80, 000 on Thursday being 16/3/2017 to avoid trouble with them. But the leadership and youths of the village unanimously resolved that immediately they pay the remaining money, they will give the herdsmen 48 hours to vacate their farmlands and bushes around them or be ready to face a treatment of terrorist if spotted anywhere around the community after 48 hours.

It is on this ground, I hereby advise the youths in all parts Ebonyi State to begin the process of sending the Fulani terrorist nicknamed herdsmen out of every community in Ebonyi state because you can never dwell in peace with these beasts of Nigeria. It is time for Ebonyi youths to bring back the resilience they were known with in the years of Aro-Chukwu confederacy in 18 and 19 century. Ebonyi youths are not known for cowardice because in the years of Arọchukwu confederacy, it was on record that the then youths of Ezza-Ezekuna, Ohaozara, Afikpo in present Ebonyi state and Ohafia of present Abia state contributed immensely to military might of then Arochukwu confederacy. History provided the record of the resistance of the then military of Arọchukwu confederacy against the European invading explorers before the European missionaries begin to form the questionable treaties which they established with our people.

Since the Fulani terrorists nicknamed herdsmen have become the modern day invading forces of terror like the Europeans of yester years, the youths of Ebonyi must rise up to the challenge and say "NO" to these Fulani blood-sucking beasts now. It is time for our youths in Ebonyi state to dust back their spears, arrows, jevelines, swords and not forgetting the evoking of our bees of war. I want Ezza youths to know that it is time to kill the "COW OF WAR" known in local dialect as 'Efi-ọgụ' should Fulani refuse to vacate your land because Fulanis can never live without shedding of innocent blood. In Ohaozara land, it is time to pick and blow to the air 'aja ana ọfọ' should Fulani refuse to leave our farmlands for us. If we leave Fulanis to stay in our farm lands, we must continue to clash with them from time to time because as their cows are very important to them more than human lives, so is our farms and streams for getting drinking water very important to us as well.

There is no need of anybody playing mischief with this my declaration because there is enough lands with grasses and nearby rivers of water in empty lands glaring at you left and right when you journey from Nasarawa state to Plateau state, to Kogi, Niger, Taraba, Adamawa and many other states in the north available for Fulani herdsmen to use as grazing fields. What is then Fulani herdsmen looking for in Biafraland which has insufficient lands for even farm purposes? The Fulani can stay and graze in the northern Nigeria and if our people wish to buy the cattle, then we can go and buy and transport them back for business just as we do in getting onions, water melon, cucumber, and many other farm produce only gotten in the north.

Biafrans and Ebonyi people in particular do not want fulanis on our soil because they derive joy in shedding innocent bloods. Reject fulani now and save your people, your farmlands and streams in Ebonyi state. A word is enough for the wise!
