An Encounter With Intersociety And Their Unprofessional Involvement In IPOB Administrative Decisions

An Encounter With Intersociety And Their Unprofessional  Involvement In IPOB Administrative Decisions

It is a well known fact that, Human Rights Organisations are Professional Non-Governmental groups, who advocates for Human Rights through identification of violation and not the involvement of Indigenous People's Leadership or Administrative Internal decisions. When a Human Rights group, ventures into and reacts towards issues that are clearly not Human Rights, it withdraws public trust from them.

'My Phone Conversation With The Chairman Of International Society For Civil Liberties And The Rule Of Law (Inter-society), Emeka Umegbalasi'

"I called Emeka Umegbalasi as a representative of citizen Nnamdi Kanu, to get copies of the report on the massacre of IPOB youths during peaceful rallies, that ought to be dispatched to Biafrans, following the order from the leadership of IPOB and he said one thousand copies goes for Six Hundred Thousand Naira only, but we argued and I slashed it to the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Naira only.

Few days later, he called back and engaged me in a discussion, on what I tagged "UNPROFESSIONAL INVOLVEMENT IN IPOB ADMINISTRATIsVE DECISION",  for advocating the reinstatement of all suspended former principal officers of IPOB, by the leadership under citizen Nnamdi Kanu.

He urged me to visit IPOB leader in prison and compel him to reconsider his stance on their suspension and threatened of its consequences. He went further to letting me know that he earlier called the Wife of citizen Nnamdi Kanu, to debate her husband into revoking the sanction of his friends ( suspended officers of IPOB).

Being IPOB leader's Personal Representative on the assignment, I (Ibeh Gift Amarachi) demanded he stays off IPOB leadership's decisions and stop his unnecessary advocacy for the reinstatement of his friends who went against IPOB principles and was suspended, he now felt embarrassed and ended the conversation.

Meanwhile, the recent negative assertions against IPOB leader by Emeka Umegbalasi, is a clear indication that, Intersociety have lost their touch and track. The supposedly Human Right organization, has no right to interfere into IPOB decisions and operational system, because it shows total deviation from the functions of Human Right code of conduct and ethics. There are several Killings, Illegal detentions in the South-East region that should be reported and advocated for by Intersociety, but their lack of focus, has kept them off the track.

The concoction of unfounded or ungrounded accusations and spewing of unguarded utterances against IPOB leader for a retaliation over the suspended friends of Intersociety's Chairman Emeka Umegbalasi, of accepting an alleged "car gift" from the murderer and  killer of over one thousand Biafran youths, who protested for the illegal detention in prison of the leader of IPOB, clearly exposes unprofessionalism and the downfall of this political group called Intersociety.

The questions every sane mind should ask the Chairman Of Intersociety  Emeka Umegbalasi are;

1) If Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, refused Governor Willie Obiano's offer of paying IPOB Victim Hospital Bills, who he ordered for their shoot at sight at different time and locations and many were killed, what then will Kanu do with a car gift?

2) Where was the car gift, when Citizen Nnamdi Kanu used his personal car when he visited Nkpor on the 29th of May 2017, to pay tribute to the Heroes who fell from  bullets under the watchful eyes of this same Governor Willie Obiano?

3) What relationship does an alleged car gift, have to do with Human Right Advocacy?

For a group such as Intersociety, to disdain a fight against thousands of pending illegal detentions and killings across South-East and put up a juvenile misguided gossip fight against IPOB leadership, it then becomes crystal clear that, the common man has no hope.
Intersociety's fight against IPOB leader citizen Nnamdi Kanu, over decisions taken by the leadership, has forced  not just IPOB, but the World at large to lose their confidence in the now Political and favouritism group, called Intersociety.

However, Intersociety should try to be more professional in discharging their duty as a Human Right group by conducting a  more forensic and authentic investigation as regards to the allegation of acceptance of a car gift by IPOB leader and not making publications based on hearsay. One of the basic functions of a Rights group is to have forensic evidence to substantiate their claim of an alleged corrupt practices with regards to government cum citizen affairs and not meddling into IPOB Administrative decision making.

    (King James Bible) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
