Distinguished Senators and Honourable Rep members
THE THREAT OF AREWA YOUTHS AGAINST IGBOS IS A CLEAR CALL TO DIVIDE NIGERIA
It is with my deepest concern over the potential calamity looming on the people of the three ancient nations of West Africa which existed before the invasions of British colonnial merchants led by Lord Luggard, namely Biafra, Arewa and Oduduwa ancient nations, that I, Mazi Onyebuchi Eze (A Biafran Activist) with Family Writers Press of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that I become compelled to write this open letter to you people (Nigeria Senate and Nigeria House of Representatives). It may not has gone unnoticed to you people in Nigeria's both Chambers of National Assembly, a threat which is contained in Kaduna Declaration dated June 6, 2017, which Coalition of Arewa youths issued against Igbo people of Biafraland residing in emerging Arewa Republic, an expected debris and also one of the tripod sovereign nations which will emerge when Nigeria is completely dissolved soonest. You people in Nigeria National Assembly (Senate and House of Rep) cannot also pretend ignorance to the ever increasing agitations of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in demand for Biafra restoration which has heated up the polity in the dying Nigeria federation for many years now.
Distinguished Senators and Rep Members, it is obvious that due to the fact that Nigeria elites, a class where you people belong to, who are collecting jumbo pay of salaries and allowances and thereby eating fat, you the Senators and Rep Members are expected to be holding unto preservation of Nigeria in which it is already obvious that it has been rejected by every one of the three forced nations into the union called Nigeria. Biafrans have openly rejected Nigeria, Oduduwa have also hypocritical shown their rejection of Nigeria although sitting on defense due to cowardice, Arewa youths can no longer also hide their gnashing of teeth in Nigeria, that was why they called on Nigeria government to tell Biafrans to go with their Biafra so that peace will reign. With this latest development where Arewa nation's youths have vented their anger on their call on Biafrans residing in their nation of Arewa to vacate before October 1, 2017. It is important for Nigeria National Assembly to wade into this burning issue and advise the Federal government of Nigeria to organize a referendum for Biafrans to decide the political will of the people of Biafra or stay action and do not waste their scarce resources and just simply carve out Biafra territories according to the Biafra map given by Biafrans.
Distinguished Senators and Rep members, it is important to know that there is no constitutional bottle-neck and its obsolete and archaic citations and interpretations of "indivisibility" and "indissolubility" which can supersede the collective interest of the people when such interest clash with the provision of the segment of the constitution. May I tell you people in the Senate and House of Rep that Nigeria 1999 Constitution as amended was made for Nigerians (People of Biafra, Oduduwa & Arewa) and not the people made for the Constitution.
It is upon this ground that I make bold to call on Nigeria Senate and House of Rep to make haste and avert this looming danger inherent in the fragile condition of Nigeria at the moment by writing to Nigeria government to arrange a snap UN, AU, EU, ECOWAS and local observers monitored referendum for Biafrans to exit Nigeria peacefully as soon as possible before it will be too late for Nigerian state. I want you people to understand that a people must survive in the territories which is artificially confiscated by Britain and christened same Nigeria in 1914 before you will be talking about Nigerian federation to protect as One Nigeria. Should Nigeria National Assembly continues to keep mute on the affairs of Nigeria as things are going at the moment, Nigeria Senate and House of Rep will be held responsible if Nigeria eventually drifts into anarchy and constitutional crisis as it is already glaring.
Nigeria Senate & House of Rep should know that if they fail to do something on time and make legislation that will create room for Biafrans to leave Nigeria peacefully, and the present social turmoil make Nigeria drift into civil unrest or arm conflict, then the whole of Africa will be consumed. An obvious reality is that the people of Biafra, the people of Oduduwa and lastly the people of Arewa has separately chosen to pathway as Nigeria union is no more working. Any further attempt to hold unto the obsolete constitutional bottle-neck of indivisibility & indissolubility of Nigeria is tantamount to wanting the shed of millions of blood to protect the British business empire called Nigeria. A word is enough for the wise.
