COMING BIAFRA REFERENDUM: A TRUEST TEST OF SUPREMACY BETWEEN INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND NIGERIA CONSTITUTION

COMING BIAFRA REFERENDUM: A TRUEST TEST OF SUPREMACY BETWEEN INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND NIGERIA CONSTITUTION

Only a few people in Biafra Land, Nigeria Federation and the world at large may know that there is a serious battle of supremacy at the moment between international laws which Nigeria government is a signatory to and Nigeria Constitution of 1999 as amended over the present global debate on the call of Biafra Referendum by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide under the Supreme command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (De Great). The call for Biafra Referendum is the most discussed topic all over the media at moment as it has attracted the attention of both local and international media outlets such as Al-Jazeera, BBC, Radio France International, CNN, Channels TV, TVCNews and many others. Call for Biafra referendum is also gaining the deserved diplomatic attention of civilized nations of the world who continued to assure IPOB of their support for the referendum such as Turkey, Israel, Morocco, United States and many other countries too numerous to mention.

As Nigeria government under the Cordinator, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has gone vocally silent over the stormy gale of the call for Biafra referendum, leaving the media houses in the land to continue needless and endless arguments on the repackaged ruse called RESTRUCTURING as they were paid through Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) to be doing so; it is important for all Biafrans and Nigerians to understand that there is a serious battle going underground at the moment. This epic underground battle is anchored on the the fact that Nigeria government cabals managing Aso Rock who are led by Musa Lawal Daura, DG-DSS, vehemently stood that Nigeria Constitution as the Supreme law of Nigeria does not recognize national or regional referendum even as it is true that Nigeria government is a signatory to the international charters and conventions recognising Self-determination and referendum. As it is at the moment, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN),  a professor of Law does not want to continue making caricature of his academic ingenuity any more and has shown his willingness to his Aso Rock commanding cabals led by Musa Daura that he is ready to conduct Biafra referendum to avoid further diplomatic damages on Nigeria government but these cabals under reference rejected the submission of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

However, it is important to ask these obstinate Aso Rock cabals the following questions:

1. Do you people understand the diplomatic consequences associated with a country like Nigeria to treat with contempt United Nations and Africa Union charters which it voluntarily appends its signature to?
2. Does it mean that these obstinate cabals do not know that whenever two or three countries establishes a treaty or any charter and each voluntarily put signature to it as done on UN charter on Indigenous People right and AU charter on human and people right, that if its contents disagrees anywhere with national constitution of one of the signatory nations, that the international treaty or charter will prevail?
3. If Nigeria has chosen to be an enclave void of modern civilization associated with Self-determination, why did Nigeria government hypocritically or gullibly signed international laws which some of their contents disagree with the provision of Nigeria constitution in the first place?
4. Does it mean that Nigeria government delegates who signed these UN charter and AU charters on behalf of Nigeria government do not understand that there provisions of the two treaties which disagree with the provision of indissolubility and indivisibility of Nigeria as contained in the Nigeria Constitution?
5. Why not the intellectually bereft Nigeria government refuse to sign the UN and AU treaties until it amends the sections of its constitution which disagrees with the two international laws?

These relevant questions are waiting for answers from the Aso Rock cabals who have vowed to disobey the international laws no matter what the consequences may be like. It is important for these Aso Rock cabals to save Nigeria government from further diplomatic damages associated with a contempt done against United Nations and Africa Union charters because I am aware that there is a remaining part of Nigeria that will still exist as Nigeria when Biafra is eventually carved out after the referendum which may suffer the consequences of the present diplomatic rebellion against international laws. It is not gainsay that Nigeria is a signatory to United Nations charter which its Article 1 (2) and Africa Union charter Article 20 (2) both justified a call for self-determination and referendum and thereby digging the grave of Nigeria government by disobeying such treaties freely entered into by Nigeria.

As Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide is not the people in the position to enforce the United Nations and Africa Union charters on Nigeria government, let it be known to the world that we have chosen the part of civil disobedience in our push for Nigeria government to obey these treaties and organize Biafra referendum. IPOB is now crossing its fingers and waiting to know whether Nigeria constitution will override UN and AU charters or these international laws will be the ones to override Nigeria constitution when both disagree in the provision of their contents. On the part of IPOB as a people, we have declared that all indigenous people all over Biafra Land will never participate in any election organized by the occupational Nigeria government any more because all we want is that both UN and AU should compel Nigeria government to respect laws which it voluntarily appended its signature to. IPOB is looking forward to seeing if UN and AU will sacrifice the power of their laws just to satisfy the ungodly yearning of Nigeria government due to the political bubble binding them with Nigeria or stand their ground to compel Nigeria government to obey these treaties and avoid setting a dangerous precedence because Biafra is involved. I rest my case!

  1. Sometimes I wonder if Nigeria government really understand what diplomacy is all about?
Nigeria is a failed state where rule of law is not applicable then why the anger, when Nigeria is addressed as a zoo?
