IPOB STUDENTS FUTO CHAPTER MAKES A DIFFERENCE AS THEY PAID A SOLIDARITY VISIT TO MAZI NNAMDI KANU IN HIS HOME TOWN

As the Biafra struggle is taking shape and form, IPOB FUTO chapter is not left out of the giant strides the struggle is generating of recent. It is on record that since the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was released from the Nigerian humiliating prison cell in Kuje, his home has become a land for pilgrimage. Host of Biafrans on daily bases throng his compound to show him support. There comes the IPOB FUTO chapter which has decided to taking the lead amongst other higher institutions in the unfettered quest for Biafra restoration as they visited the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his abode.


In the early hours of 26th July, 2017 the IPOB FUTO chapter embarked on a  solidarity visit to the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra in his home town at Afara-Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, Abia state, Biafraland to show their unflinching support to the Biafra struggle and unalloyed loyalty to his leadership. On reaching his abode, all protocols were duly observed and the students were led into his compound. Just like every other events, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has never failed to seizing any opportunity to enlighten Biafrans and motivate them as to why Biafra must be restored. Mr Darlington Chukwubuikem, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's aid took the center stage and briefly gave a speech on Biafra restoration, while the students awaited the coming of the leadership of IPOB. After the introduction and eloquent teaching by Kanu's aid, the IPOB FUTO chapter were lucky enough to having another hard core Biafran and an IPOB principal officer in the person of Mazi George Onyibe, the  African Continental Representative. Mazi George Onyibe who is incidentally the African Continental Representative and Nigerian Coordinator, when mounted the podium addressed Biafrans as he delivered a heart-warming and magnificent renditions by inculcating undiluted knowledge with regards to what Biafra restoration project entails. Within a short period of time after the lectures, comes the leader of Indigenous People Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and at this time the crowd have been charged, energised and they welcomed him with a standing ovation.


On the arrival of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, he welcomed the crowd and showed a profound gratitude to all that were present, even as he charged them to remain tenacious and relentless in the quest for Biafra restoration. While eruditely delivering his own speech, he encouraged the students to keep hope alive never to relent and should put more efforts in making sure that Biafra restoration campaign penetrates all the nooks and crannies of institutions of higher learning in Biafraland. He urged them to make sure that the Biafran student are under the wider umbrella of IPOB in the cause for Biafra restoration. He frowned at the inability of the Biafran students to taking lead in the struggle as they remain the future leaders when Biafra is finally restored. He also warned on the impending disaster that will engulf the fraudulent Nigerian state should a Biafra referendum date is not given in a short period of time, even as he urged that the election boycott campaign be taking to various instructions.


However, the IPOB FUTO chapter led by the FUTO coordinator,  Mazi Chima Nwoke Mba in the company of the Owerri zonal coordinators, Mazi Abraham Chukwumankpam and Mazi Prestige the coordinator of IPOB Ezoibodo, while speaking appreciated the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra for his warm reception and the speech he made. He promised that IPOB FUTO chapter will not let him and Biafrans world wide down but will make sure that every corners of higher institutions in Owerri are made to join the struggle for the liberation of Biafrans. Nnamdi Kanu was given an award with the inscription "OUR GREAT TEACHER" which simply signifies how magnificent his teaching always are and how insightful they are too.


After receiving the award, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was overwhelmed with so much joy and thanked Chukwu Okike Abiama for his mercies and prayed He lead us safely back to our various destinations, and bade us farewell.
