Nnamdi Kanu Court Case Update: DSS Resumes Hostilities, Bars Journalists From Entering Court Room

Court Case Update: DSS Resumes Hostilities, Bars Journalists From Entering Court Room

An eye witness report from a Family Writers correspondent, Moses Agbo, who is reporting live from Federal High Court Abuja has disclosed that Nigeria security agents have once again resumed hostilities against journalists and several other people who are present in court to witness today's proceedings.

The trial of the embattled leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his codefendants, Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawusi and Chidiebere Onwudiwe, is due to resume today October 17, 2017 at Federal High Court Abuja.
Uncertainties have surrounded what the outcome of today's court sitting would be like as the first defendant,Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was granted conditional bail in April, has been missing and even alleged to have been killed during a bloody raid by Nigeria military at his residence in Umuahia last month.

"As of this moment, none of the members of IPOB or any of the perceived persons coming for  Nnamdi Kanu's case is allowed to enter the court premises.

"We are being driven from one place to another, and when Barr. Ejiofor summoned them, the DSS instructed that we must document our names before entering. We have done that and sent to Ejiofor, we are still outside waiting for clarification as they demands," Family Writers correspondent, Moses Agbo Obinna reported.
