THE APEX IGBO SOCIO CULTURAL ORGANISATION OHANEZE NDI-IGBO HAS LOST IT'S RELEVANCE

THE APEX IGBO SOCIO CULTURAL ORGANISATION OHANEZE NDI-IGBO HAS LOST IT'S RELEVANCE

For Family Writers Press.

The Apex Igbo socio cultural since organisation that was formed in 1976 with the purpose of pursuing the common interests of Ndi - Igbo, though not a political party, part of its objectives of creation is to foster unity among its members in order to better allow them to be representative within the political scenario of Nigeria.

Many years after, it seems the organization has derailed from it's mandate as they have totally failed in upholding the ideals of the people. In leadership, it is the constituents that confers on the leaders to represent them, which means that power belongs to the people.

Therefore, leaders fail  the moment the masses  withdraw their support from them owing to perceived misrepresentation, sabotage, betrayal or connivance with the enemies of progress of the people.

However, the egalitarian nature of Ndi Igbo in general has made it impossible for self imposed leaders to always have a field day as the people will always rise to speak for themselves and take massive action to send down their demands, which can lead to civil disobedience and peaceful protests.

In recent times, the ineptitude representation of these elites and their collaborators has fuelled the agitation for a better deal by the Igbo Biafrans. Until the emergence of Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB came to limelight to champion the restoration of the dignity of the people. Instead of receiving accolades from the Ohaneze's government, it was faced with destructive criticisms and tantrums from those leaders who claimed to represent the people.

They became an instrument to scuttle the advancement of the people because of their self interest. They connived with the government of Nigeria to unleash the worst sabotage recorded in history as they endorsed the proscription of their own people which led to scores of death of hundreds of people mostly youths through the Nigeria's army operation code - named operation python dance 1and 2, all in a bid to quell the voice of the people. This singular action has raised questions amongst the people, because it is glaring before everyone that they were be represented by compromised leaders whose interest is only money and contract from the Nigerian government.

The confidence reposed on the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the governors in the region have been withdrawn in totality by the people. The Eastern governors are more interested in their political future than the survival of the Igbo race in the contraption called Nigeria that is controlled by the caliphate who claims the ownership of the country.

Indeed, the emergence of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, exposed the evil and criminal activity of these political jobbers  called Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the eastern governors.

IPOB being on the forefront of the agitation to liberate Biafrans from the evil contraption called Nigeria has enlightened the people that they now know who are their true representatives.
Many years before the coming of IPOB, there has never being a group that stood the ground to fight for the Igbo race or easterners, not Ohaneze or the political elites both in the states and federal  government Nigeria.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) passed a vote of no confidence on Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the eastern (the Igbo speaking governors) therefore declared them proscribed. The people of the east and Biafrans have tested and proved that IPOB remains the only advocate and mouth piece of the people as Ohaneze Ndi Igbo and the eastern governors have lost their relevance, because they don't speak for the people anymore.

IPOB has therefore admonished  people of the Biafran  to desist from any activities with the political slaves in Biafra land including the political elites or the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo.
