IPOB OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2 ZONAL COORDINATORS MEETING HELD ON SUNDAY 16TH JUNE 2019




Appreciable number of the Zonal Coordinators of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area 2, in Igweocha Province of Biafraland, converged for a crucial meeting with the Area 2 Executives, aimed at evaluating performances so far and re-strategizing for the desired objectives. The meeting commenced at 3:45pm with opening prayer said by Rev. Augustine Akpan (Tank zone). The Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor heartily welcomed all the participants and commended the zonal coordinators and their respective zones particularly, for effectively and strictly adhering to the instructions of the IPOB leadership regarding the last Candlelight Memorial Service/Biafra Heroes and Heroines Remembrance Day.  He commended the efforts of the brethren within his jurisdiction for making the events of Wednesday 29th/Thursday 30th of May 2019, a worthwhile one.

Issues relating to finances and leadership in the Area were exhaustively discussed as adoptable measures aimed at nipping in the board, acts of indolence/inactiveness in some zones were put in place. Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor maintained that such identified anomalies are inexcusable and must not be allowed to persist. Discipline and IPOB's Principle of Command and Control must have to be strictly applied/observed.

Mazi Prince Chukwunonso, speaking on behalf of Area 2 Media, gave some briefs on the successes of the ongoing foreign tours/townhall meetings of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He encouraged all to fully explore the social media handles already provided to get updates pertaining the Biafra restoration struggle.

Every other matter of utmost relevance, geared towards repositioning Obio/Akpor Area 2, for functionality and expected results, were exhaustively touchlighted.

Mazi Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem, the Area 2 Elders Council Chairman, joyfully appreciated the presence of the attendees and equally gave encouragement for all to imbibe the spirit of discipline, commitment and resilience for the restoration of the sovereign of nation of Biafra. He also gave prayers of thanksgiving to Chukwuokike Abiama (God Almighty) for the kola-nuts presented.

The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor in closing, thanked all for the day's meeting and prayed for safe trips of the participants back to their different destinations. The meeting eventually adjourned at 6:40pm.
