BIAFRA: IPOB IGWEOCHA FAMILY BUBBLES AS OBIGBO LGA 3 HOLDS IT'S FIRST GENERAL MEETING
The family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, in Obigbo local government area 3 in Igweocha, Biafraland, successfully and joyfully held it's very first general meeting on Tuesday 24th September, 2019. The meeting recorded an encouraging turnout including women who equally expressed gratitude for the expansion of the IPOB family in the area.
The Area Coordinator, Mazi Eze Ndu, passionately enjoined members on the need for consistency, discipline and sacrifice in the Biafra restoration struggle. In his words: "Obigbo Area 3 as we all know, was created out of circumstances, mainly for the purpose of expanding the IPOB family and for the restoration of Biafra. There is the need for everyone of us to be consistent in this quest for freedom. Biafra which is our freedom, is the only hope we have. Therefore, we must join hands together and make sure we restore it's sovereignty".
Mazi Eze Ndu further stated: "Corruption as we know, is a very dangerous disease. That is why our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his deputy, Mazi Uche Mefor, always tell us that they will not allow the face of this project to see corruption. And as the coordinator of this local government area, I promise you that it will be whiter than snow. I want you all to be courageous and whiter than snow".
The Area 3 Women Coordinator, Ezinne M. Nkeiruka Chikezie, on her part, expressed gratitude for the massive attendance of the meeting by the members. She encouraged all within the family, to remain formidable and resolute in the struggle until the nation of Biafra is completely restored. "Anywhere you see injustice, fight it because, it may come for you", she further emphasized while delivering her speech on the need for the people to embark on the fight against all shades of corruption and injustice.
The Women leader also urged all to emulate the examplary life style of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, whom she described as a lover of freedom. Ezinne M. Nkeiruka Chikezie also stressed the need for all to put in more effort in sensitization and evangelism so as to ensure that the "gospel of Biafra", spreads across the entire jurisdiction.
Chief Ugwumba of Obigbo Royal Palace who was also in attendance, thanked the members for being relatively peaceful despite inflammatory provocations from some quarters.
"As a Biafran veteran, I want to let you understand that the struggle for Biafra is a struggle for freedom and justice. And as an IPOB member, you have to be proud of whom you are, doing what is right both for yourself and for your generation. I encourage each and everyone of you to continue doing what is right because the total restoration of the sovereign State of Biafra is much closer than expected", he further advised.
