BREAKING: IPOB INAUGURATES ENOHIA ITIM UNIT 2 AND AMAMGBALA UNIT 1 IN AFIKPO NORTH LGA, EBONYI STATE, BIAFRALAND

Tumultuous joy filled the air in Afikpo on Friday 20th September 2019, as additional family units of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), got inaugurated in line with the Biafra restoration effort. This was courageously and successfully carried out despite persistent security challenges in the state. Armed security operatives in connivance with some saboteurs are yet desperate in their trades to try to strangulate IPOB activities but all to no avail.

The glaring influx of Fulanis into this part of Biafraland because of the large Islamic school situated therein, coupled with the Ebonyi State Government's anti-IPOB stance, could not deter the people as large turnout of members graced the occasion. In an interview with Family Writers Press Correspondent, Mazi Igwe Johnson, the Afikpo zonal coordinator, maintained that the days of our enemies and One-Nigerianism were over across the entire Biafraland. He stated that in no distant future, light will definitely appear and darkness will be swallowed up. He promised ensuring that eighty (80) percent of Biafrans in his area of jurisdiction (Ehugbo),  get enlisted into the IPOB family.

Mazi Okechukwu Okpara, the Local Government Area Coordinator in his reaction, called on the indigenes of Afikpo to arise and join forces with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for the betterment of all and that of the upcoming Biafran generations. He further stated that it is only the unfettered restoration of the sovereign nation of Biafra that will redeem Afikpo from Islamisation and invasion of the Hausa-Fulanis.

The newly inaugurated unit members through IPOB oath administration, pledged their allegiance to the restoration project and the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They vowed never to capitulate, the circumstances notwithstanding. They equally enjoined all Afikpo indigenes both home and abroad, to make their sacrificial contributions towards the realization of the Biafra dream.

All the family members expressed happiness and joy for being part of the event, maintaining that their shelved engagements elsewhere because of the inauguration, were worth it. They prayed for safe trips back home as well as divine protection all through the struggle.
