IPOB FAMILY ZONE DULY INAUGURATED IN AGBOGUGU, AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ENUGU STATE

IPOB FAMILY ZONE DULY INAUGURATED IN AGBOGUGU, AWGU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ENUGU STATE

Agbogugu is a community in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State. It suffered terror attacks from Fulani killer herdsmen (terrorists), especially in the month of August, 2019. It is an autonomous town whose traditional ruler, His Royal Highness (HRH), Igwe Sunday Orji and wife, were victims of kidnap by the marauding Fulani Islamists. They were picked up along Enugu/Port Harcourt (Igweocha) expressway. The indigenes fully believe that the presence of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as an organization, will drastically curtail if not totally eliminate the excesses of the terrorists.

The establishment of IPOB family in Agbogugu received a tumultuous welcome by the people. They came out in their numbers, embracing the movement and joyfully enlisting into the family during the inauguration exercise. The event took place on Sunday 20th October 2019, under the coordination of the Enugu State Coordinator, Mazi Okonkwo Chinonso, members of the State Executive as well as Enugu-West Senatorial District Officers.

Mazi Matthew Agu, the Enugu-West Senatorial District Coordinator, enjoined the Agbogugu family to carry strongly on, with the Biafra restoration project within the area, assuring members of his personal assistance towards the total emancipation of the people in line with IPOB objectives.

The Awgu Local Government Area Coordinator, equally encouraged the newly inaugurated zone to dutifully ensure that additional units spread to the neighboring communities like Ogbaku and Ituku.

Mazi Kasieobi Okafor and other members were appointed as the executives of the newly inaugurated zone, with required IPOB documents, handed over to them for guidance.

IPOB Media personnel were equally on ground to carry out their functions. Agbogugu indigenes both home and abroad, through the publication of this inauguration exercise, would begin to fully know all pertaining to IPOB related activities within that area of Biafraland.
