The Only Way Out From The Present Nigeria Predicament
Looking critically at Nigeria and the unending avalanche of problems bedeviling the country, you will agree with me that all is not well, except if you are a hypocrite. What then is the solution to this malady?
If someone is sick of appendicitis and you are adminstering paracetamol to it , it is very realistic that the patient will eventually die. The person died because a rightful principle of medical solution was not applied or was not applied. The case required a surgical operation but the patient was given a drug for common headache.
Such is the case of Nigeria. The problem is not elections or the person in power or the political party, rather the problem is the system itself which is structured to give birth to unproductivity, corruption, egocentricity, nepotism, enslavement and the likes.
Since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914 and the eventual independence in 1960, the agenda of UNITY has been an unachievable task across all successive governments, from the colonial era till date. Some dictators had strived so hard to achieve this UNITY by all means including the use of military might but all to no avail. However, it is pathetic that the handlers of the ''One-Nigeria", have decided to live in pretence and hypocrisy.
Furthermore, they have succeeded in silencing the citizenry through the use of maximum force, intimidation, subjugation, subversion and tribalism/favouritism. The government itself has shown no mercy to helpless masses. Nigeria is a country whose citizens are with different value systems and there is absolutely no gain forcing people of different interests/mindset together. That is the reason why you can not define or regard Nigeria rather than a contraption created by Fredrick. Lugard.
Consequently, this has given birth to the endless agitation for the total dissolution of Nigeria and the total restoration of the Sovereign State of Biafra by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide.
As Martin Luther King jnr said and I quote, "Since the handlers of the system will not change the rules, we have got to change the system so that both the handlers and the rules will change."
Here lies the solution to Nigeria's problems. If a peaceful solution is not quickly applied, Nigeria will eventually die a violent death.
