The Tragic End Of A Biafran Hero, Ikonso

Saturday 24th April 2021, shall ever remain a tragic date, engraved in the sand of history and in the memory of all Biafrans. It was a tragic day to always be remembered because that was the day, combined team of Nigerian security forces (including the army, navy, police and officials of the Department of Security Services (DSS), unjustifiably and inexcusably murdered Ikonso, a Commander of Eastern Security Network (ESN) in Imo state, labelling him a terrorist. The Eastern Security Network was formed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to rid Biafran forests, bushes and farmlands, of Fulani Islamic terrorists that are disguising themselves as herdsmen.

Boko Haram (an Islamic jihadist group), bandits (another Islamic group under the tutelage of Sheikh Gumi), ISWAP and Fulani herdsmen, have been ravaging the Nigerian civilian population with the military (a heavily compromised military) suffering heavy casualties as well. Yet, the Fulani controlled Federal Government of Nigeria, see them as their brothers who need not to be harmed but to be given rehabilitation, amnesty and be recruited into the military, with juicy positions offered.

Ikonso rendered a selfless service to Biafrans as a Unit Commander of the ESN, under the oath of protecting Biafran territories as duty may call, from Fulani herdsmen that leave destruction and death in their trail.
Ikonso with his men, ensured that the forests, bushes and farmlands in Imo State, are kept safe for our mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, by flushing out these vampiric Fulani herdsmen. This grand feat has been attested to, by Biafrans iincluding the quislings in government.

The Eastern Security Network (ESN), has in all it's security esurveillance and exercises, exhibited no threat of terrorism. This security outfit is globally known to be the regional security force of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) that have maintained peaceful protests while calling for a referendum. The Nigerian government's biased crackdown on the non-violent IPOB members, had led to thousands being gruesomely killed and incarcerated without trials amidst many other provocative inhumane treatments that have neccesitated the activation of self defense.
ESN was birthed into existence as a defense force for helpless Biafrans. The disgusting unconcerned behavior of the International community and puppeted local officials under the influence of the grand evil schemer, Britain, is to say the least, most disappointing.

Ikonso typified the true spirit of Biafra which toughened him against compromise calls by Hope Uzodinma, the Imo State imposed Governor to dump ESN and head EbubeAgu Security Outfit. This is a Security Network put together by South-East Governors under the dictates of Fulani security chiefs whose kith and kin are the perpetrators of the crimes in Biafraland. Ikonso's uncompromising stance eventually earned him assasination from a lackey governor who has since, gone into hiding.

Ikonso was really an "Iroko tree" both in his life and death. His impact reached far and wide. History has taught that there is nothing as dangerous as killing a leader of a determined people. It makes a martyr of him and creates a million and one of his type.
Eastern Security Network (ESN), is highly complex to be taken for a ride. Killing any of it's personnel attracts unwavering stings. Well informed security expert will always advise for caution while dealing with a security formation such as ESN. This latest, hastily thought-out action shall be the end of Nigeria. You can take this to the bank.

Ikonso, may your legacy to stand for your own people even when you knew that it will cost you your life, remain a formidable force and encouragement to every Biafran. You died a hero and Biafra will never ever forget you!
