Nigeria Forces And The Regular Unprofessionalism In The Discharge Of Duties, A Page Torn From Colonists' Play Book

Nigeria Forces And The Regular Unprofessionalism In The Discharge Of Duties, A Page Torn From Colonists' Play Book

It is commonly acknowledged that only three things are constant in life: Truth, Moon and Sun. The truth has always been outstanding, no matter the rate of conspiracy or efforts targeted at suppressing and subduing it.

We have seen many security settings round the world, but have never seen one as bad as the Nigerian security. Their unprofessional ways of discharging their duties is second to none, and is in no way distinct from that of  terrorists. Although, one could argue that the unprofessionalism is as old as the unsolicited meddling by the colonial administration.

It can be recalled that the Nigerian security agencies on the 14th of September 2017, invaded the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenious People Of Biafra(IPOB). And on the process, shot and killed more than 28 armless individuals, not even minding that the home is a royal home. Again, this gruesome and vile behavior is traceable to the colonial administration that was wrapped in a bedsheet of cultural defilement, ancestral demonization and racial derogatory.

When the home of the Yoruba Nation leader, Sunday Igboho, was raided or invaded in a disgusting manner, very consistent with a tyrant method, the Nigerian security went on rampage killing many innocent citizens. Then, plant guns in the house and the surroundings and claim that they were discovered there. That was a page torn from the colonial administration's play book of gaslighting or psychological manipulation.

When terrorists also referred to as bandits attacked a Southern Kaduna village, what was traumatizing was the unprofessional conduct of Nigerian air force pilots who killed the villagers in the guise of trying to repel the terrorists, while sparing the terrorists at same time. This has embarrassingly shown a security that is unprecedented unprepared or infiltration by terrorists.

The most recent Is the burning down of over 40 buildings, an ancestral market, and the killing of many innocent and unarmed youths unprovoked, all in a single day, at Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, Biafra land, by the same Nigeria soldiers.

Painfully, we have never heard or seen the Nigerian security agencies act in such a brazen manner towards the terrorists that are terrorising everywhere in Nigeria, especially the North. It is only against unarmed and innocent citizens. Does it really mean that they were only trained to attack unarmed people or does this insinuate that there is a secret agenda they have against the Middlebelt, the West ( Oduduwa) and the East (Biafra)?

It is time the whole world looks into this carnage done by the Nigerian government and its security agencies.
