TERROR ATTACKS AND ABDUCTION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA BY NIGERIA POLICE

TERROR ATTACKS AND ABDUCTION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA BY NIGERIA POLICE
By Chima Onyekachi
(For Family Writers)

The rate of abduction of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Family Members by SARS and Secret Islamic Police of Nigeria in every part of Biafraland for listening to Radio Biafra is alarming. It has moved slowly and secretly from Aba where arrest and unlawful detention of Keke Napep riders who tuned to Radio Biafra on their tricycle stereo, those with Radio Biafra App on their smart phone were molested and detained.

On Wednesday 7th October 2015, in a public display of terror attack; Ten Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)  were arrested in Trans-Ekulu Ugbo Odogwu in Enugu State by Nigeria Police "anti-robbery squad" while listening to the evening broadcast of Radio Biafra in a shop. They were accused of instigating war and thrown into jail. That is a ridiculous and absurd charge against innocent men. This is an act of abduction ordered by Muhammad Buhari's government to his Secret Islamic Police.

Radio Biafra has been jammed and neutralized by the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission(NBC) with millions of dollars but it still survived and blaring loud on every platform known as- online, app, satellite, radio FM,  shortwave, and also on TV station. The next decree given by President Muhammad Buhari of Nigeria is to neutralize IPOB members and listeners of Radio Biafra.
Recently as reported on Nigeria dailies, the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police Usman Gwary in charge of Zone 9 has declared categorically that the police are ready to battle the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Every Nigeria Police Command situated in Biafra land has been given the signal to silence and kill IPOB members.

Let Amnesty International, International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the United Nations be aware of the continuous terror attacks been perpetrated against Biafrans who have been exercising their right to self-determination peacefully even with the recent online petition going on the platform of http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/a-call-to-boycott-buhari.fb48?source=s.icn.fb&r_by=14335651 The Nigeria and foreign medias should not pretend they are not aware of these crimes against Biafrans. This is an act of provocation against Indigenous People of Biafra and may not be tolerated for too long. The killing of IPOB members in Onitsha on 30th August 2015 by a combine team of Nigeria Navy and Police is still fresh in our minds and will never be forgotten.
