WE ARE THE LIGHT

WE ARE THE LIGHT
By Oscar Onyeani Umah
(For Family Writers)

A candle light on hill cannot be hidden but will continue to shine no matter how strong the wind continue to blow, this is in the wake of many atrocity committed against the children of Biafra . Take a good look around the globe and as I had mentioned in one the articles some few weeks back that and I quote:

No matter where a Biafran is, he or she is always outstanding among his peers and this is a fact, just take a close look at one of the malnourished kid circled in the picture below and tell me who he is? Well if you are still trying to figure out who that little boy in the circle is or who that eminent personality attached to the pictures is, That kid is the little boy who was adopted by the late President of Gabon Omar Bongo and flown to Gabon during the British-nigerian (zoo) genocide against the people of Biafra and as we speak today he, that little boy is the current president of Republic of Gabon is that not amazing? It is high time that the republic of zoo know that we Biafrans don’t rear cow or sheep but we are like a candle light on a hill and cannot be intimidated and the time has come for the children of Chukwu Abiama to be separated from the darkness call nigerian.

  1. Dear Oscar
Your account about the president of Gabon is inaccurate. The man, Ali Bongo Ondimba was born in Brazzaville on 9 February 1959 to Omar Bongo who later became the president of the country from 1967 to 2009. He was born as Alain Bernard Bongo (He later changed Alain to Ali when he and his father converted to Islam in 1973) and studied in France from the age of 9 years.

It was rumoured that he was adopted; a rumour he flatly denied. Even then the rumour didn't say that he was an adopted Igbo child. The root of the rumour was because he was born nearly one year before his parents ( Omar bongo and Josephine Kama aka Patience Dabany) were officially married.

It's conceivable that your claim is swayed by his middle name; Ondimba which sounds like an Igbo name. The bad news is Ondimba is not an Igbo name and even if it was it doesn't mean that a Nigerian named Scott is Scottish or a Nigerian called Charles is English.

Just to let your readers be aware. If you can, please correct the error.

  2. He's a true Biafran and there's nothing no one can do about it. During his presidential campaign, moves were made by his opponents to dislodge him off his pursuit for president of Gabon because they discovered he's an adopted child, a Biafran adopted during the war, and his opponents tried everything to use that as a reference to up seats him from the run, but as a Biafran, as a candle light on the hill, Chukwu Okike Abiama protected him and become the president of Gabon.
The link below is the evidence that he was discovered a Biafran during his presidential campaign. So instead of arguing, go and do your research and come back. We're here!
