FEMI-FANI KAYODE: A VICTIM OF TRUTH: MAY GO LIKE UMEH AND METUH IN THE BELLY OF A DICTATOR

Men will never know the value of their brave till war or calamity sets in, this is always the problem of men, we never learn from past experiences. If people can be forced to be dumb and allow fear cripple them, I wonder what a dictator will become. He is gradually consigning people that can stand shoulder to shoulder with him, men that want equity and equality before God and before the law. He would break Femi Fani Kayode and once that is achieved, he would begin to swallow us and one by one we shall end up in the belly of a dictator.
Since Buhari assumed office, Femi has been a vocal warrior and Buhari finds that as an affront to his presidency. One truth about dictators is they abhor criticisms even when that is what they need to be perfect. Kayode has fearless fought with his literary sword, cutting Buhari from every side and leaving him in the pool of his blood. Time after time, he slits Buhari’s throat with truth and nothing is as destructive as truth to the wicked. Buhari who felt he is being dragged to his grave has suddenly started fighting back. While he fights like a mad man, using theEFCC and DSS and detaining oneself like prison is all he can afford in life.
Just like Buhari of 1984, picking his perceived enemies and throwing them into the prison without court orders. He feels the court will delay him or rather deny him, he has found a way of throwing opposition into the prison, threatening them and later cutting their tongues. While men fight with their tongue, he knows only uprooting the tongue will be a victory. What we saw in 1984 is what we see today; incessant imprisonment and state hunt of opposition, preferential treatments, executive lawlessness and carelessness. Threatening to destroy and crush and kill anything that rightly stands in his way for a better future.
Victor Umeh was swallowed and his tongue uprooted, arrested for speaking against Fulani herdsmen and illegal policies against Indigenous People of Biafra. Taken to Abuja and threatened, imprisoned and warned never to oppose god Buhari. Umeh was indeed swallowed, upon his release; he never talked or stood against evil or injustice perpetrated against his people. He humbly went in and abstained from the media; he has been conquered and broken. His tongue has been uprooted, now in the belly of the dictator, any opposition or criticism from him, the dictator will excrete him and he would be flushed into the soak- away-pit where he would breathe no more.
Olisah Metuh dared to speak and criticize the dictator, outspoken and rumbling on daily basis, but suddenly Buhari fought back. Arrested and incarcerated him for days, threatened and attacked, denied his right and broken. It took a campaign to rescue him but then he has been swallowed and his tongue uprooted. Since after his ordeal, he has never dared the dictator or spoke against his bad policies or questioned anything. He is resting in the belly of the dictator while men that are not known are excreted and more taken in. the few men that can save others are being taken out one after another.
Buhari has a cover for his attack against his enemies or political opponents; so confident because he controls the judiciary. His cover is ‘anti-corruption war’ this war is aimed at his opponents while his allies are seen as the executor even though they are the most corrupt. There is no politician in Nigeria that is a saint and Buhari is the worst of them all. With Abacha he looted this contraption ‘establishment’ and ran to the defense of Abacha that he stole no money. This is a man today shamelessly stretching forth his hand to receive the money he stole with Abacha. While the looters of this present establishment are his right hand men with UK dailies disclosing one of them and indeed this is a fantastically corrupt establishment.
We must not fold our arms while a brave is being conspired against and killed, we must not stand and watch while a dictator is winning his bias battles. We must save the brave that will fight for us on the day of reckoning. #FREEFFK is the key that will open the door of stability in this era of dictatorship, we must endeavor to raise the platform and fight massively. If FFK is swallowed and his tongue uprooted, I wonder what will be the fate of the people. The court is open for trial; FFK should be taken to the court and not taken to the prison.
Finally, I have no doubt that what is going on is one gets arrested, threatened to keep quiet or risk maximum time in the prison. I see FFK as a fearless man that would not succumb to intimidation, harassment and threat. He would come out stronger and more fierce and jealous about human right and human existence that are under threat in this present Nigeria.
While since the release of Olisah Metuh, he has been vomiting and collapsing like a man programmed to die. We are not yet sure if during his time in Buhari’s custody, he was poisoned or injected a substance that would kill him. While we are watching with curiosity what is going on with him, we Biafrans will fight back massively if anything happens to a Biafran. #FFK should not in any way go like Metuh because there are people that deserve better than Almajiris’.
