ATTACK ON BUHARI : 5 FACTS THAT PROVES THAT GOV FAYOSE IS RIGHT

ATTACK ON BUHARI : 5 FACTS THAT PROVES THAT GOV FAYOSE IS RIGHT

By Okonkwo Isaac Somto

For Family Writers

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state is unquestionably one of the most confrontational and outspoken politician speaking against president Buhari's administration and style of leadership. Governor Ayodele Fayose always made it clear where he stands and he boldly said, “intimidation by President Muhammadu Buhari is not something he's worried about", he promised to continue speaking against anything he feels that is not right in Buhari's administration.

“My criticizing Buhari is to help the people have dividends of democracy. If nobody is talking because they are afraid, you will have a dictator in every leader. It is to keep people on their toes for the love of everybody,”- Gov Ayodele fayose of ekiti state.

Just recently, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) froze Fayose's Zenith Bank account, leading to speculations that Buhari is after him just like he came after Fani-Kayode, who are both speaking against his government. Governor Ayodele Fayose responded to Buhari by implicating Aisha Buhari in the Jefferson bribery scandal.

To cut this whole fiasco short, I have listed 5 facts that support governor Fayose right to criticise and condemn Buhari.

1. BUHARI IS A DICTATOR

Buhari is not just a known dictator but he clearly hates democracy. This man pushed aside freedom of speech and expression, and brought in fear and intimidation. Just one year into his administration, he ordered the Nigeria army to shoot shia Muslims killing over 2000 in the process. Buhari also masterminded the killings of over 4000 unarmed peaceful Biafran protesters exercising self determination. President Buhari has been making use of force and violence to run his administration. He says the law and the judiciary has no power over his government.

“Power doesn’t come from anywhere. God rules in the affairs of men. Oppressing, bringing and cutting people down, taking their blood, God is angry. The way this government is taking people down, God is angry. God isn’t happy. “Go to Rivers, they kill people. Go to Akwa Ibom, they kill people. Go to Bayelsa, they kill people, incarcerate innocent people. God is angry with Buhari. You can’t continue to take the blood of the innocent.”-Fayose.

2. BUHARI'S ANTI-CORRUPTION IS A WITCH-HUNT

It’s become very clear that ever since Buhari started this so-called anti-corruption tv series, it’s been at a targeted selected group of people. There have been no concrete bases to his fight against corruption. This man clearly makes a lot of noise, going about from one country to another in claim that his fight for corruption is working, while the economy of Nigeria is falling down flat. What a comedian!
“I support the fight against corruption but it has to be total. Buhari must be bold enough to probe how ex-presidents Obasanjo, Babangida and others spent their security votes. All the presidents that had come in Nigeria spent their security votes in the same pattern. So, Buhari must open the book and come out with facts.”-Fayose.

3. BUHARI IS A LIAR AND A PRETENDER

During the 2015 presidential electioneering campaigns, Gen Buhari, promised to make the Naira equivalent to the America Dollar but instead the naira has now become valueless. Not just on the Naira, this man made so many promises, that he's beginning to deny most of his statements. President Muhammadu Buhari also failed to publish details of recovered loot and culpable individuals as he promised he would during his nationwide broadcast on May 29, 2016. Buhari promised to make his government transparent, thereby declaring his assets but till this day he has failed to do so, in fact his wife has been implicated in the Jefferson bribery scandal. What about his party leaders who have been alleged to have converted state government properties into their personal properties? Why has

Buhari refused to tell Nigerians the source of funding for his presidential campaigns and how those who funded it with billions of Naira acquired such bountiful wealth? What about the numerous under aged Nigerians that voted for him in the northern part of the country which contributed largely to his votes that won him the presidency. So tell me, how can a President, who was corruptly voted into power fight corruption?

“Everything Buhari and his party promised Nigerians when they were looking for votes, they have denied and it won’t be a surprise if one day, Buhari comes out to even deny that he was elected on the platform of APC.”-Fayose.

4. BUHARI PLANS TO ISLAMISE NIGERIA

After Buhari dragged Nigeria into the Saudi-led Islamic coalition, it became very clear that he has inducted Nigeria as a muslim country.

"When I heard the minister of foreign affairs saying that there is nothing religious about the coalition; I’m sorry that the Minister of Foreign Affairs does not know how Nigerians behave and think,” “You cannot tell us that something is Islamic and at the same time say it is not religious. That is a contradiction. It’s like saying Islam is not a religion.”-John Onaiyekan(The Catholic Bishop of Abuja Diocese)

Northern governors in Nigeria have also began a campaign to stop Christianity in the north, leading to many outburst from christain leaders. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of kaduna, also made it clear he doesn't want christain and churches in his state.

“How can Christians be treated like cows and goats in the Northern part of Nigeria with impunity while we claim that Nigeria is a secular state?  “this is a sign of total Islamization of Nigeria, which is very dangerous to the corporate existence of the entity called

Nigeria.”- The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN).

Christians now live in fear as many have been killed in the northern region of Nigeria.

5. BUHARI CLEARLY HATES THE IGBO'S

Yes, this one, Buhari has proved this fact to be true, over and over again. From saying he didn't regret killing Igbos during the civil war, to declaring that he will kill more Igbo's to keep Nigeria together. Also to the arrest of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi kanu, to ordering his armed forces to shoot and kill over 4000 unarmed peaceful Biafran protesters, to giving the Fulani-herdsmen the free licence and liberty to kill over 1,500 Igbo-Biafrans at will. If only Buhari could exterminate the Igbo-Biafrans, that would be his greatest wish.

On the killings by the Fulani Herdsmen against Igbo-Biafrans, governor Fayose had this to say..

"It is worrisome that the Fulani herdsmen that killed over 400 Agatus in Benue State, raped women and destroyed farmlands in the North

Central, South West and South South zones of Nigeria are walking the streets free while Igbo people, who opted to defend their sources of livelihood, are languishing in detention. “Are they saying that those Igbo villagers do not have rights to defend their farmlands from further destruction by the Fulani herdsmen when the president who should defend them is keeping silent?

On the killing by the Nigeria Armed forces against Igbo-Biafrans he also had this to say..

“To even justify the killing by claiming that the Igbo youths protest was orchestrated in order to mar the first anniversary of Buhari’s government is to say the least, wicked and animalistic,” " it was worrisome that more than 150 Igbo youths had been killed by Nigerian security operatives under the directive Buhari’s government from August 30, 2015 till date, adding that "We were in this country when over 1,000 Shiite Muslims were killed and buried overnight in Zaria, Kaduna State and the murder was justified. We were also here when over 400 Agatus were killed in Benue State and the President said nothing". “It appears that President Buhari has made up his mind to eliminate as many South East and South South people as possible and lovers of the corporate existence of Nigeria and its people should call the president to order.”-Governor Ayodele Fayose.

Well the truth hurts, but better to hurt than comforted with a lie. Everything attack on Buhari by Fayose may seen controversial but that's the blunt truth backed with facts. And it takes guts to do what Fayose has done, take it or leave it; Ayodele Fayose has got my respect.

  2. Why didn't the zoo media and press uncover these crimes and atrocities about Buhari and his wife – before this monster and tyrant was elected president. The Nigerian press is complicit, incompetent and unprofessional. They are very corrupt and have contributed to the under-development of Nigeria. That's why I don’t read their newspapers anymore but only Biafra news these days.
