NIGER DELTA AVENGERS: THE LAST HOPE OF A COMMON MAN.

NIGER DELTA AVENGERS: THE LAST HOPE OF A COMMON MAN.

By Comrade Chukwu Ogbu

For Family Writers

The days are gone when the oppressed goes to the court of law to seek redress. The Nigerian Judiciary is now a business organisation where the pre-eminent trade the rights of the common man. If you do not belong to this influential class or refuse to succumb to their bidding and eventually have a court case, getting justice is unrealistic. No wonder the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra/Television Prince NNAMDI KANU, who was arrested by Buhari and his DSS and has been in detention since October 14, 2015. In one of his court appearances on December 23 2015, he said "The information I got is that I will not receive a fair trial before this court.

I will not sacrifice the due process of law because of speedy court process over the principle of natural process on the altar of speedy release.” In other words, I would rather remain in detention than subject myself to a trial that I know amounts to perversion of justice. In confirmation of his word, the justice and judges that presided over his (Nnamdi Kanu) case were all biased. For example, it may be recalled that Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on 19th February ruled against the application of the Federal Government to mask its witnesses in the trial of Nnamdi Kanu.

Tsoho held that masking the witnesses would shield their demeanour from the court. “There is no gain saying that the demeanour of witnesses is very crucial in a trial,” he said. He also held that sufficient particulars had not been provided by the prosecution to show that the witnesses were being threatened and ruled out the case. But surprisingly, after receiving bribe from Buhari and his cronies who were desperate to jail an innocent man for the seeking of the rights and freedom of his People, again on March 8 2016 court upheld the Federal Government’s application to shield witnesses who will testify against him, this biased and double-ruling has exposed the unprofessionalism of the Nigerian Judiciary.

When it seems that all hope has been lost, the NIGER DELTA AVENGERS, NDA surfaces, demanding for Nnamdi Kanu’s immediate release or the Government will be at risk of losing all. Due to the careless delay of the Nigerian Government in granting their demand, they have successfully shutdown the crude oil production from 2.6 million barrel to barely 688,000 barrel per day and has as well put many Chevron, NNPC, and Shell major pipeline into conflagration.

The NDA are willing and ready to cause more damages to the Nigerian economy if Nnamdi Kanu is not granted bail immediately, as they have equally and succesfuly bombed NNPC major pipelines at Akwa Ibom yesterday June 16 2016.
