The popular Niger Delta Activist group known as Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for blowing up a 48" crude oil export pipeline belonging to ExxonMobile Oil Company.

The freedom fighters who claimed that they carried out the attack at about 7:30pm on Monday night, expressed their unreserved annoyance over the disobedience of International Oil Companies(IOC) towards an earlier order they gave banning all export of crude oil from the region.

The group whose pipeline attacks has brought Nigeria's oil production to almost a zero rate maintained that there shall be no peace to all International Oil Companies unless they heed to their command and stop exporting crude oil from the region.

The statement which was signed by the Spokesperson of the group, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo reads-

"At about 7:30pm the Niger Delta Avengers blow up ExxonMobile Qua Iboe 48" crude oil export pipeline.

"When will these International Oil Companies(IOC) learn to listen. We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export" the group rages.

  2. Why can't this foreign oil company listen and take simply order from indigenous people of the land. The land and the resources does not belong to the foreign oil company who think that they can give deaf ears to orders given to them by the indigenous militant who own land. Nigeria is an expired country. Foreign oil Company should pack out of the area period.
