BIAFRA AND THE HYPOCRISY OF THE YORUBA NATION

BIAFRA AND THE HYPOCRISY OF THE YORUBA NATION
As a mark of respect, Yorubas bows before their King

My reason of being here is not to stage a fight with Yoruba nation as that runs contrary to my style of life. I have a good number of the Yorubas as my friends whom I accord due respect. But be that as it may, I cannot continue to keep silent over some burning issues as maintaining sealed lips at such times, becomes evil and betrayal of good conscience.

Nnamdi Kanu bows to Papa Alex Ekweme
Since the videos and snap shots of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu started trending in the internet domain, Igbos and the family members of the indigenous people of  Biafra (IPOB), have severally come under attacks by the Yoruba people and I have been curiously questioning the rationale behind such bitter actions out of which centre mainly on why should the Igbos be kneeling down before Nnamdi Kanu. If there is any other group of persons in Nigeria raising such spurious verbal attacks, it shouldn't be from the Yorubas whose tradition permits ostensibly, prostration before their elders, senior compatriots, kings, inlaws and leaders, their location and age, not withstanding. Every Yoruba man is by cultural injunction , expected to do obeisance while greeting.

But its rather unfortunate that the same Yorubas known for their uncompromising love for this prostrating respect to their people, would now hypocritically turn around and be crying wolf over a woman who knelt down before Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in her greeting. By the way who is Nnamdi Kanu? This is a born Prince in a royal family in Biafraland. He has royal blood flowing in his veins. He is a king in the making in his community. So can it be justifiably said that it is an error for a personality in his calibre, to receive such a respect just because some people are envious and full of hatred for a thing they know nothing about? If it is right for a Yoruba man to prostrate before a pauper, is it not then most honorable for Biafrans to gesticulate or kneel before their own Prince?

IPOB activists showed respect to IPOB leader by kneeling down
It yet beats my imagination the real reasons behind the hatred the Yorubas have against the emergence of Biafra unlike my understanding of Hausa-Fulanis venting their !anger against Biafrans. Can it be said therefore, that the hatred of the Yorubas against Biafrans, stem from their colossal gains from the marginalisation and oppression of the Igbos and their brothers in Nigeria? Or could it be that the emergence of a Biafran nation will truncate the lopesided business fortunes presently being recorded from Lagos as against sea ports in Warri, Port Harcourt, Ugwuta, Opobo, Onitsha, Calabar and Eket. Are they scared of the termination of the wicked and oppressive monopoly Lagos is now enjoying over other sea ports wittingly rendered effectively redundant by the Nigerian state? Can it be correctly judged that the Yorubas are complicit with the marginalisation of the old Eastern region (Biafraland)? Are the Yorubas in alliance with Hausa-Fulanis to enslave and impoverish the people of the South-south and South-east in the evil concoction called Nigeria? Are they worried and afraid that the billions of US dollars  that they garner will seize in the event of their unexpected?

Can the Yorubas be threatening the Igbos in the 21st century even in 2017 with another war simply because they said they abhor being part of the British contraption anymore? How really do the Yorubas feel when reminding the Igbos of events of the civil war in 1967? Could it be also that there is a sinister plot by the Yorubas and their Hausa-Fulani collaborators to invade the South-south and South-east regions citing instances with the genocidal events of Asaba massacre? They told us that we won't see 20 pounds to survive with. They boast to us how many Awolowos they have that will detonate another atomic bomb to annihilate Biafrans. They tell us how they will kill more than 2 million children of Biafra.

It is pertinent here therefore, to remind the Yorubas floating the above gospel that this is 2017 and not 1967, in case they may have forgotten. The truth remains that the coalition that prosecuted the 1967-1970 civil war, is no longer here with us and even if the evil coalition of the Yorubas and the Hausa-Fulanis still exist, and plot to go to war against the South-south and South-east, the middle belt region who are predominantly Christians with redefined ideology and mindset like their Biafran compatriots, it would be exceptionally impossible to woo them. A simple psychology about today's Nigeria, confirms the fact that Nigeria doesn't have the capacity for another civil war.
People lie flat to show respect to a Yoruba king

The world led by the British in 1967, erroneously tagged Biafrans rebels because of the British media propaganda network,    whereas Biafrans were waging a defensive war of attrition against their enemies who invaded them. This snowballed from the killings of Biafrans in Kano who then still came to the Biafran domain to wreck havoc. Note that the lies of yesteryears can never thrive in our time of ICT.

The effect of the combined military forces of Russia and Egypt particularly led by the British will not easily be wished away. Even the silence of America then was a plus to the Yorubas and their cronies. You firmly enjoyed all that you can count in 1967 but not anymore this time around.

Biafrans are indisputably peace loving, friendly and resilient breed of humans. And that is why with the deluge of provocations from the Nigeria government, they have  remained peaceful and unscathed. There has not been any record of retaliation, destruction or death attributable to Biafrans even when thousands of unarmed innocent Biafran protesters who were legitimately exercising their fundamental rights were decimated by the Boko Haramic, Hausa-Fulani infested Nigeria military and police. Confirmed reports of Amnesty International attest to these facts of calculated orgy of violence meted out against the IPOB.

Biafrans still believe unrepentantly in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu commands without prevarication.

We demand therefore, for Biafra Referendum which is a UN approved and recognised template of self determination for oppressed indigenous people groups around the world. This in no way connotes asking for war. Scotland demanded for referendum and it was granted. Britain the arch supporter of evil in Nigeria never went to war with the Scots.

We want to in unmistakeable terms, sound it loud and clear that nothing absolutely, will truncate our quest for the restoration of our fatherland, Biafra. No amount of threat or propaganda will stop us from getting Biafra.

It is settled, sealed and delivered !

Biafra is our Identity!!

All hail Biafra!!!

  1. Please forgive them, it is jealousy. Do you know how sad people will be when Biafra starts self governing and become the next big thing in this world, exporting goods to the whole of Africa and beyond. Please forgive them, it is envy

  2. Kneeling down for our Messiah Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the least and let it be known that many of us die hards are ever ready to die for him with just a phone call from him.
