BIAFRA: MY EXPERIENCE ON MAY 30th, 2017 IPOB SIT AT HOME

BIAFRA: MY EXPERIENCE ON MAY 30th, 2017  IPOB SIT AT HOME

My niece (name withheld) came back from school on May 26th, 2017 being Friday and told me that they were asked not to come to school on  May 29th and 30th, 2017 (Monday and Tuesday respectively). When I demanded to know why, she said "Our Teacher told us that May 29th, is the Nigeria's democracy day while May 30th, is the Biafra Arm Forces remembrance day and this year has been declared 'Sit At Home' by IPOB under the watch of Nnamdi Kanu" I was astonished! Because she is a student of a government owned school.

On yearly basis after the Nigerian government in coalition with the British government committed genocide on Biafrans, May 30th, has been set aside by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through her able leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, to remember and honor over 3.5 million  Biafran heroes and heroines who were victims of the war.

However, knowing how important the day will be, I armed myself with my media gadget, mount on my bike and set for fact finding mission on the early hours of Tuesday May 30th, 2017.
I drove from Ogidi to head bridge Onitsha. When I got there, it was as silence as a grave yard, empty and deserted. During my 25minutes drive from Ogidi to Onitsha, I did not pass more than five cars, not to talk of tricycle or even motorcycle, it was only three Hilux vans which was loaded with the Nigerian police and was on patrol.

The road was so empty that some boys were seen playing football on the highway. Schools both government and private  owned were I passed were all shut down while majority of all the Commercial Banks and Local Government Area headquarters that got my attention were not left out as the establishments were also closed down.

The textile and drug market located at the bridge head  was locked up.  The popular Electronics Market, opposite Premier Brewery along Enugu Onitsha express way, which is the second  largest Electronics Market in Nigeria after Alaba International market was  also under lock and keys. Only the local security men (Vigilante) were seen patrolling around the multi complex market.
Coming down to the popular and ever busy Upper Iweka motor park, no one was sighted there,  except those vehicles that were parked by the drivers on the previous days. Passengers were no where to be found, not even a single shop  or  store were opened for business, because Biafrans were all at home observing the May 30th, 2017 'Sit At Home' in remembrance and honor of their fallen heroes and heroines as ordered by Nnamdi Kanu the leader of IPOB.

I drove down to New Spare Parts market Nkpor, also known as New parts and it was under lock and keys. Mgbuka Nkpor, New and Old Tyre, and Machine parts market were all shut down. Even the well known Building Materials market located at Ogidi which is the biggest in Nigeria, was under lock and keys as well. This market has more than eight different banks in and around it but non of them were open for business as usual. The biggest market in West Africa,  Onitsha Main Market was under lock and keys and traders remained indoors.

Oh! Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has really educated our people on whom they are. In all the nooks and crannies of Biafra land, Biafrans sat at home not minding what could have been the gain of market transactions on that May 30th, 2017 but complied just to respect and pray for the peaceful repose of the Biafra heroes and heroines that were massacred from 1967 till date, by the Nigerian government with the help of their British collaborators in trying to keep the contraption they created as one.

After some hours of tour and fact findings, I became thirsty and needed something to cool off. I now headed to Shoprite along ABS junction Onitsha and met it locked up and I had no choice than to go back home, knowing that the result I had gathered in places I visited will not be different anywhere around Onitsha Anambra state and in all Biafra land, which was confirmed by all Family Writers correspondents on ground that covered the event.

This to me is a clear indication that Biafra has been restored.

Thanks to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Thanks to IPOB.
Thanks to Family Writers Press.
Thanks to all Biafrans.
For a successful 'SIT AT HOME'

  1. Big big, thanks to our people for total compliance. It has shamed all out enemies. They are now scared and ashamed. The people who used to talk boldly whist my Igbo brother kept quiet are the ones now quiet whilst my people have now found their voices in Lagos and everywhere. For the first time since 1970 I see our people working with their heads held high. Those who usedvto come ti my people talking loud with ethnic sentiments whilst my proplr were
too intimidated to talk are now ashamed and quiet whilst my people identify themselves as Biafrans. The name which they stigmatized and turned into a reason for us be ashamed, Biafra, is now the reigning thing. God bless IPOB, Kanu, MASSOB and others. Next step is to consider this August. We need to penetrate the villages. The August Meeting for women can be packaged to great effect. Supposing we have a Biafra August meeting for women. No rallies: just the usual meeting but with focus on Bofra and what women can do to spread the word and indoctrinate their kids. Thinks about that.
