RESPONSE TO SOUTH EAST PEOPLES ASSEMBLY

RESPONSE TO SOUTH EAST PEOPLES ASSEMBLY

By Ekwenye Samuel
For Family Writers.

Our attention has been drawn to a letter written by a faceless member of an obscure group(the South East Peoples Assembly, SEPA) known as Mr Ikechukwu Nnochiri and which was published by the Daily Post Nigeria and Vanguard news requesting that the newly appointed Chief justice of the Nigeria Federal High Court Abuja should as a matter of urgency, revoke Nnamdi Kanu's bail for violating the conditions attached to his bail terms.

Now I want to first of all let these state sponsored agents know that Nnamdi Kanu has not violated any of his bail  conditions. Nnamdi Kanu who was arrested on the 14th day of October 2015,  after spending close to 2 years in prison was released on April 25, 2017 based on his deteriorating health issues. The conditions amongst others are that he(Nnamdi Kanu) is prohibited from
*rallying, granting of interview, or being in a crowd of more than 10 people.

Now I want to state it categorically that most of the challenges we experience in this struggle for freedom comes from the so called politicians in Biafra land, the political puppets controlled by the Hausa-Fulani oligarchs.

Yes, the conditions as enlisted by Mr Ikechukwu Nnochiri  were attached to Nnamdi Kanu's bail, but none of it has been violated and neither is Nnamdi Kanu planning to violate any.
After his release, Nnamdi Kanu embarked on individual visits, which he also visited governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State. None of these visits including the ones people visited him has up to ten people  present. Has any person seen Nnamdi Kanu granting Interview to journalists? No. Nnamdi Kanu has never asked or answered any question to a journalist. Since he was released, no rallying has been held; so what do Mr Ikechukwu Nnochiri and his SEPA actually mean for mentioning these conditions as been violated by Nnamdi Kanu?

Yes, the May 30th Biafra heroes day SIT AT HOME remembrance was ordered by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu right from the Kuje prison many months before his release and announced on air on Radio Biafra.  It was not initiated after his release.

Though, its quite clear that when we were busy creating awareness about the May 30 event, the politicians were busy opposing us. For the fact that their orders that every business activities will not be put to a halt on May 30th were disobeyed by the Biafrans whose hearts had been longing for Biafra, as both civil servants, business men, women and youths sat at home, crippling the economic activities in Biafraland. This is the main reason why the South East Peoples Assembly issued the letter because the sit at home had a negative impact on their personal incomes on the very day it was observed.

This sit at home ordered by Nnamdi Kanu and obeyed by Biafrans across Biafraland is a clear prove that 95% of Biafrans wants the freedom of Biafra. If 95% of 100% wants something, what right do 5% of 100% has to speak any word for or against the majority. SEPA which is minority has no such rights to request for the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigeria government, therefore such a letter should be trashed.

According to Mr Ikechukwu Nnochiri, Nnamdi Kanu is trying to push Nigeria into a precarious situation for his personal agenda; this also is a very big lie.
The truth remains that Nigerian government and the insensitive citizens like Ikechukwu and his obscure SEPA  are the one messing up themselves and thereby, pushing Nigeria as a failed entity into precarious situations. He who hates blood shed prays against it, but those who loves it prays for war.
Ever since Kanu took leadership of Biafra, he has not for a day done something contradictory to the rule of law in Nigeria. He came with peace but Nigeria rather, chose violence over it. It is as simple as "give me Biafra and go with your Nigeria".  More detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will never have any negative impact towards the restoration of Biafra, but will generate another outburst of crisis from all angles of Nigeria, and which is capable of bringing Nigeria down to zero efficiency.
