AN OGONI SON -NWITORKPA YEEZOR,   LEADS A NEWLY INAUGURATED IPOB FAMILY IN IGWEOCHA

It was an epoch making event of its kind on Thursday 29th of March 2018, as a new family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) got inaugurated with funfare in Rumuomoi/Rumuorosi, Rumuigbo. It was really eventful as series of historical facts were laid bare before the teaming members that converged at the venue of the inauguration. Tutorials on the genesis of the IPOB family worldwide, seeking courageously the full and total restoration of the sovereignty of the Biafran nation was articulately delivered by Mazi Wachukwu, the Rivers East Senatorial Coordinator. He emphatically stated that the Igweocha IPOB family is assiduously exploring all avenues that will fully entrench truth that has so far eluded our people in this contrapted enclave called Nigeria. A place where speaking the truth is contrived as treasonable felony or outright treason, is to say the least, abominable.

The Senatorial Coordinator took his time to give analytical  range of benefits derivable to Ikwerre, Ogoni, Ijaw amongst other tribes in the so-called South-South region in a fully restored Biafran nation. Mazi Wachukwu who himself is a bonafide indigenous Biafran from Ikwerre extraction, lamented the "divide and rule" tactics which has been used as a veritable tool to hypnotise and divide brethren of the same family over the years by the Hausa-Fulani cum their Yoruba fellow oppressors. He maintained that realistically, there exists no fundamental problem between the Ikwerres and their Igbo brethren outside the psychological warfare implanted in their midst by the enemies. He posited that while the Ikwerre man sees the Igbo man as his enemy who has come to exert domination, the Igbo man sees his Ikwerre brother as an enemy that has usurped his property which is commonly being referred as "abandoned property". He said that this fictitious enmity was a diversionary mind game of division planted amongst brothers and sisters. And while they are busy contending against one another, the Hausa-Fulanis and the Yorubas (oppressors) steadily dig in, siphoning the resources (crude oil and gas) God naturally endeared them with. Mazi Wachukwu thereby called on all, to rise up and fight against this imposition of slavery. Drawing the attention of the brethren more practically, he gave graphic examples with the evolving trend of injustice within this part of Biafraland where indigenes work as security guards, cleaners, gardeners and ad-hoc labourers and the Hausa-Fulanis and the Yorubas are their superiors even in their fatherland.

The Senatorial Coordinator urged all the family members to get fully committed to the course, emphasising that there exists no dichotomy between the Ikwerres, Ogonis, Ijaws, Igbos and other tribes within Biafraland as they share the same ancestry. We must win our indolent brethren over into this struggle of Biafra restoration, a nation when fully and totally restored, will be justice, peace, equity and human rights epitomized. Every province will unfetteredly and judiciously manage it's resources to the betterment of the citizens, with just only a figment of tax paid to the central government. The time to kill and bury this evil called division in our midst, has dawned. I talk to my people of Ikwerre, Ogoni, Ijaw amongst others, to embrace Biafra. We should get ourselves extricated from fear and effects of lies/deception and fight for our freedom.

In his reaction, the Coordinator of the newly inaugurated zone, Mr. Nwitorkpa Yeezor, an Ogoni son, expressed satisfaction and joy to the IPOB family and members of the Rumuomoi/Rumuorosi - Rumuigbo zone and thank them for the honor of leadership handed over to him. He promised to keep tenaciously, to the tenets of the Constitution of the Indigenous People of Biafra. "I will fight this battle with my last blood", he stressed. Mr. Nwitorkpa Yeezor tasked his executive members on the needed cooperation and commitment, pointing out that the Biafra restoration project has no room for selfish or clandestine agenda. He promised unreserved resoluteness and support to the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his deputy, Mazi Uche Mefor. The Zonal Coordinator further assured the family of his efforts to carry the gospel of Biafra restoration to the nooks and crannies of Ogoniland.

The executive members also pledged their total support and loyalty to the leadership of Mr. Nwitorkpa Yeezor, the Coordinator of the newly inaugurated zone.

The inauguration was graced with official acceptance and admission of new members into the family.
