BIAFRA: CONSULTING "CHUKWUOKIKE ABIAMA" AND AWAKENING THE SPIRITS OF BIAFRAN FALLEN HEROES/HEROINES
A cross section of Obio/Akpor Area 1 Elders Council in Igweocha - Biafraland, under the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Tuesday 28th May 2019, carried out a very tremendously significant LIBATION EXERCISE in the history of Biafra liberation/restoration struggle.
Leading an important traditional prayer process, was the Elders Council Chairman, elder Uche Nwachukwu who prophetically stood in for "Eke" market day. Elder Nnamdi Charles Enekwechi standing in as Biafra first son (Anambra), represented "Orie" market day, elder Sambo Anietie stood in for "Nkwo" market day while elder Worlu (an Ihuruoha indigene), represented "Afor" market day. Armed with kola nuts and drinks, they all respectively poured out their hearts in prayers through various Biafran indigenous languages for the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, his deputy, Mazi Uche Mefor, all IPOB principal officers, global family members and for the imminent/unfettered restoration of the sovereignty of the nation of Biafra. The spirits of all Biafran heroes and heroines gruesomely killed over time by successive Nigerian governments, were given the mandate of bringing to justice, all the enemies of Biafra. It is noteworthy to state here that this libation exercise is being carried out on monthly bases by these elders within Obio/Akpor Area 1. The month of May edition was so significantly planned and conducted to coincide with this 2019 Heroes and Heroines Memorial Activities, according to the Elders Council Chairman, Elder Uche Nnwachukwu.
It was colourfully rounded up with conference calls on Radio Biafra Extra live broadcast by the elders which was effectively moderated by the Area 1 Elders Council Secretary/Media Head, Elder Onyemachi Peters. They passionately and individually spoke in their own dialects to Biafrans both within and in the diaspora, to ensure that this upcoming commemoration slated for Thursday 30th May 2019, is a worthwhile experience.
Biafrans particularly resident in Biafraland, were enjoined to unreservedly boycott in honor and respect, all activities by observing the "Sit-At-Home" order as declared by the IPOB leadership.
The sacrifices/virtues of the fallen heroes and heroines, as well as that of the IPOB leadership and family members who have pricelessly laid down their lives that we may live, were exceptionally eulogised.
Signing off, the Elders Council Secretary/Media Head, elder Onyemachi Peters heartily appreciated the IPOB leadership for the tremendous achievements so far recorded towards the Biafra restoration and enjoined all family members globally, never to relent. He equally thanked the Radio Biafra Extra Anchor, Mazi George Onyeibe for the opportunity and privilege accorded them as elders from this part of Igweocha in Biafraland, to easily reach out to the global community.
