MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING OF IPOB FAMILY OGINIGBA ZONE, IGWEOCHA PROVINCE IN BIAFRALAND




The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Oginigba Family Zone in Igweocha Province of Biafraland, under the global leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, held her monthly general meeting on Saturday 10th August 2019. The zonal deputy coordinator, Mazi Ambrose Ochiemu accorded members warm welcome following the opening prayer led by Pastor John Gogo.

Veteran (elder) Udechukwu Uwakem Simon gave the exhortation for the day, taking his reference text from the book of Nehemiah from Chapter 1. He briefly gave a narrative on the personality of this examplary biblical character, chosen by God in his days to lay a solid foundation for the final Israelitish journey back home from their captivity in the land of Babylon. He championed the rebuilding process of the city of Jerusalem destroyed by the armies of their captors. Veteran Udechukwu harped on the need for members to imbibe the sterling qualities of humility, obedience, courage, commitment and discipline as epitomised in the life of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He enjoined all to fully take hold of the Biafra restoration mandate being driven by the IPOB leadership.

IPOB oath of allegiance to was solemnly and reflectively re-administered on members to fire up their commitment to the Biafra restoration cause. The zonal deputy coordinator, Mazi Ambrose Ochiemu encouraged all to be up and doing according to stipulated guidelines. He warned against acts of sabotage which of course has dire/corresponding consequences. He cited the  Bible book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12:13-14 in reference.

Reports and suggestions on very relevant issues concerning the zonal women wing as raised by the leader, Mrs. Sandra Ngozi George amongst others from the unit coordinators were equally addressed.

The executive body of IPOB family in unit 2 was dissolved for dereliction of duties and acts of insubordination. New executive was constituted amongst whom are:

* Mazi Christopher Akposeye..... Coordinator
* Engr. Omono Omono..... Deputy Coordinator
* Mazi Joshua Gift Mark... Secretary
* Mrs. Ngozi Udechukwu... Financial Secretary
* Mrs. Kate Victor Kalio.... Treasurer

Mazi Onyekachi Bright Uba, the zonal coordinator, administered the oath of office on them. He advised them to abide by the working principles of the IPOB leadership and warned against acts inimical to the Biafra restoration struggle within their unit and the zone.

On behalf of the newly constituted executive, the coordinator, Mazi Christopher Akposeye thanked the house for finding them worthy of appointment and promised they will never betray the confidence reposed in them.

The meeting eventually adjourned at 6:55pm with a closing prayer said by Mazi Ambrose Ochiemu.
