Response to BILIE on IPOB

Response to BILIE on IPOB

It is good to know that, of every other written in this article, it is only the part on “Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)” that our friend has issues with. Well, his story was of what took place when Radio Biafra was in partnership with BILIE, and as such the sign-board belonged to all.

Then, IPOB was just descriptive of the people inhabiting Biafraland. Even Nigeria did not accept this in court; they said there was nothing like indigenous people of Biafra. So IPOB was neither a political movement nor a legal body then. But my article is about when IPOB became a political movement and a legal body. This had nothing to do with BILIE and its so-called Council of Elders.

Put differently, after the collapse of the partnership between Radio Biafra and BILIE, the two groups chose their parts and pursued it. Radio Biafra took the part of political action and BILIE chose the part of hobnobbing with Nigerian government. Now, because Nnamdi Kanu and his group have taken the Biafra struggle off the ground, BILIE is now struggle to reap where they did not sow.

Without mincing words, it was Radio Biafra and its followers that made IPOB a political movement and a legal body. They were the ones that registered it as a legal body in many countries of the world, and also at the United Nations, while BILIE and its Council of elders pursued contracts and political appointments from Nigerian government.  It was after Radio Biafra and its followers had formed IPOB as a political group and registered it in countries of the world that BILIE started trumpeting its Council of Elders as leaders of IPOB and leaders of Biafra government.

Well, there is nothing like Biafra government, Biafrans never voted in any group or chosen them one. BILIE should stop deceiving the people. How can they form a government? Has the Nigeria court and law they went to mandated them to form one?

  1. Dozie Ikedife should behave like an elder and stop following these lairs. As an old man he should be able to the TRUTH at this stage or is he being blinded by the peanut they are getting from Buhari to destabilise the good work IPOB WORLDWIDE is doing towards Biafra restoration. Time will tell
