LIFE OF JUDGE WHO ORDERED FOR NNAMDI KANU'S RELEASE AT RISK, AS BUHARI'S WIND OF TYRANNY SWOOPS NIGERIAN JUDICIARY

For Family Writers

According to veritable information gathered by Family Writers, the Nigerian government led by an unrepentant dictator and former military Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, have launched a massive swoop and clamp down Judges who had on different occasions given court injunctions that are unfavourable to the government.
The information revealed that the lives of some fearless Nigerian Judges are in serious danger, as their names have topped the list of Judges to be hounded by the Nigerian government.

This is even as several Senior Judges in the Nigerian Judiciary have been abducted from their various residence across different states of the country by the Nigerian Department of State Security, DSS, on the late hours of yesterday, October 7, 2016.

One of the unfortunate Judges to be uprooted by this outburst of tyranny is Hon. Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court Abuja.
The residence of the High Court Judge, alongside his counterpart,  Hon. Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, located at Apo Legislative Quarters in Abuja were on Friday night besieged by scores of highly equipped agents of DSS.

The family members of the two judges were reportedly beaten and harassed by the security agents in an attempt to break into their homes. The siege which lasted through Saturday morning saw the abduction of Justice Ademola by the security agents.

Justice Ademola, who had on December 17, 2015 ordered for an unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu from the DSS dungeon, is due to hear case filed by Nnamdi Kanu's legal team led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor against the Nigerian government for contempt of court proceedings. The information gathered by Family Writers revealed that the Nigerian sit of power has been deeply unsettled over the recent move of Kanu's Lawyers, hence the desperate attempt to get rid of Mr. Ademola and prevent him from hearing the case, unless he agrees to dance to the tune of the federal government.

Similarly, Justice Dimgba had recently ruled against the continued incarceration of an Air Commodre, Mohammed Umar who is being investigated for illegal possession of firearms, fraud and abuse of trust; a ruling which did not go down well with the Nigerian government.

Meanwhile, not less than seven Judges have been arrested by the DSS across Nigeria.
A failed abduction of a High Court Judge in Rivers state whose name remains undisclosed, led to the brutal mal-handling of the incumbent Governor of the state, Barr. Nyesom Wike who was trying to the stop the impunitious clamp down on the Chief Judge, according to the governor, the DSS agents threatened to shoot him if he fails to allow them carry out their operation.
“Not under my watch will I allow this kind of impunity to take place,” the governor stated.

“I don’t know which judge they were detailed to abduct. I didn’t bother myself to know which judge. All I am interested in is that, at this level, it is not allowed.

“He is not a criminal and he is not an armed robber. If the person has committed an offence, invite him. It is only when he refuses to honour the invitation that you can adopt this commando style.

“The Commissioner of Police is here, the Director of DSS is here. Their operatives cocked their guns and threatened to shoot me. I have never seen that before. Again, this is to tell you what we are facing. We know that more will come. For us in this state, we shall continue to resist it,
“It doesn’t matter what it will cost. When you talk about liberty, sacrifices must be made. We are not trying to stop an arrest. All we are saying is that things must be done decently and in line with the rule of law.
“Rivers State is under siege. For you to see a governor out at this time of the day, something is wrong. A siege is an understatement. If this type of thing happens next time, the people will resist it to the last.” he said.
