PAUL UNONGO AND THE OHANEZE STANCE IN THE THREAT TO RE-ARREST KANU: THE CRY OF A LEADER THAT WATCHED WHILE HIS AGATU PEOPLE WERE RAPED, MAIMED, AND KILLED

Paul Unongo is the leader of Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF). He is the same person that worked with Nnamdi Azikiwe  in the 80s. He and Pa Zik were members of NPP. He  attempted to become Governor of Benue State in 1983, but was stopped by those he courts today. It is also on record that his younger brother domiciled overseas, who flew in to lend support to his ambition, was killed by those he wines and dines with today. Today, he prides himself as leader of the same people that not only stopped him from realizing his dream but also went a step further sending his well-to-do younger brother to early grave. How Unongo manages to sleep at night knowing that the culprits in the killing of his brother walk as free men is strange. He may not be able to bring them all to justice, but what makes us wince and grimace is the fact that he tends to be on the same page with those he should be wary of. Does the life of the deceased, someone that had left whatever lucrative business he was engaged in outside the shores of Nigeria to assist him, mean nothing to Unongo? What manner of elder is he who cares less for life!

Unongo, having failed to adequately mourn his brother whose demise was caused by his inordinate ambition, watched with unbelievable satisfaction as Fulani herdsmen went on rampage in the Agatu part of his state, Benue. The bloodletting herdsmen ransacked Agatu for a very long period, killing, raping, and destroying properties belonging to indigenous farmers and villages, without any intervention from the state and federal governments. One wonders why a voice like that of Unongo’s was never loud enough to be heard; why his wrists were too numb to scribble down protests; and why his body language in that regard became nonexistent. Where was Unongo, a supposed leader, when Agatu women were ravaged mercilessly by these savages called herdsmen? Where was he when villages were violently invaded and villagers sent scampering for dear lives? Is he so impervious and withdrawn from the welfare of his siblings and community that he tends to smile when they cry; celebrate when they mourn; and rejoice when they sulk? Who made him leader? Who does Unongo lead? Benue people or the core North? Where lies his fealty? Is it the development of Benue State or that of the core North? What is Unongo’s actual primary constituency? Is it Benue State that is being pillaged or the core North? I am wont to conclude that Paul Unongo is a CONTEMPORARY SLAVE TO THE CORE NORTH. Any leader that functions as one in servility is a gloried SLAVE. Unongo has become the mouthpiece of the same core North that is responsible for the underdevelopment of Benue State.

Unongo, the gloried slave to the core North, suddenly found his lost voice when Ohaneze, under the able leadership of Prof. Nnia Nwodo, cautioned the Federal Government of Nigeria against re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu. For Nwodo’s Ohaneze, the move by the Attorney-General of Nigeria to have the Court revoke the bail granted to Nnamdi Kanu is an act in bad fate, for it shows that the like of Unongo is happy that Nigeria operates a cabal-based society, where the welfare of the common man is not important. It is apropos to find out from this devious fellow what Mazi Nnamdi Kanu crime is that warrants re-arrest. What is the justification of Unongo’s condemnation of Ohaneze’s people-oriented stance on the unlawfulness of any attempt to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu? Unongo should tell us why Ohaneze should be pleased that whilst Kanu, their son, is to be unlawfully re-arrested, the miscreants that constitute the violent group referred to as AREWA Youths and Elders operate as free men. If he had any human sympathy in him that makes him a sentient being, how come he lost his voice when the Federal Government of Nigeria detained the object of his baseless scorn and malice unlawfully? Or is this Benue slave trying to tell us that he does not know that it is wrong for any democratic enclave, such as Nigeria, to detain an accused for ne’er two years without proper trial? We can see why this man has not bothered to dispense with the needed sympathy for the brutality meted out to his Benue people by the bloodthirsty members of Myetti Allah group called Fulani herdsmen. It is also clear why he is the today’s leader of Northern Elders, for it is an indubitable fact that the North make use of those that have been conquered. Anyone that entertains a modicum of doubt should ask the likes of Orji Uzor Kalu, Willie Obiano, and Rochas Okorocha.

In furtherance of my angst, I am bemused that this Unongo maintained, and still does, sealed lips and numb fingers when the AREWA group externalized a letter threatening to forcibly evict Igbo people from the entire North. The group, it has come to our knowledge, has the backing of northern elders, and our Unongo cannot extricate himself from complicity in this matter. Perhaps he is unhappy that the actual intention behind the QUIT NOTICE has not elicited the desired result, as Igbo people domiciled in the northern part of Nigeria have remained unperturbed. There is, therefore, no gainsaying that Paul Unongo is one of the masked fellows behind the outburst by AREWA Youths. His criminal silence via-a-vis the threat by the AREWA youths betrays his surreptitious hatred for the Igbo. I think Benue people should begin to see this self-acclaimed leader of theirs as the enemy in the hood. Unongo, I dare say, is the enemy within; the real reason the core North treat Benue people with disdain. Of course, a man whose brother was killed because of his ambition but that does not show any sign of remorse for such loss is living at a very debased level. Unongo is a lesser human. He is one of those indigenes in our societies that are ready to trade the rights of the people for personal gains that do not have impact on the generality of the people.

I have come to understand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has struck these sellouts so hard that they find him “distasteful”. For the like of Unongo, Kanu should be re-arrested so that he can be at peace with himself. Unlike him, however, our Ohaneze group know quite well that Kanu is not the problem but the solution and have made a U-turn. For the repentant Ohaneze, it is someone like Kanu that is needed to stem the ugly tide of continuous oppression of the peoples of the East and down South. Thanks to Unongo for telling Ohaneze what he thinks is their supposed action, but his piece of advice is not needed. He should note that Ohaneze is an independent organization that operate outside the dictates of Northern Elders Forum. This traitor called Unongo should have known that his misadventure is ultra vires. He is in no vantage position to dish out advice to a group which operation is outside his jurisdiction. He has failed to influence the action of AREWA youths. I just wonder what makes him think he can play advisory role in the activities of Ohaneze. I think the death of his younger brother still begs for justice. When will he align himself to the demands of his people in Benue? When will Unongo exude attributes that make him more of Benue than core North? Why has he decided to become restless over the liberating activities of the hero of our time, Nnamdi Kanu? What makes this nincompoop think that further arrest of Nnamdi Kanu will not lead to chaos unamigined? Let it be made known to whomever cares to listen that any attempt to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu will meet very stiff and violent resistance from well-meaning occupants of Nigeria’s geographical space. Need I remind this nitwit that the international community have been put on notice that whatever happens to our hero will be on their shoulders? We, the peace-loving and law abiding members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are watching with rapt attention. We have noticed how quiet Nigerian government is about the criminal activities of Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram, and AREWA Youths. We are also privy to the clear case of discrimination enshrined in Buhari’s distinction between 97% and 5% without the needed condemnation by the generality of Nigerians and the National Assembly. Finally, we are not out of touch with the numerous disobedience to Court orders, including the two cases of disobedience of Court orders that freed Nnamdi Kanu from the judiciary ropes. All these atrocities and anomalies were not bad enough to give voice to Paul Unongo. Shame on him! He and Nigeria cannot re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu on the basis of frivolous and unacceptable bail conditions. Our leader, Prince Nnamdi Kanu, the Ohamadike I of Biafraland, is not a lower animal.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is too exposed to kowtow to such bail conditions. In the first place, Unongo should tell us what crime Kanu committed. Why should there be such bail conditions when it is lucid that all the serious charges leveled against him had fallen like a pack of cards when tested for judicial admissibility? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu shall continue to walk like the free man he is. He has not committed any crime. Those that rape, destroy villages, and kill unarmed villages and farmers have not been prosecuted. Yes, those that shot at unarmed peaceful Biafra protesters still walk as free men. We all know that those that killed Shia sect in the name of empowering Sunni to Islamize Nigeria have not been prosecuted. Finally, who does not know that those that brutally exterminated a man and woman in the North for no other reason other than that they worshiped God as Christians still walk free? Now, if these criminals are treated as princes and princesses just because they come from the North, someone should tell me why Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the peacemaker and superman of our time, should not be treated as thin god?  This hare-brained Unongo should tell us why his hatred for the progressive Igbo nation has not brought salvation to his Benue people. It is OK to be a fool, but it is abominable to be an aged fool. Paul Unongo is an aged fool!

Since the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the ever relentless Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), there has been serious disquietness in the Nigerian seat of power amid the dictatorial and tyrannical tendencies of the Muhammadu Buhari's led Nigerian government. The agitation for Biafra independence became an international phenomenon due to the acute hatred and despotic nature of the incumbent president of Nigeria which led to the illegal arrest and unlawful incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra. After his abduction by the Nigerian government through the Gestapo DSS, he was held incommunicado in an underground cell and was taken to a magistrate court in Abuja where he was aquitted of all charges and discharged, but the Nigerian government flaunted the order of the court. The Nigerian government continued holding him and later took him to federal high court Abuja and levied bogus and frivolous charges against him. It took roughly two years for the Nigerian government to release Kanu on bail after they fragrantly disobeyed several court rulings ordering his unconditional release from detention. It is worthy to note that those bail conditions are not just inhumane, stringent, overlashing but also unconstitutional. Therefore, any bail condition that infringes the fundamental human rights of individuals must be condemned and challenged. It should be recalled that many Nigerian judges washed off their hands on the same case between Nnamdi Kanu and the Nigerian government on the bases that, unless the previous court rulings  are carried out or obeyed, they had no moral right to preside over the same case because their rulings might be circumvented if not in favour of the powers that be, hence might not stand such miscarriage of justice or to even face  humiliation afterwards. However, after the heroic withdrawal from the case by the judges, the case was gifted to an Hausa Fulani woman, Justice Binta Nyako who is a puppet doing the bidding of the Muhammadu Buhari's government.

During the unlawful incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, millions of Biafrans thronged the streets of Biafraland demanding the unconditional release of their leader as ordered by several courts of competent jurisdiction, that the Nigerian government flaunted with impunity which also contradicts the constitution of Nigeria. Thousands of unarmed peaceful Biafran protesters were openly shot at and gruesomely killed by the Nigerian security forces, just for exercising their constitutional right to protest as a way of airing their disaffection or registering their grievances and frustration of government dealings in a democratic dispensation. Up until now, no one has been held accountable for such massacre. Furthermore, there are marauding Fulani herdsmen masquerading as cow rearers, invading towns and cities of Biafraland and embarking on mindless rape of young and old women, unwarranted butchery of people and wanton destruction of property. Yet, the Nigerian government has not arrested or prosecuted any of them for the sake of justice.

There is now continous secret abduction of Biafran youth by the combined team of Nigerian security forces in Biafraland while feigning ignorance to the genocidal activities of the Fulani herdsmen and the Boko haram terrorists which had since been decleared the fourth and first world most deadly terror groups respectively, as designated by the World Terror Index. This illicit abduction has continued in different parts of Biafraland which has now made Biafran youths to live in fear at the mercy of the Nigerian security apparatus and have also become a money making venture for those men in khaki.

However, I want use this medium to put the World on notice, on the inhuman treatment being metted on Biafrans by the Nigerian government and their security apparatus on daily bases. While Arewa and Fulani herdsmen freely move in the streets intimidating and killing people, unarmed Biafrans are being abducted in their various homes, business areas and even in the streets while walking. Which other marginalization is the world expecting before coming to the rescue of Biafrans hence, Biafrans will continue to face humiliation and total extermination.

There are Arewa youths in the North issuing threats and genocidal quite notice ultimatum calling for the massive killing of Biafrans resident in Northern Nigeria if they fail to vacate their region on or before 1st October, here are people shouting Nigeria is indivisible but hypocritically operates a parallel system of government up North, with their private security apparatus called Hisbah sharia police and on the hand have sharia law which is operational in almost all Northern states against the generally accepted common law prevalent in other regions of the contrapted Nigerian state. Undoubtedly, the Arewa youth forum that made the infamous Kaduna declaration did that in collaboration with the Northern and Arewa elders hence, their choice of venue for such a call which can not happen without the direct permission of the government of Kaduna state. As far as the quit notice to Biafrans by Arewa youths remained uncondermned by the Nigerian government and no disciplinary action carried out on them, then the Nigerian government has no moral right arresting and detaining Biafrans who are exercising their rights to self determination without violent.

Recently, the Nigerian government through the office of the Attorney General of the federation, called for the revoke and re-arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on the ground that he flaunted his bail conditions. Apparently, such bail conditions are not meant for humans and are unconstitutional. What moral right has the Nigerian government and the Attorney General, who never condemned or arrested the Arewa youth that issued the treasonous quit notice to Biafrans, to make such call? Unless those Arewa youths are arrested and prosecuted, Nnamdi Kanu can not be rearrested because such quit notice by Arewa youths is more treasonous compared to the alleged treasonable felony against Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian government without any forensic evidence to substantiate such claim till now. Therefore, such a call must be resisted.

Finally, the forthcoming gubernatorial election billed to take place in Anambra state on 18th November, 2017, must be boycotted by all Biafrans resident in the state.

It is preponderant to discern the fact that, Nigeria the speculated Giant of Africa, is now irrefutably  an apparition of the 21st century. The comical Giant of Africa exhibits undoubted characteristics of a dwarf entity in every facet and frame of reference, that no ingenious and discerning mind can refute.

It is only in a dwarf country, that a sitting  President absconds  with an undisclosed ailment, from an office that was renovated sequel to his swearing in, only to show up with fallacious excuse of 'rodent invasion'; and worsestill,  the government has even budgeted 4.9bn for environmental sanitation, whilst workers are denied salaries. Not even an exact of minimum wage is being paid, while pensioners are dying of heart attacks, as a result of destitution and indigence.


Furthermore, despite the large production of Coal in Enugu State, Ikere Gorge Dam in Oyo State, Bakolori Dam in Sokoto, Kanji Dam in Niger State, Shiroro Hydroelectric Power Station in Niger State and several other source of electricity generation, Nigeria suffers the most devastating epileptic and doddery power supply, to the extent that even the so called Nigeria Power Holding Company and Aso Rock Presidential Villa make use of generating sets.
Businesses are frustrated and the economy stagnated.  Emergency solutions to issues are made handicapped, thereby making the livelihood of the average citizenry, rickety and intolerable.


Nigeria operates a petroleum mono-based economy and controls more Oil Blocs, when compared to smaller countries like Kuwait, yet the level of privation and impoverishment, is astonishingly alarming , upon which, she falls into one of the poorest countries in the world.
 Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE, operates same Petroleum-Based economy, yet runs a large government subsidisation which benefits her citizens in every facet of life.
When you circumnavigate to Oil Rich Biafran states; malnourished pregnant mothers and teenagers infected with various ailments are seen everywhere, thereby resulting to an unimaginable increase in mortality rate.

A Dwarf Nation, abandons dilapidated roads also known as death traps, which ruin life and bankrupt the economy. Nigeria have the most precarious road network and drainage system in the world, that shortens the hope of the common man. Flood persistently destroy people's lives and properties, even as fatal accidents and death toll increases, due to this unplanned dwarf drainage system and road networks.

The inability to recite Nigeria Anthem, by Buhari's Ambassadorial nominees, is a clear indication that Nigeria is not only the dwarf of Africa, but also an unexpurgated failed State.
Schools and social amenities are so dilapidated and ramshackled, that pupils and students, are seen sitting on bare floor, to acquire education. The few who beat the poor standard of education with their life savings are bestrewed everywhere, devoid of employment, which compels them to riskily take illegal routes, in search of greener pastures.

The Athletic and Sports section is also a prove of Nigerian's dwarf syndrome and precarious setback. Nigeria Athletes in Rio 2016 Olympic games, were embarrassingly, begging for funds online.
Coach Siasia resigned as the coach of Under- 23 Football Team, as he publicly announced his five months unpaid salaries, in a Country where children of Politicians own expensive private jets.
This is a clear indication that, only insane minds, can still tag Nigeria to be a Giant.


The oil spillage and environmental pollution experienced in various Biafra regions, are intensely disastrous and heartbreaking. The indigenous people are suffering from contamination of water sources with Benzene, high extractable hydrocarbons in the environment, which abuses the World Health Organization guidelines.
High mortality has become a trademark of these regions whose natural resources serves as the main economy base of the country, yet zero effort is put, to halt the contamination which could take decades to eradicate.


The derelict and ramshackled state of Nigeria is so irreparable, that division and the restoration of Biafra, where a confederate system of government will be practiced and the indigenous people of Biafra will be in total control of the resources found in their locality. This stands to be  ascendant and remedy to the Dwarf syndrome of British contraption known as Nigeria.

John Locke's attempt to answer to the personal identity problematique raised some salient points worthy of note. Most of my teeming readers may not have not had a brush with the intellectual flood from this socio-political philosopher. For Locke, what defines a person must capture his character and what he is able to recall. In sum, Locke submits that MEMORY and CHARACTER are the true indices requisite for identity. A person's character (attitude to life, definite ways of doing things, conducts) individualizes him. Regarding memory, it is Locke's position that Mr. A in 1900 is the same person in 2006 if and only if their accounts about their personal experiences coalesce. The passage of time does not take with it one's ability to recall past events, although Locke failed to take the issue of non compus mentis (psychological distortion) into consideration. But memory and character, no doubt, play very vital roles in the identification of a person. Let us see whether someone like Lauretta Onochie will survive a dispassionate philosophical personality examination.

Who is Lauretta Onochie? I had a very fruitful discussion with the Chairman of Ijaw Elders' Council, and one of the high points of the meeting was our agreement that identity crisis is a serious bottleneck on the unity of our sister regions. Being a security czar himself, he told me that the question, Who are you?, is what every indigene from both regions should answer to. Does Lauretta Onochie know who she is? I have a very strong feeling that it will take Lauretta a million (1000,000) years to do justice to that serious question. Using the evaluative scale propounded by John Locke, will the Lauretta Onochie that feasts from the crumbs that fall from Buhari's table be the same person that mothers her children and tends to her husband's inescapable needs? Do not forget that the woman in this association of northerners in power called Federal Government of Nigeria talks like a street girl in her bid to remain servile and conquered. Now, I ask: is this what she teaches her children? Is she the same person in and out of government? Is Lauretta a gloried street girl at home and in bed? I ask because nothing good comes from a street girl. I just wonder how the man puts up with a woman that grows younger on the basis of her nasty and peurile utterances. What moral lessons do the kids learn from an immoral mother? They say he who finds a wife finds a good thing, but I know how "good" she must be to her hubby. Why do I feel that someone somewhere is gnashing his teeth and clenching his fists in exasperation? I am beginning to think that the little Onochies cringe and wry their faces whenever mummy's name is mentioned. Lauretta Onochie seems to be a perplexed personality.

In another vein, she poses serious identity crisis when a critical examination is carried out on her name. A missing link surfaces when the NAME and the NAMED are examined for resemblance. The context of justification reveals that she has been misnamed, since there is no laurel that makes her LAURETTA and no Igboness that makes her ONOCHIE. The name and the named are in divergence. I think she is one of the privileged few Hausa/Fulani women that have managed to be wifed by an Igbo husband. Yes, I see her as a very primitive Hausa lady. Her Igboness is in doubt! Perchance she is from the West. She alone has the seemingly elusive answers to the numerous questions about her tribal identity. Yes, there is a very glaring divide between the NAME and the NAMED in Lauretta's case. Her Christian name is too refined in meaning for the filth that emanates from her. She is too satanic in her ways to be a Christian; she is too uncircumcised, uncouth, primitive, and savagery to be categorised as an Igbo. Her debased pronouncements and unwomanly conducts confirm that the Buhari-led misgoverning government lacks substance. This woman that is a quintessential bad wife and immoral mother lacks the needed ingredient to occupy any public office. It is lucid that the APC houses a panoply of never-do-wells that constitute square pegs in the round holes of FGN. Yes, as long as someone like Lauretta Onochie, a bad mother and disgrace to womanhood, and those of her ilk remain relevant to this clueless government, Nigeria will sink deeper in economic recession. How proud are Lauretta's children? Their mama wants the Hausa/Fulani to imprison the innocent Nnamdi Kanu, but she has said nothing about the destructive activities of Fulani herdsmen, violent AREWA Youths, and Boko Haram terrorists. What manner of wife and mother is she? Where was her voice when herdsmen ravaged Enugu? I guess they should not be PUT WHERE THEY BELONG AND THE KEY THROWN INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. But who locks up a person and throws the key in a river? What manner of she-devil says such? How black is Lauretta's heart? God forbid!

Lauretta wants Mazi Nnamdi Kanu locked up without a charge. She wants him locked up because he manned up to wear the very big shoes left by Ojukwu. She sees Nnamdi Kanu, the modern day BREAKER OF CHAINS, LIBERATOR OF THE OPPRESSED AND SUPPRESSED, as the enemy, as the problem. How is that even possible? What is really wrong with her psychological state? Could it be that she is a representative of the mad in government? I ask because it takes an incurably mad person to makes such misjudgment. Mazi Nnmadi Kanu is the SOLUTION, not the PROBLEM. Lauretta should try as much as possible to visit the nearest asylum for thorough psychiatric examination. Her vituperations are the rantings of a crazy fellow on the loose. Like a wild beast, I think someone like Lauretta should be tethered and watched. Seeing that her family have failed to tame her, I advise that they make another attempt at sealing her lips and getting her hands fettered. She talks like a woman on call. She misjudges like an asylum inmate. Her jealousy and baseless hatred for the saintly activities of Nnamdi Kanu will lead her to the community of still and quiet. She is dying inside when she should be jubilant. It takes the world several centuries to produce a true revolutionist. Our world has gifted us all with Director Nnamdi Kanu, the Ohamadike 1 of Biafraland. For the sake of our liberty, he submitted himself, freedom, and niceties of life to the oppressive keepers and was unjustly imprisoned for more than a year. Can this hag that calls herself Lauretta do that? As a sign that she is someone of buyable conscience, has she not become a Muslim overnight because of political appointment? Has she been able to muster the courage to condemn any of preposterous and anti-people actions of Buhari-led government? Shame on her! Why did she not learn from Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala? Is she not a living witness to the indelible footprints left by Prof. Dora Akunyili? What legacy is she going to leave behind?

Lastly, is she not too old to be playing the underdog role? Should the very young Prince Nnamdi Kanu not be the one to learn from her? But because she is a nobody, an embodiment of identity crises, a failed mother, a terrible wife, and a woman of easy virtue, she is the one envying our phenomenal freedom fighter. As days turn to weeks, weeks turn to months, and months to years, Lauretta Onochie will witness the glorious birth of Biafra. Her own generation will witness that she fights. If Buhari, the hater of Igbo, could not kill our Nnmadi Kanu is it this piece of shit? Lauretta and her likes should be wary of the beast in us. We shall continue to carry out our quest to liberate our people within the armbits of nonexistent law. Any enclave where terrorists are eulogised, but peaceful agitators are teargassed, chased, and killed is indeed lawless. Yes, a place where criminals are set free because of their tribe and religion is demonic. A nation where a sitting president distinguishes between unmathematical 97% and 5% and political appointments are done on the basis of tribe and religion is a glorified wild forest. No amount of restructuring will suffice to make Nigeria a country. It is shameful that Lauretta is too driven by crumbs to see the looming danger. Danger looms, since darker days await the inhabitants of Nigeria. Never again shall we sit and watch the oppressors breach the law. One million Laurettas cannot stop the revolutionary train. She should expect high blood pressure and possible insanity as the profile of Nnamdi Kanu soars to heights unimagined. Her trouble has just started. We are whiter than white. Nigeria’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has given reasons why the federal government failed to arrest members of a northern group that demanded Nigerians of Igbo ethnic nationality quit the region by October 1.
Mr. Malami said the failure to make arrests was to avoid jeopardising the nation’s fragile security.
Northerners, under the platform of the Arewa Consultative Forum, had issued the threat but later withdrew it while still attaching conditions.

The quit notice was widely condemned by Nigerians although a few expressed covert support.
Mr. Malami’s comment came amid criticisms over plans to rearrest the leader of the pro-Biafra group, Nnamdi Kanu.
The government says Mr. Kanu has violated his bail terms, and wants the bail revoked.
But critics accuse the government of bias, pointing at its failure to arrest members of the northern group while moving to re-arrest Mr. Kanu. Vanguard newspaper quoted Mr. Malami as defending the government’s decision on Wednesday, shortly after establishing an investigation unit in his ministry.

“Government considered the security implications on the issue. Let me state that government is alive to its responsibility and whoever is found wanting will be prosecuted,” Mr. Malami reportedly said.
He however said this Buhari administration is determined to provide good governance and promote justice, peace and fairness.
Mr. Malami said the newly formed investigation unit would “fill the vacuum created by the obvious lack of expertise in the investigation process”.

“Consequent upon want of expertise in the conduct and process of investigations by various security agencies in Nigeria and the need to address such anomalies leading to consistent rejection of vital/relevant evidence in the course of prosecution and or the writing down of the probative value of such evidence owing to inappropriate investigation, my office as a result, and in line with the constitutional powers conferred on me as the chief law officer of the federation and by virtue of section 105 (1) and (3) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, hereby deem it fit to establish an Investigation Unit within the ministry,” he said.
“This unit shall coordinate and form part of every investigation in Nigeria for robust investigation and successful prosecution of such cases,” he added.

A sane mentally stable youth who listens to the unguided speech of the doddery 70yr Old Lauretta Onochie, the Special Assistant to Nigeria President on Social Media, should pray she retires to her ancestors.
Lauretta Onochie is one of the principal reasons, Nigeria is stucked and the youths have no future.
Whenever Lauretta speaks, one can simply deduce the fact that her mouth exhumes speeches from a superannuated 70yr Old mentally derailed Brain.


It is preponderant, that i analyse the recent  pronouncements of Lauretta Onochie against the Indigenous People Of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, which has served as a typical measurement of the level of insanity she suffers from.

According to the so called  Lauretta Onochie;

(1) "Nigeria is not a Lawless Country. If anyone goes contrary to the Law, they get pulled in by the Laws they flouted".

In my previous piece, i presented the  TWO TIMES FLOUTING OF COURT RULINGS WHICH ARE IN FAVOUR OF CITIZEN NNAMDI KANU BY THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT.
On December 16, 2015 Chief Magistrate Shuaibu Usman discharged Citizen Nnamdi Kanu prior to a discontinuation of case filed by Moses Idakwo the Counsel to DSS, but it was flagrantly flouted.
Subsequently, on the 17th of December 2015, Justice Adeniyi Ademola of Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, granted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu bail, but it was conspicuously infringed.
My question to the Special Assistant to Buhari, Lauretta Onochie is; if Nigeria is not a lawless country, why then did the Nigeria government disdain those two court orders that ordered for Nnamdi Kanu's release?
Why was Buhari's government not pulled in by the Law for flouting two different court orders?

On a second note, Lauretta Onochie stated:

(2)" The Government of Buhari, unmeritoriously granted Nnamdi Kanu Bail".

It is alarming to hear that, one with presumed formal education, would say the Bail of an accused is unmeritorious,  in a Country where the constitution makes provision for Bail.
The presumption of innocence is a constitutional right of every person as provided in section 36(5) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) which states that: “Every person who is charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed to be innocent until he is proved guilty".
The Federal High Court Abuja presided by Binta Nyako, struck out six count charges out of eleven against the accused and he took a fresh plea of not guilty when the remaining charges were read out to him. How then is the granting of bail by a Court of competent jurisdiction to an accused who is not proven guilty be regarded as unmeritorious?

On another level of vituperation Lauretta Onochie said:
(3)"Kanu's followers are Touts, Hooligans and Hoodlums.
They do not have formal education and were thus incapacitated in processing information or responding civilly".

The exposure of the doddery mindset of Lauretta is very infectious and comical. It is only an educated mind, who can discern what self determination entails. The United Nations Charter is in accordance with the Right of the Indigenous People on self determination and never referred to anyone or people utilising this right, as Touts, Hooligans or Hoodlums.
That right to Self determination is what the followers of IPOB Leader are exercising, which makes them more formally educated and civilised, than the 70yr old hoodlum of Aso Rock, called Lauretta.
The Indigenous People Of Biafra, have been unarmed and nonviolent, even amidst provocation, incessant unwarranted killings and illegal detentions. The civil approach by The Indigenous People Of Biafra is beyond human comprehension, despite having the legal right to self-defense, yet there have been no trace of violence.


 It is sacrilegious that a woman, who could not keep five different Matrimonial Home, is hypocritically fighting for the unity of a heterogenouss entity that constitute over 100million People.
The best way to discern the content of the character of a Woman, is through the state of her matrimonial home, of which Lauretta Onochie's failed marriages is
a crystal indication that she is a bad Home Manager and divorcee, thus has no right to interfere into Self determination and the agitation for Biafra restoration, as it is a fight against a forced marriage.

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu yesterday rejected the plea of the governors of the Southeast zone of Nigeria during a meeting between the pro-Biafra group and the politicians. We were reliably informed by an insider that after long hours of the closed door meeting at the Enugu Government House, the governors were unable to convince Kanu to drop his agitation for Biafra.

Also, the meeting failed to stop his threat against the November 18 governorship election in Anambra state, our reporter gathered. The governors were said to have invited Kanu to discuss issues concerning the alleged violation of his bail conditions for which the Federal Government had asked an Abuja High court to issue an order to re-arrest him

''They called him and pleaded he talks to his supporters to relapse on IPOB pursuit; he brought out his phone and showed them a picture of the crowd in one of the IPOB rallies saying:

"These are the people that sent me. I didn't send myself. If you leaders genuinely love this land and her people, you will not call these people my supporters but our supporters. They are pursuing the most sacred cause in life. That is freedom!
You don't kill people who are begging for breathe and life. It is sacrilegious but you have done such.
Biafrans want freedom which is life"..

Another issue of concern to the governors was the Biafra Security Service (BSS), which Kanu reportedly inaugurated at Umuahia, Abia state, an act the police described as unlawful.

During the meeting which was attended by constitutional lawyer, Prof Ben Nwabueze and Deputy Secretary General, Igbo Leaders of Thought (ILT), Evangelist Elliot Uko, Kanu was said to have remained adamant on restoration of Biafra.
“They begged him to drop Biafra agitation but he shook his head. That’s why they decided to have further discussions with him and his group,” the insider said.

But Ebonyi State Governor and Chairman of the Southeast Governors Forum, Dave Umahi had assured that the governors would continue to have further dialogue with the leadership of IPOB.

At the meeting were Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Deputy Governor of Anambra state, Dr Nkem Okeke. Governors Rochas Okorocha (Imo) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) were said to be out of the country.

Following the Nnamdi Kanu/IPOB led total dismantling of the slavery imposed on Biafrans by Britain in collaboration with the Hausa/Fulani in the name of one Nigeria, and the relentless efforts for the restoration of the kingdom of Chukwu Okike Abiama(GOD) on earth (BIAFRA), many have been ranting unnecessarily, asking why the Biafra call has to be now.

Before I forge ahead, it will interest me to let all and sundry know that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his sparkling IPOB is the sun that shone at the right time. Just like an English man says, 'there is no good time that is late'. Therefore, some may not understand what this divine course is all about. Those who are beginning to question or have so many speculations in this divine project should bear this in mind. Questioning why the total dismantling of the unholy union called Nigeria and the absolute restoration of the nation of Biafra, is like asking God why he created his people and made them to live on the surface of the earth.

Come to think of it, between Biafra and Nigeria, which one is an organic creation? Nigeria as an entity of fraud, was forcefully created by a British called Lord Frederick Lugard and Flora Shaw his wife in the year 1914 without proper consultations. While Biafra/Biafrans as an organic creation created by God has been in existence and recognition for thousands of years recorded with all the dominant tribes traced to be Jewish by ancestral linking. It will also be very educative to remind humanity that what makes up one people is far beyond geographical creation or political space, but strictly people's ideological resemblance, cultural similarities, traditional heritage and other numerous ways of life that constitute their DNA. In the case of Biafra and Nigeria, there is none of all that can be considered as one with each other and hence it is like wild animals living with humans. And that is why Biafrans and the so called Nigerians can never in any way be one  whatsoever. Take for instance, in the Northern part of today's Nigeria, the people living there are predominantly Muslims , who do not believe in dialogue. They hate civilization in the sense that whenever they see anyone of a civilized nature, they will rather choose to broadly brutalize the person than to welcome  such, while we Biafrans are even civilized in nature. Our genes constitute natural freedom and impartial justice. Facts can testify that since the creation of the fraudulent One Nigeria, Biafrans have never been in support of it. They frankly know the huge differences between Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba and us (Biafrans). And that was the reason why we earlier resisted the colonial masters in the 1800s in a bid, to  escape that atrocious barbarism they called colonization/amalgamation. The British who were the colonialists handed us over to the Hausa/Fulani who are naturally  blood thirsty of which Biafrans have been murdered in millions for no just cause by these Hausa/Fulani's who believe that Nigeria is their estate even .

That brutality never stopped and can never stop because, killing and bloodshed is in their DNA . Islamic religion which they adopted long ago by their forefathers has never taught  dialogue other than violence. If we stay at home they kill us, if we travel to other parts of the country they massacre  millions of us. Even in our worship places, they destroy, kill and litter the dead in the streets. We do not  have freedom of worship in our land any longer or do we talk of political rights?

We have been deprived of our political rights. How long would any sane person thinks we are going to endure, watch our men and women being brutalized? Can anyone really endure all these for long  seeing his or her mother  raped in broad day light?. We do not need to force anyone to believe that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his led IPOB as a relentless freedom fighter, fighting for the absolute restoration of their ancient kingdom, the kingdom of of Almighty God - BIAFRA  is “the Sun that has risen at the right time.” We have vividly stated it time without number that it is either Biafra or we die getting it.

It is important to state here emphatically that I do not subscribe to the so-called Restructuring of Nigeria campaign, though the Senate's action on it is quite commendable.

The Nigerian Senate reportedly made amendments on parts of the 1999 constitution. There were various  obnoxious laws that where rectified in some sections of the constitution which the Senate could objectively be given some credits for. This however may in the long run, due to the undemocratic and vampiric nature of the Nigerian state, attract pockets of national unrest.

Firstly, the law enacted by the National Assembly which seems to have truncated the  re-contestation bid of Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan
as a President is not just only offensive but wicked. It was borne out of evil ploy of the Northern oligarchy to monopolise power at the expense of other sections of the country. Though the former President may not have even nursed the desire to be actively be involved in partisan politics but the so-called "South-South region has aptly decoded the implications of such a move and no doubt, this could invariably lead to protests, thereby galvanising the Biafra restoration struggle.

The Senate's rejection of Nigeria restructuring is assumably the highest win for Biafra agitators at this stage of the struggle. It is definitely a good step towards the restoration of the sovereignty of the Biafra nation. It does not only seem to justify the actions of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, but it further rubbishes the antics of the doubters and their cronies like Ohaneze Ndigbo fellow travellers. Added to the list are the South-East Governors who have remained imbecilic, toothless and brainless. They lack moral justification to be addressed as Igbo elites or leaders.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's stance on Biafra Referendum as against Nigeria Restructuring has very clearly shown why he is a visionary leader. He has inadvertently quashed the desires and antics of the crusaders of restructuring.

The decision by some of the Senators who stood opposed to restructuring, serves as an added impetus to the struggle and an opener to both the South-East, it's eadership and also to the Niger Deltans, the Afeniferes, the Middle Belters and of course, all stakeholders and front runners in the campaign for the delusional restructuring agenda. It is now clear that the political power holders by every indication, are not willing and ready to relinquish power. The Biafra agitation is not egocentrically motivated but propelled by a burning desire for a total and full liberation of all Biafrans from slavery, neocolonialism and lurgardian bondage. Every policy by the Nigerian government in a bid to frustrate the Biafra Restoration Project appears irrevocably helping to fast track the cause. With other ethnic nationalities and especially some prominent Northerners believing that restructuring is the only solution to stem the disintegration being rejected, is a realistic confirmation that Nigeria is  grossly at the cross roads. This Senate decision of "No to Restructuring", may undoubtedly be the catalyse required in authenticating the prophecy of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that Biafra will come as a surprise.

We thank Chukwuokike Abiama (Almighty God) therefore, for His eternal wisdom as we fully anticipate with joy, the fulfillment of His Promise to Restore our Holy and Blessed Nation of Biafra.

There has been furnace on the Nigerian seat of power more especially, since the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his ever formidable Indigenous People Of Biafra {IPOB},Who have been on the track, excising their right to self determination peacefully just as the Uinted Nations' charter on self determination and the indeginous people's rights permits.

However, the agitation for Biafra independence escalated immediately after President Mohammadu Buhari's led APC regime ascended to the highest political office in Nigeria, amid his dictatorial approach and failure to handle the legitimate agitation democratically, which led to the illegal arrest and unlawful detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for roughly two years without trial.

Not minding the secret abduction and unlawful incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the amiable leader of the people, there were serious human rights violation metted on unarmed Biafrans who could not bear the pain of seeing their leader, the orator, the savior of their {our} time to go the way of the likes of late Ken. Sarowiwa, Bola Igeh, M.K Abiola, Gen. Aguyi Ironsi of the blessed memories, who were brutally and unjustifiably murdered by the Nigerian power tusslers from the North, just because they were fighting for justice, equity and fair play among the Nigerian people, came out in millions to protest in the streets and demand his unconditional release. Thousands of peaceful unarmed Biafra protesters were openly shot at and gruesomely killed in  Anambra, Aba, Igweocha {Porth hacorth}, Delta state and many other parts of Biafraland for no justifiable reason, other than the fact that they were protesting for the release of their indefatigable leader as several courts of competent jurisdiction ordered, yet the Nigerian government and her DSS flaunted those court orders with impunity. After the mindless shooting to death of the unarmed Biafra protesters, about hundred were abducted and imprisoned without trial, while those that escaped the genocidal shooting were hospitalized with different degrees of life threatening gun shot injuries. Even till now there seems to be no slowing down on the secret abduction of Biafrans by the Nigerian security forces.

Due to the high level of injustice, tyrannical violation of laws and court orders by president Mohammadu Buhari led executive government, which was a direct contradiction to the fraudulent Nigerian constitution that he swore an oath to uphold and protect, many judges who could not dance to the evil tune of miscarriage of justice washed their hands off Kanu's seemingly unending case with the Nigerian government.

After a long legal battle with never say die and relentless spirit of IPOB and Biafrans in general, who stood their ground that the Nigerian government must obey court orders, the Nigerian federal high court four{4} situated in Abuja the capital city of this Lugardian edifice ,which is presided over by an Hausa/Fulani woman, a judge who severally somersaulted and twisted the judicial principles during the course of hearing Kanu's bail application, managed to grant him bail on health condition but not without the most stringent, inhumane, overlashing and unconstitutional bail conditions.

Before I go further, I would like to bring to the consciousness of my audience what bail is all about. Bail is the right of any accused person who is facing trial in order for him or her prepare very well for the case that awaits him or her and  for the benefit of doubt that he or she must be present in the court all through the period of his or her trial unless, if there is a critical issues that befalls him or her which borders mostly, in some cases severe health condition. Without being bias, it will be a breach or violation of anyone's fundamental human rights to face the kind of bail conditions given to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is a political prisoner. Therefore, any bail condition(s) that violates the fundamental human rights of any person is in itself illegal, inhumane and must be challenged legally.

UN-ARRESTABLE AREWA INDIGENS:

In the  Nigerian 1999 constitution as amended states that the constitution is a no respecter of persons and in that case, every Nigerian citizen is equal before the law including the president who is the number one citizen. But 6th of June 2017, marked the day the Nigerian state became a full-fledged animal farm where all aninals(citizens) are not equal. It is on record today that on the 6th of June 2017, the Northern youths under the aegis of Arewa youth forum, issued a violent and genocidal quit notice ultimatum calling for mass killing of Biafrans resident in Northern Nigeria failing to vacate their land on or before 1st October. What surprised many was that the declaration of the quit notice was made openly in Arewa house, in Kaduna State which can only be done with the permission of the Kaduna State government in collaboration with Northern or Arewa elders. The declaration according to the quotations of the constitution of Nigeria, is more treasonable than what Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's self determination was tagged and what he was accused of by Mohammadu Buhari and his Gestapo DSS which made people including the governor of Kaduna state, Mr. Nasiru El-rufai to demand the Inspector General(IG) of police to arrest all the perpetrators and participants of that declaration and charge them to court but was not carried out due to sectional and tribalistic politics being played out in Nigeria owned by Northern cabals. And just recently, the Attorney General of the Nigerian federation, Mallami (SAN) has given reasons why the call for the arrest of those treasonous fellows is dead on arrival.

There is a saying that, you will not beat a child and as well deny him of crying. A situation whereby some people will be recognized  as untouchable citizens while others are relegated to slavery is not only unacceptable but barbaric and must be questioned by people of good conscience. And for the fact that even the indigenous Arewa people up North, who have since 1960s regarded themselves as the rightful owners (born to rule) of the British concocted Nigeria is not my worry, what is worrisome is that, they have as well refused to know and appreciate that what is good for the goose is also good for the ganders, hence their belief that Nigeria is entirely their forefathers estate which nobody have the right to govern except those from their enclave. Such mentality is timid, uncivilized, old fashioned and is not obtainable in any part of civilized world.

The hypocrisy of the Nigerian people is unfathomable in the sense that, people from Northern Nigeria acknowledges themselves as Arewa nation, those in the Western Nigeria sees themselves as Oduduwa  nation which they truly are, but would be raged when the indegines of Eastern Nigeria addresses themselves as Biafrans. However, other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria would rather prefer the Easterners to go by the politically motivated name South-East and South-South or even Niger Delta, which undoubtedly is an alien name considering what their name were before the evil amalgamation that forced three divergently opposed cultures to inhabit together and that can never be seen as justice neither are Biafrans ready to accept it, after all, Biafra is an ancient nation far older than Britain that colonised and amalgamated Nigeria inorganically by force. Therefore, until the Arewa youths that made the infamous Kaduna declaration are arrested and prosecuted, the recent call for the revoke and re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu by the Attorney General of the federation who circumvented the constitution and the call for the arrest of those terrorist Arewa youths, is dead on arrival, hence he should not go against his oath of office with his prejudicial statements against Nnamdi Kanu not minding that the case is still in court.

THE ALREADY DIVIDED NIGERIA BY THE AREWA NATION:

Before I cap it up, it could be recalled that after the 1914 amalgamation of Nigeria, it was the Arewa North that sowed the seed of secession in Nigeria. This can be seen in a situation when they found out that the amalgamation was no longer on their favour hence, they led a protest and started shouting " araba araba" which simply means "secession". They were brought back and cajoled into the fraudulent One Nigeria with the British colonialists gifting Nigerian seat of power to them, thereby making other ethnic nationalities to be living at their mercy till date. Fast forward the happenings to this day and you will be marvelled with the fact that nothing has changed and that Nigeria has remained stagnant in the hands of the cabalistic Northernised Nigerian state.

However, it will interest me to ask those of you who are always of the opinion that God created the expired 1914 amalgamated Nigeria the following questions:

1. If it were God that created Nigeria, what then was amalgamated in 1914 and what brought about the name Nigeria after the amalgamation?


2. If truly God created Nigeria, who then did the Nigerian founding- fathers fought ( not gun battle) to gain independence in 1960?

3. If Nigeria is indivisible, why are there Arewa in the North with their private security apparatus like Hisbah sharia police and an operational sharia law in almost all Northern states instead of the generally accepted common law, while Oduduwa in the West has OPC as their security apparatus?

4. If Nigeria is actually one as the North is claiming, why did the Arewa youths gave their fellow citizens resident in the North quit notice to vacate their land while saying that the North belongs to them?

5. What would Nigeria be called when it operates a sectional and quoter system of government?

The earlier we all accept the reality that there is nothing that is holding Nigeria together other than the fact that it is the North against other regions in Nigeria the better for all that inhabits the Lugardian cage that is sitting on gun powder which will soon explode or allow any ethnic nationality that have rejected the oppressive state to be on their own and establish their own sovereign nation in peace.

However, Family Writers press is using this medium to join other groups in condemning the call of the Nigerian government through the office of Attorney General of the Nigerian federation for the revoking and rearrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra. We are hereby advising the Nigerian government, who has dimmed it unfit to arrest Fulani herdsmen that is a confirmed Northern terrorists and their treasonous Arewa youths that issued genocidal quit notice to Biafrans to henceforth, discontinue the illegitimate call for the rearrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because they lack the moral right to make such call. They should as a matter of peace stop the open threat and secret abduction of innocent  Biafrans. The Nigerian government should stop her fragrant disobedience to legitimate court rulings ordering the unconditional release of citizen Benjamin Madubugwu, Bright Chimezie Ishinwa, David Nwawuisi and other Biafrans unlawfully incarcerated without trial.

The Nigerian government should as a matter of urgency, apply a democratic means of dialogue to engage IPOB through her leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and in furtherance map out modalities for a well internationally recognised and monitored referendum for Biafrans to decide their fate in the unholy union called Nigeria now or risk the impending doom that will befall Nigeria if they continue with their undemocratic way of tackling issues in a democratic dispensation

Finally, in continuation of IPOB democratic way of self determination through civil disobedience which will ostensibly lead to referendum vote, Family Writers Press is urging all Biafrans in Anambra state to comply to the election boycott directive given by IPOB leadership as a medium of showing total rejection of the oppressive Nigerian state. In other words, there will be election boycott in Anambra state come 18th November, 2017, (where Biafrand are meant to sit at home) and subsequently the entirety of Biafraland until date for referendum is given by the Nigerian government.

As Biafra agitation and calls for Biafra referendum gathers momentum everyday and being discussed everywhere in the world, instead of Nigeria government to toe the path of peaceful resolution of the lingering issue by organizing a referendum for Biafra, it is rather threatening the agitators with fire and brimstone as against the modern world of civilization. Nigeria government was rather using the final phase of its propaganda on IPOB by describing the people as terrorists whereas IPOB has never killed even a fly in the journey of the struggle. Nigeria government has declared a sectional war against the people of Biafra by ordering her armed forces (Army, Airforce, Navy and Police) to crush members of IPOB and their suppoters anywhere they are sighted within and outside Biafraland.

It is upon this looming genocide targeted on Biafrans by Nigeria government that Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the supreme command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to as a matter of urgency bring it to the notice of International Community that Nigeria government has decided to resume in the senseless massacre of Biafrans as contained in the Buhari's matching order to the armed forces. It is time for the world to break silence on the matter concerning the call for Biafra referendum so that to avoid the pending massacre of Biafrans which is the next step of Nigeria government in a time when the world is ernestly expecting her to announce the long awaited date for Biafra referendum. IPOB is making the United Nations, European Union, Africa Union, ECOWAS and influential government of nations in the world to understand that it is better to compel Nigeria government to organize Biafra referendum now when the tension is high in Nigeria than risking the lives of your staff and relief workers while sending them to IDPs in Nigeria should arm conflict results in the Biafra agitation due to deafening silence of International Community at the moment. The world has kept mute for too long over the issue of Biafra referendum and that is aiding Nigeria government in committing all sorts of crime and human right abuse against Biafrans in the face of the agitation.

It is time to invite all the both local and international human right organizations all over the world such as Amnesty International and Intersociety to be on ground anywhere IPOB conduct its referendum rallies in Biafraland and mount an eagle-eye guards so that to tell world what Nigeria Army, Air-force, Navy and Police will begin to do against unarmed Biafran.  Let no organization depend on Nigeria media for update on what is going on in because Nigeria government has declared an open war against IPOB with a strict order that no media outlet in Nigeria will report anything about Biafra any more.

However, IPOB is making the world to know that no amount of threats and propaganda from Nigeria government or any organization which it sponsored to do so can make IPOB to drop the vehement resolve that Biafra referendum must be conducted as soon as possible. Biafrans have unanimously resolved that if Nigeria government fail to organize Biafra referendum from now to October 1, 2017, Nigeria government will no longer enjoy respect as a federal government anywhere in Biafraland. That is why Biafrans will no more participate in any election to be organized in Biafraland by Nigeria government. As it is at the moment, the world is expecting Nigeria government to announce date for Biafra referendum whereas Nigeria government is busy issuing useless threats against Biafrans. It is important for the world to make haste and avert the genocide which Nigeria government is planning to visit on Biafrans by compelling Nigeria government to organize referendum as soon as possible. Biafrans are not calling for war but have come in peace in their vehement resolve to restored their god-given nation of Biafra.

Should Nigeria government organize referendum for Biafra, the tension in the land will reduce to insignificance. If they vote to stay in Nigeria, so be it, but if they vote to exit with Biafra, so be it as well. I rest my case!

As concerns grow over the ongoing move by the federal authorities to re-arrest leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, groups across the geopolitical zones have described it as  a“costly mistake” and warned of dire consequences.

In a statement issued at the weekend by the Eastern Consultative Assembly (ECA) and Igbo Leaders of Thought said the federal government which has been floundering with one political mistake after the other should restrain itself from plunging the nation into more crises by angling to re-arrest the IPOB leader.

The ECA which is a coalition of several civil society groups noted in the statement signed by its secretary, Elliot Ugochukwu-Uko, who also doubles as Deputy Secretary of Igbo Leaders of Thought, said the government at the centre has continued to portray itself as “a parochial and ethnic-driven government” in its actions and policies hence the bias in handling case of IPOB and its leader.

“Any attempt to re-arrest Kanu, especially without arresting the quit notice givers, genocidal song writers and herdsmen-murderers will spell doom for Nigeria. May the world never say nobody told them. Those plotting the re-arrest of Kanu do not know how deeply divided Nigeria is at the moment. It will be a miracle if Nigeria survives this re-arrest agenda.”

“The agenda to re-arrest Kanu, agreed by the political class, sponsored by those fiercely opposed to the restructuring of Nigeria and endorsed by those who hate our people with passion, will permanently alter the Nigeria political firmament. This is probably ordained by God,” the statement said.

The group recalled that “for close to two years, the world has been regaled by series of childish mistakes by the Nigeria government, as regards to the manner the federal government has handled agitation for self-determination.”

It therefore noted: “The decision to re-arrest the most popular easterner alive today in the belief that nothing will happen, is a very costly mistake (and) there will be consequences, from which Nigeria might never recover.

“Arresting him in October 2015 was a big mistake. Denying him bail was another mistake. Executing his followers in cold blood in Aba, Onitsha, Asaba and Nkpor, a much bigger mistake. And now, re-arresting a man who commands the fanatical following of millions of angry young men will definitely spur grave surprises for us all, head or tail. Nigeria will never be the same after Kanu’s re-arrest.”

Meanwhile, groups in the Niger Delta and Middle Belt have equally voiced their opposition to the move by the federal government to re-arrest the Biafran leader, saying  the entire nation would bear the consequences of such action.

Speaking from the Niger Delta, the leader of the Afra Descendants Movement (a pan- Ijaw ethnic organisation), Jene Kalada, said any attempt to re- arrest Kanu would only exacerbate the already bad political situation in Nigeria.

Kalada who voiced the concerns of Niger groups on phone, said the federal government should know that the Niger Delta people “fully support the Biafra agitation adding that the ongoing move to re- arrest Kanu was ‘a step in the wrong direction because it negates the spirit of unity the government claims it wants to achieve.’”

He argued that re-arresting Kanu would bring no solution to the rising ethnic tensions in the country but rather  it would “postpone or even bring nearer the doom’s day,” adding that the demand for self- determination did not amount to treason.

From the Middle Belt, an activist, Dr. John Danfulani, said the consequences of re-arresting Kanu should not be taken lightly as it would definitely spell doom for the nation.

He pointed out that there was no doubt that Kanu had so far conducted his activities peacefully and had done nothing to be labelled a threat to national security “when in fact obvious threats to national security are ignored and allowed to fester.

Danfulai, who is from Southern Kaduna, warned: “I don’t see the security agents ready and capable of containing the fall out together with the Boko Haram insurgence in the North-east. So, the best is to avoid any action capable of unleashing anarchy in the land.”

 The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, the umbrella body of all youths from Ijaw land, yesterday alleged that the federal government was institutionalising double standards in the running of the nation’s affairs.

President of the group, Mr. Eric Omare, in a statement in Yenagoa, national headquarters of the IYC, specifically noted that the planned re-arrest of Kanu was not only unfair but smacks of double standards.

He argued that the federal government partiality had even become more obvious given that the Arewa youth leaders that threatened to evict Igbo people from the North were neither arrested nor firmly reprimanded.

According to the group, many Niger Delta agitators are also languishing in various jails in the country, while the Arewa youths are being feted by state governments in the North.

Also, the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has said any attempt by the federal government to re-arrest Kanu will be resisted by the people of the South-east zone.

The group described media reports credited to Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, in which he requested the Federal High Court to revoke the bail given to IPOB leader as the “height of insensitivity’ and unwarranted ‘intimidation.”

The group in a statement by its leader, Uchenna Madu and made available to journalists in Enugu yesterday, said Kanu’s non-violent activities towards Biafra actualisation and restoration have never breached, truncated or confronted the “fragile and inconsistent constitution of this federation called Nigeria.”

He said the minister’s request was born out of “mischief and ignorance,” stressing that the federal government was indirectly trying to overheat the polity.  “Even the Interior Minister, Abdurahman Dambazzu, a Fulani man defended his Hausa Fulani youths of Arewa that threatened the people of Biafra with an ultimatum of quit notice to vacate Arewa land before October 1, 2017 that the coalition of the Arewa youths were misquoted by the  media,” he noted.

Family Writers eagle-eye and Intelligence gathering team have revealed that the federal government of Nigeria through the DSS has concluded plans to assassinate Mr Aloysius Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop.

We should recall the efforts made by the federal government of Nigeria and her police commissioner in collaboration with governor Willie Obiano the incumbent governor of Anambra state, to force the public into believing that the St. Phillips Catholic Church Ozubulu terror attack was as a result of two Ozubulu sons fighting a drug war.

Something almost every reasonable men and women doubted and vehemently questioned. Even the man they accused of killing his own people has come out in the open and denied his alleged involvement in the killing of his own people. Till today he still walks free. Every thing went soar for the Nigeria police when they can not even make any arrest, nor provide the name of the other alleged party that probably sent the gun men to kill Mr Aloysius so as to substantiate their claims.

Being at the cross road, they have now perfected plan to assassinate Mr. Aloysius Ikegwuonu, as to sell and prove the information that the Ozubulu massacre was actually a drug war.

We call on Mr. Aloysius Ikegwuonu to be more careful and vigilant as his life could be in danger following our intelligence gatherings. Also we use this opportunity to call on the Nigeria government and DSS to jettison their deadly assassination plots of this innocent man.

Malaya:

During the so-called "Malayan Emergency" of 1948-1960, the British government introduced "food denial" programme called "Operation Starvation". It was aimed at starving out all those who were resisting the British looting spree of the country's treasury. Method of operation included ration deduction, puncturing of canned food materials at the time of purchases and forbidding of meals at work places. It was the British that introduced the use of herbicides in military conflict. During the Malayan Emergency, British forces extensively sprayed herbicides 2, 4, 5 trichlorophenoxy acid to drastically keep vegetational growth down and destroy food crops. They had already tried out arsenic-based preparation and sodium arsenate which were so toxic that the poisonous substances threatened local populations. They were later withdrawn. Two others -  trioxene and diesoline were brought as replacements which did not only kill crops but also made the soil grossly infertile.

The Vietnamese war was the first conflict in which military forces used herbicides and dangerous chemicals to kill on a large scale,  various agricultural crops. Hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese were swept into concentration camps by the British where they were cruelly subjected to curfews and made to labour as slaves on the plantations. Any minor infraction was often and severely punished with food reduction.

Biafra:

The Civil War of Nigeria between 1967 and 1970  was one of the most deadly war that took place in the twentieth century. Largely due to how Britain hurriedly left the country shortly after the declaration of independence in early 1960, a whole lot of problems propped up. The corrupted political system and the grossly ignorant citizens lumped together from divergent part's of the British concocted Nigeria, were a major underlying factors. For as long as any Christian, whether liberal or traditional survived, the 1968 Biafran genocide would remain memorable as one of the worst crimes in which the evil British government, for the first time in human history, was readily prepared to condone mass starvation to death, millions of Biafran citizens, as a means of implementing an aspect of her foreign policy. Photographs of the atrocities being perpetrated in Biafraland appeared in most newspapers, the general perception as conveyed  by media information was that the children were starved to death as a result of famine occasioned by the civil war. Not a single newspaper report deemed it fit and professional enough to point to the world that the death of Biafra children was an intended siege which was supported by the then British government's official opposition party and by nearly every Commonwealth correspondent at Fleet Street.

It may have been that the intelligent public accepted the sale of arms to Nigeria as a punitive measure but considered it necessary which was essential for national economic survival. The only other morbid justification which I have personally heard and advanced by ordinary people for instance, as a reason, is with "an awareness of what is happening presently with Britain,  which is that if they do not support the so-called Nigerians in their efforts to crush Biafra and extinguish as many as possible, they shall purposefully loose their investments which are variously estimated at between £100 million and £200 million.

The British supplied and armed Nigeria with mercenaries during the genocidal war all in the bid to protecting  their corporate oil interests. When it appeared so glaringly that Nigeria tended towards victory, Britain increased her supplies of arms and ammunition. Her greed to secure cheap oil saw them supporting blockades against Biafrans which resulted in countless number of people starving to death. The then British Commonwealth Minister - George Thomas stated in 1967 that the "sole immediate British interest in Nigeria was that the Nigerian economy should have to be brought back to normalcy in which our substantial trade and investment in the country could be further developed and particularly, so we could regain access to important oil installations".

Yemen:

Since 2015, Yemen has been in civil war. The fighting has divided control of the country along sectarian lines which had resulted in deaths of over 10,000 Yemenese. The conflict has gravely decimated the country's economy.

Yemen was though fragile prior to the war but her currency, industry, transport infrastructure and public services have all been virtually destroyed within two years. Millions are jobless, food and fuel prices have astronomically gone up. Estimated 17 million Yemenese or 60 percent of the country's population are presently in dire need of urgent humanitarian assistance. About 7 million are living daily in crippling starvation awaiting their deaths.


The physical destruction which Yemen suffers now has mostly been the handiwork of Saudi Arabian led evil coalition which is ably being supported, advised and aided by Britain which has solidly sided Yemen's Sunni Muslim President against the Houthis, an armed Shi'ite militia group under whose control, is the country's capital.city, Sana'a with most of the western coastal region. The British are what is being referred to today as the "Command Room" which renders advises to the Saudis on their military incursions. It comes as little surprise therefore that Yemen's farms and agricultural industry appears as sustained military targets. Yemenis are  presently starving because of this very unrelenting British acts of criminality and naked impunity.

So many atrocities are being perpetrated in Biafraland without media coverage to draw government's attention  and on most cases these atrocities are being reported with facts or truth twisted to suit some parts of the ethnic divide in Nigeria. Hausa-Fulani herdsmen masquerading as cow rearers which was rated the fourth world most dangerous terror group has been on rampage, invading farmlands in the rural communities and destroying farm products with impunity. Nimbo is a border town between Southern Nigeria and Northern Nigeria with seven villages namely; Ekwuru, Nimbo-Ngwoko, Ugwuijoro, Ebor, Enugu-Nimbo, Umuome and Ugwuachara. Sometime in April 2016, misunderstanding ensued between farmers in Nimbo and Fulani herdsmen when the herdsmen invaded their farms with cows and destroyed farm produce mercilessly. One thing led to another and a good number of Fulani herdsmen after some days invaded the village communities and embarked on a killing spree.

Many innocent citizens lost their lives while many sustained various degrees of life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. There were unwarranted and wanton destruction of properties like residential houses, cars and churches, leaving many homeless. Biafrans in Nimbo were meted with this calamitous incident with little outrage from both state and federal governments. When the news broke with death toll on the increase like fourty (40) people as reported, the state governor hurriedly went to the communities and cried wolf after which he declared three days fasting and prayers for the good people of Enugu state as they mourn their dead. Some days later, the state governor was seen having a presidential handshake with the Fulani president of Nigeria with smile on their faces.

These are people supposedly mourning their subjects that were butchered for no justifiable reason. But the most annoying part of it all was that till date non of those that perpetuated that heinous crime have been arrested or prosecuted by both the state and federal government. And my question is " Who murdered justice in Nigeria"? No justice of any sort were given to the dead and the injured. No reparation of any sort were paid to the families of the deceased. And I ask again " Who murdered justice in Nigeria"? Undoubtedly, those killers were Fulani militia who are heavily backed and sponsored by the Nigerian government with the state government as accomplice. The Fulani invaders have continued the wanton and unwarranted butchery of Biafrans and other innocent citizens with the government indirectly aiding and abetting their atrocious crimes with their conspiracy of silence.

However, just recently, on 6th of August 2017, another terror attack was unleashed on Biafrans in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra state where scores were shot at on Sunday morning during church service which led to the untimely death of not less than fifteen worshipers including men, women and children. Few hours after these innocent Biafrans were hacked to death, the governor of Anambra state issued a press statement tagging the unfortunate terror attack as being orchestrated as a result of feud between brothers from the community who were drug barons in far away South Africa. Meanwhile, the statement of the state police commissioner, as in their preliminary investigation, collaborated with the narratives of the state governor. Even in Western world with sophisticated technical investigation equipment can not be quick in drawing conclusion to an incident of such magnitude.


However, the killing of Biafrans in Ozubulu took place few weeks after the hateful song by Hausa people went viral and the singers ordered the mass killing of Biafrans because to them, Biafrans are infidel that don't deserve to live. And let me ask, since the release of that genocidal song, have those behind it been arrested and prosecuted? Is the Bishop that was accused of being the target a spirit that can not be targeted outside the church or better still be killed in his multi million mansion by setting it ablaze? Why the sporadic shooting in the church because of one man? This kind of crime is normally the making of a particular ethnic nationality in Nigeria who invaded a church and killed people on Christmas eve in their teasty for blood and to carry out their jihad. The Ozubulu massacre is synonymous to that event that took place up North that I just mentioned.

Hope the world is still taking note of the quit notice by the Arewa youth forum and the hateful song or are they feigning ignorance? The motive of Arewa youth is to instigate violence because the peaceful approach of Biafrans in their agitation is giving them( Arewa) sleepless night. The world should not take such a peaceful approach by Biafrans for granted or underestimate such approach. The human rights organisations should take necessary measures in making such that a forensic investigation is being carried out and evidence established so as to unveil the real perpetrators of the Ozubulu massacre because that unfortunate incident should not be swept under that carpet. The world bodies necessary in enforcing referendum should save humanity by urging the Nigerian government to set up modalities for a well internationally recognised and monitored referendum for Biafrans to decide their fate in the Nigerian project.
