ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT SAYS BIAFRA HEROES DAY IS ILLEGAL, OKAYS KILLING OF ACTIVISTS

ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT SAYS BIAFRA HEROES DAY IS ILLEGAL, OKAYS KILLING OF ACTIVISTS

By Paul Ihechi Alagba

The government of Anambra State led by the evil accomplice Governor Willie Obiano has lauded the Nigerian security agencies for a job well done in unleashing mayhem on Biafran activists in his State. The State government in a communique issued through the Commissioner for information and Communication Strategy Tony Nnacheta on Monday evening stated that Biafra Heroes Day gathering or celebration which was observed by millions of Biafrans in over 70 countries of the world is illegal and can never be tolerated by the state.

The statement reads-"The attention of the Anambra State government has been drawn to the illegal demonstration by a group of individuals causing anxiety at the Nkpor/Onitsha axis of the state"

"The law enforcement agencies are fully engaged of the situation and are currently working to restore normalcy and free movement for all law abiding citizens." he stated.

The State government however, did not comment on the dozens of Biafran activist that were gruesomely murdered in the state by its genocidal security agencies, hence clarifying their complicity in the heart-rending massacre.

The governor of the state and an unrepentant enemy of Biafra restoration, Willie Obiano had earlier been accused by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and several Human Rights Organizations such as INTERSOCIETY of his alliance with the terrorist Nigerian government of Muhammadu Buhari to forcefully suppress Biafra agitation in the state which include, enforced disappearance and extra-judicial killing of Biafra activists. This is in a bid to pave way for his second term bid as the state governor.

Reports also revealed that prior to the Remembrance day celebration on Monday, hundreds of Boko Haram members mostly from Northern Nigeria, disguised in army and police uniforms were flooded into the state to cause havoc and disrupt the smooth running of the supposed peaceful event. A mission which they seem to have accomplished so far, as more than 45 Biafrans have been shot dead from their sporadic and direct shootings even as hundreds of others have either sustained severe gunshot injuries or were gruesomely taken away in hilux vans to unknown destinations.

IT IS TIME TO BURY THE PEACE AND FACE THE MUSIC NIGERIA IS PLAYING

By Paul Ihechi Alagba

For Family Writers

Nobody prays for war, but as long as people like Tyrant Muhammadu Buhari remains in power, war shall forever remain inevitable on the surface of the earth because a violent fire can only be quenched with violent water.

Blood of unarmed Biafran killed by Nigerian force
It was a deafening cacophony from different sets of ammunitions controlled by the genocidal Nigerian security agencies. A mere look at the over 30 hilux vans and heavily armed military trucks parked within and around Nkpor Onitsha, Anambra state, would convince you that World War III has just been ignited. The dreadful looking military men imported into the state to create havoc and disrupt the supposed peaceful Biafra Heroes Day celebration slated to hold at Nkpor, readily positioned themselves, with their fingers clutched tightly to the trigger of their heavily loaded AK47 riffles.

As hundreds of Biafrans started gathering at Nkpor junction, the assassins in army and police uniforms pulled their triggers and the music of death started playing. The tear-gas which had already enveloped the entire vicinity couldn't even allow numerous Biafran activists to make their way out of the hunting ground as some even collapsed while the others who have already been blinded by the tear-gas mistakenly made their way to security men who were seriously engaged in the sporadic shootings and were gunned down immediately.

Tears filled my eyes as a young man who was hastily making his to where I and other lucky Biafrans hid for safety, got caught up with the sporadic shootings. The bullet penetrated through his waist as rivers of blood gushed out from his body. We rushed and picked him out from the hot scene already engulfed with pandemonium, but we couldn't save him as he died before we got to the hospital.

"We can't continue like this any longer. To hell with peaceful agitation!" Emeka, one of my fellow comrades present with me at the scene shouted in anger. Before he could finish his outburst, another vibrant activist Victor, supported him and said- "If IPOB cannot arm us, why can't they allow us to at least arm ourselves in self defence against these blood sucking demons"

Unarmed Biafrans shot and taken away by Nigerian force
"Even the international communities whom we are trying to please by being peaceful have turned a blind eyes and deaf ears to our plight."

They asked me if I have any knowledge any ammunition anywhere so that they can go out and teach the security forces a lesson of their life, but I couldn't give them any answer because I didn't have any. I was dumbfounded with rage, I knew they were right, we have endured a lot more than Job was tempted in the Bible, we have always tampered vengeance with peace yet we got paid back with violence. There is nothing that can be more provocative than the fact that they killed our heroes and also kill us for remembering and honouring them. Nobody who saw the rivers of blood from the bodies of dozens of Biafrans massacred in Onitsha would advise any Biafran to continue any form of peaceful agitation.

The IPOB leadership worldwide must sit and think over the extent of total annihilation going on in Nigeria against Biafrans as a result of our peaceful agitation. Comparing the treatment Biafrans are receiving in this contraption called Nigeria with the way everybody in Nigeria is calling for negotiation with Niger Delta Avengers, even as the Presidency is desperately begging and trying to bribe them to stop their attacks on oil pipelines, it is now certain to all and sundry that Nigeria is alien to peace and the only language it respects is violence. We have to choose between defending ourselves with any means possible or risk being exterminated from the surface of the earth. It is time we buried this peace and confront this music of death and violence Nigeria has been playing out to us starting from the days of our fathers because nobody has the monopoly of violence.

If with this peace, we all die in search of Biafra, who will inhabit the holy land when we find it?

BREAKING NEWS: HAUSA/FULANI TERRORISTS INVADE NKPOR, MANY BIAFRANS FEARD DEAD

BREAKING NEWS| HAUSA\FULANI TERRORISTS INVADE NKPOR, MANY BIAFRANS FEARD DEAD

There is brutal violence in Nkpor as Hausa/Fulani terrorists invaded the community, the community was taken unawares as sporadic gun shots were being heard everywhere. This however caused the residents to start scampering for safety. Ak47 riffles sound is being heard everywhere and people now thought it was the Nigerian soldiers on rampage as before.

Yesterday the IPOB had her remembrance day; there were sporadic gun shots which led to the death over 30 Biafrans as over 50 were arrested. The military had invaded a church and killed worshippers suspected to be pro-Biafra. While the shock of yesterday was still fresh, there is invasion of Nkpor and as the time of filing this report, number of casualties has not been attained.

Recall that rumor went round yesterday that Hausa\Fulani people were killed which was not confirmed but following BBC Hausa broadcast which allowed such unfounded news, it is likely that this is a retaliation of what the Hausa\Fulani heard. There is a scene of war and Biafrans are falling down like their lives don’t matter anymore.

HEROES’ DAY EXCLUSIVE! : REMEMBERING MONUMENT OF ASABA MASSACRE; IN PICTURE-OUR STORY

HEROES’ DAY EXCLUSIVE! |REMEMBERING MONUMENT OF ASABA MASSACRE; IN PICTURE-OUR STORY

Asaba war victims-monument, this was written on the wall of the monument, the five quarters the victims came from, boldly listed under each quarter are their names that ran into thousands.  ONAJE (UMUONAJE), AJAJI (UMUAJI) AGU (UMUAGU) UGBOMANTA, EZENEI (UMUEZNEI) UNVEILING OF ASABA MEMORIAL CENOTAPH BY HIS ROYAL MAJESTY ASAGBA PROFESSOR J.C. EDOZIEN CFR -THE ASAGBA OF ASABA ON OCTOBER 7TH 2014. With this, I was convinced we are at the right place; behold! The monument of Asaba Massacre

Asaba is the capital of Delta State, a state said to be South-South, the fraud that we have uncovered. While some say Delta is not Biafra, it was a shock that Delta State recorded the most gruesome murder in the history of mankind. Not only is Delta state the epitome of our genocide, the State produced the finest Biafran soldiers, Achuzia! Who was promoted to the rank of a Colonel and should be rightly addressed by Col. Joe Achuzia. It beats my imagination when some clueless men say Delta is not Biafra because as long as history is concerned, Biafrans across the Niger are more Biafran than all Biafrans.

We set out for Asaba in a cold weather; our focus was to get to the Asaba monument, the monument built in remembrance of Biafrans massacred. We drove and beat the traffic until we entered the way-station to the monument. “We are almost there” our handler, Bishop Uzor Chukwuma told us. We set our eyes and saw a cross in the sky and looked down to the foundation of the cross, it was a poorly built monument, just a square-form monument with its cross rose higher upon a deck. One would not wait to be told that the monument is a grave but a large one.

Names of the Asaba massacre victims on the wall of the monument
On the first phase of the monument are written names, so much which we could not count, with barbed wire poorly used as restriction. The back phase of the monument was a building’s fence that was alternatively used as restriction as well. We tried to count the names but felt it could run into thousands and delay us more; the survivor was waiting for us already and we need to keep to time for an interview to be granted to us. “Thousands were killed here; these names were only the ones we could make up” The veteran told us.

Asaba massacre monument
We were already murmuring, why such poor monument should be built for thousands of men gruesomely murdered. But at least someone built at all, “were they buried here?” we asked with sense of dissatisfaction which was un-noticed, “No?” the veteran replied us as we focused on our inspection, we needed to see every bit of it. Our heroes’ day is today and these men are worth burning candles for, we came with no candle but we came with honor.

The inspection took some time; residents were interestingly watching us, probably people always come to see or document something, our presence was not a strange one, they looked like they were accustomed to seeing people there. We needed to see where those Biafrans were buried, and so we pressed further for the place. “They only brought them out on this field and shot them here, they were not buried here” the veteran said casually and agreed to take us to the place they were buried.

We moved on and reaching a major road, they pointed at a bank building-Delta trust mortgage finance bank.  At first we were confused but they explained that the bank was built upon the grave of that thousands murdered. We expressed significant dissatisfaction this time around, this is no longer a joke, a bank to be built upon the grave men that ought to be honored and immortalized is disrespect if not sacrilege. That was the sad part; we were left with questions, why can’t those men murdered be honored? Why can’t they be remembered and their graves allowed being graves or area made a graveyard?

“They gathered men, handsome and promising young Biafrans. They gathered them on that field, and massacred them. We had gone out for the war and those of them back home was deceived into believing the ceremony to mark the end of the war was real. They all came out and some others were forced out from their homes. They shot them mercilessly, unarmed and lovely people of Biafra. They never wanted war in the first place, death chased them to their homes and they only defended themselves. By then we were in the war, when we came back, they have already been murdered and they took our women away”. The veteran told Chima Onyekachi and Ifeanyi Chijioke of family writers.
Ifeanyi Chijioke and Chima Onyekachi in front of Asaba massacre monument

He is now a Rev. simply called Rev. Patrick Emordi, they always become Pastors and Reverends, probably because of what they saw and passed through. Phyno, a popular hip-hop musician would always quote “Ifu ife anyi furu, iburu bible” if you see what they saw, you will carry a bible and turn a preacher. You would preach the miracle and goodness of God. He stood agonizingly on the field, houses built everywhere, and at least it could save him flashes of everything that transpired. The people has narrowed the field to a path way and a small square people gather and pass their evening.

“They took me from my home and brought me here, they said I should dig my grave, I did and I was next to be shot when an officer came and gave a military command that we should be spared, that we are not soldiers neither are we fighters, they have already killed thousands before an angel came and saved me” Bishop Ifeanyichukwu Azeh a survivor of the massacre told us, he looked into the sky and praised heaven. “I cannot talk today, let us keep this for another day, but let us go into my church first” we entered his Church-Living ground centre.

There was much to say but we were optimistic that the victims of Asaba massacre will duly be remembered today. Today is D- day of our heroes, they shall be remembered, and these were men that came out for the purpose of peace but saw violence that took them to their graves. As we remember them today, let it be a lesson that we may learn. Nothing from Nigeria can ever be for our own good, even when they are calling for peace, they have violence at the back of their mind. When they are calling for amnesty, they have EFFC as alternative. Even when they are calling for one Nigeria, they only want our oil. Even when they are saying South-south and southeast, they only want us to remain minorities to enable them subjugate us more and more.

HEROES’ DAY UPDATE: BUHARI’S MILITARY AND BIAFRANS IN SHOW OF DETERMINATION

HEROES’ DAY UPDATE: BUHARI’S MILITARY AND BIAFRANS IN SHOW OF DETERMINATION

Biafran heroes’ day is mustering as Biafrans are determined to surmount or defy the heavy military presence in Onitsha, Nkpor precisely. Last year Nnamdi Kanu had announced that this year’s heroes’ day would take place in Nkpor, this prompted the Nigerian military to shift all her military to the town of Nkpor. While this is the case, Biafrans are determined to make sure that the heroes’ day is observed without obstruction.

When Chima Onyekachi and Ifeanyi Chijioke of Family writers toured Nkpor, heavily armed soldiers were seen everywhere as stop and search is being conducted, while people perceived to have come for the heroes’ day are molested. Speaking to one of the victims, he narrated his ordeal “I was coming for the heroes’ day when they held me but I had to lie that I am living around here before they freed me. I am motivated the more because I am here to respect our fallen heroes, nothing much if I become a hero this day” he said with bravery.

There is significant movement in Onitsha as Biafrans are fearless, heading to the venue of the meeting or waiting for announcement. “We have not been communicated the venue of the meeting. We are just walking to Nkpor and maybe we will know when we get there” one Onyeka said as he jubilantly waved Biafran flag.

Meanwhile, all markets are permanently shut down in solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu, the normal busy roads of Onitsha are lonely and everybody headed for Nkpor, Meanwhile Information reaching us says Nigeria army in an effort to disrupt today gathering has opened fire around nkpor axis. Many where been hit by ttray bullets, why one person confirmed dead. However the wounded has been moved undisclosed hospital.

The bottom line remains the status quo- that despite the heavy presence and incarceration by the combined forces of Buhari, Biafra shall observe her heroes’ day. This becomes a show of determination as Biafrans are clustering and the military posing like there is a war in Onitsha. Shamelessly, they have found strength in unarmed people of Biafra and die disgracefully in the hands of armed militants.

FAMILY WRITERS VISIT TO 'GENERAL PHILLIP EFFIONGS FAMILY AND TOMB':

PHILLIP EFFIONG: FAMILY WRITERS VISIT TO 'GENERAL PHILLIP EFFIONGS FAMILY AND TOMB':

As Biafra Heroes Day is fast approaching, the Indigenous People Of Biafra are whole heartedly awaiting May 30th to honour the Biafra Veterans and Heroes past. IBEH GIFT AMARACHI of FAMILY WRITERS made her way to IKOT-AKPAN OBONG IN IBIONO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF AKWA-IBOM STATE, to visit the 'Family and Tomb' Of Late General Philip Effiong who resumed office as the Second in Command Of Biafra,on 30 May 1967 during the Nigeria-Biafra War and lasted in office as the Vice President of Biafra until 8th January 1970,when he became Head Of State Of Biafra.

Reporting by IBEH GIFT AMARACHI OF FAMILY WRITERS from IKOT-AKPAN OBONG IN IBIONO IBOM LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF AKWA-IBOM STATE; as May 30th 2016 the Biafran Heroes day which is also the 50th anniversary is drawing near, the memories of our Biafran Heroes past got so refreshed in my memory like an open fresh wound. While pondering on our Heroes past, the thoughts of the Biafran veteran Late General Phillip Effiong who was born on the 18th November 1925 and died on 6th November 2003 at the age of 78, struck my heart. And i deemed it fit to visit his Family in his hometown Ikot-Akpan Obong In Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area and also his Tomb built just a kilometre away from his home.

One of the motivating thought of interest about General Phillip Effiong,is the fact that, he is from Akwa-Ibom State, thus is a none-Igbo Speaking Biafran. His gallantness and dedication to free Biafrans from Britain and their creation Nigeria prove that the Biafra struggle is not an Igbo quest. It further exposes the fact that, the creation of South-South, is just a divide and Rule tactics masterminded by Britain and executed by the Politicians of the Northern Protectorate.

While moving down to the Late General Phillip Effiongs hometown and the Driver was about taking a sharp turn towards the route to his hometown, which is just a Three minutes drive from the turning point, something captured my eyes and I deemed it fit to demand that the driver should stop at the spot. What I saw exposed a lot, on the way the Hausa/Fulani people have invaded Biafra Land and as well steal the natural resources from BiafraLand. I saw Tanks, Drums and Cans filled with Palm Oil, obviously meant for export. And then when I looked further I saw young men pouring palm oil in the Cans. What was more surprising is the fact that, they are all Hausa/Fulani Men who spoke in their languages, exporting palm oil produced in Akwa-Ibom State. Then a lot of questions went through my mind. WHY IS HAUSA/FULANI SO MUCH INTERESTED IN THE NATURAL RESOURCES IN BIAFRALAND? HOW CAN THEY COME INTO AKWA-IBOM TO BOLDLY EXPORT PALM OIL, THEREBY MAKING IT UNAVAILABLE AND EXPENSIVE FOR THE OWNERS? PALM OIL PRODUCTION IS ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO CREATE EMPLOYMENT FOR BIAFRA YOUTHS, WHY THEN ARE HAUSA/FULANI INCHARGE OF THE EXPORTATION OF THE PALM OIL PRODUCED IN AKWA-IBOM STATE?
After taking records of such obvious subjugating act of the Hausa/Fulani's, which is presently carried out just a stone throw away from Late General Phillip Effiongs Home town,we then proceeded to his hometown.

His biological children are based abroad,as living outside the artificial creation called Nigeria, is safer. But, the present most Eldest of the Effiong's Family and his other extended Family members, are still struggling to survive in the village.
To be candid I was actually expecting to see a very standard erupted Building owned by our Veteran, but on the contrary such was not seen. Late General Phillip Effiong have a very large extended Family, but they are obviously suffering from hardship as a result of total neglect by the Nigeria Government, as passionate hatred has been extended to his Family, since anyone who strongly believes in the Sovereignty of Biafra is considered an enemy to the Nigeria Government.
It was indeed a surprise visit to the Family, as they expressed huge surprise and excitement knowing that they are still remembered by Biafrans. They stated they have been abandoned by the Nigeria Government ever since the Nigeria-Biafra War ended in 1970.

Mr Uwem Asuquo Ekanem Effiong, the Brother and currently the Eldest of Late General Phillip Effiongs Family who was with Phillip Effiongs Father at Ikot-Ekpene in Akwa-Ibom State during the Nigeria-Biafra war in 1967-1970,in the interview he granted me, expressed his negative feelings over the neglect and total disdain by the Nigeria Government. In his words; “NIGERIA GOVERNMENT HAVE SHOWN PASSIONATE HATRED TOWARDS THIS FAMILY. THEY HAVE NEGLECTED US, TO TELL YOU WE ARE INDEED SUFFERING. THAT IS WHY MY BROTHER'S CHILDREN, PREFERS LIVING ABROAD, LATE PHILLIP EFFIONG WAS A GREAT MAN, WHO GAVE HIS ALL FOR HIS PEOPLE. AS A MATTER OF FACT, HE DID NOT ERUPT A BUILDING HERE. THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT HAS SHOWN HUGE HATRED TOWARDS US. INFACT, THIS ONE NIGERIA IDEA IS NOT WORKING".

Seeing the state of the Great Biafra Veterans Family, it became more factual that the Nigeria Government have intense hatred towards Biafrans. But,this is totally on the contrary when it comes to the Nigeria Soldiers who committed genocide against Biafrans during the war. General Gowon the Chief Genocidist who led the war against Biafrans,is living in his mansions worth billions of Naira. General Obasanjo the Former President Of Nigeria,Muhammadu Buhari the current President of Nigeria and a host of others, are comfortably living luxurious life, from Money stolen from BiafraLand, which can cause tsunami if mentioned and transfers it to Britain that operates Nigeria Looting Banks, where the stolen Money are kept for the development of Britain.

Late General Phillip Effiong gave his all, to Biafrans during the War. In 1996, General Phillip Effiong stated; "I Have No Regrets Whatsoever Of My Involvement In Biafra Or The Role I Played. The War Deprived Me Of My Property, Dignity And Name. Yet,I Have Saved So Many Souls".
As Nigeria Government pretentiously preach 'One Nigeria’, passionate hatred has been extended not only to the Biafra veterans, but their Children and even the unborn. It is of great importance and necessity to state that, not only the Famiy of Late General Phillip Effiong is been neglected, other Biafran war veterans are suffering from same neglect.
Nigeria a country where Unity is pretentiously preached is obviously not practicing what she preaches. Based on this visit, I ran into conclusion that, the so called One Nigeria Is a mirage. The Nations forced into Nigeria according to Federick Lugard her creator, is incompatible. The South and North are indeed, like Oil and Water that can’t mix up. No matter the act of pretence, it is obviously not working, hence the forced Nations in it, should be allowed to go their separate ways, since every Indigenous People have the right to Self-Determination.

After the interview, I moved down to his Tomb. Late General Phillip Effiong died on the 6th of November 2003. While I was working to the Graveside of the Great Legend Phillip Effiong, I felt Greatness hovering around there. He was buried at Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area Secretariat. Indeed the Great General Phillip Effiong, will not be forgotten by Biafrans and as Biafrans commemorates the Heroes day, we duff our hat in respect to this Great veteran.

TO NIGER DELTA MILITANTS: THERE IS PRIDE IN THIS WAR AND BIGGER SHAME IN DEFEAT.

TO NIGER DELTA MILITANTS: THERE IS PRIDE IN THIS WAR AND BIGGER SHAME IN DEFEAT.

By Ifeanyi Chijioke

For Family Writers

This is my first time of writing a letter to you warriors, I have not come to fulfill all righteousness but to rightly and logically bring to a definite end that the war you engage is a very sensitive one. This era of pipeline destruction is not like the previous one that has no moral ground, this is a war that will define our region and everything we are. The era of MEND has come and gone, they were fighting for a peanut, demanding money and resource control and when amnesty came, and their peanut was served our inheritance was allowed to go up at our detriment. Today you demand for moral and prestigious things unlike the era hungry men fought for money.

Today, a more refined and focused brave men have come out to right some wrongs; I read the demands as listed, I must commend you and there is indeed a value. This war is not about peanut or amnesty or settlement for the thieves to go on stealing our resources that left our land in decay. The demands are king’s demands, an honorable and a noble one, a list not made by hungry men but warriors and men indeed fighting to be free. That list made you men conscious of our state and not men conscious of money. For that list, you have won the heart of the people and we everyday go on our knees that Chiukwuokikeabiama may protect and give you the hand of David.

I want to start from where it matters, when our father and brother assumed power as the President of Nigeria, one man said he would make Nigeria ungovernable for him. After this comment, Boko haram came and sustained attack on Jonathan’s government and pulled his government down. They made the promise and gave Islamic state as a condition, such condition that is not fair unlike the fair and just conditions you made. They destroyed Jonathan and their leaders firmly backed them up; they have been hunting Jonathan and still hunting him till date. These people take us for a ride and they believe money can buy every Biafran. You have to prove them wrong this time, there are conditions listed that must be met before the agitation stops. That you must stand on and that is where it ends, I am not positing for all demands but priority ones. If uneducated almajiris’ can set a target and achieve it, then we educated able-bodied men can achieve 200% our goal. The goal today is get it right or we destroy this contraption called Nigeria.

Some men have come out from their hiding places, even those fools that never supported our own brother while in Office. As hopeless and shameless as MEND, they call their own corrupt administration without knowing Obasanjo was corrupt, Yaradua was corrupt, Babangida was corrupt, Buhari was corrupt and still corrupt. They are glutton, either seeking favor or seeking for money. Those that call themselves elders have also come in to say review the amnesty program, men that never put pride before money. You must significantly abhor such men and people that do not know there is pride in being a militant of today. Amnesty or no amnesty, you are not hungry men but noble men that want justice and what a shame demands are not met and warriors were mentally or physically defeated. Don’t bother about Joe Igbokwe, I will literary kill that man personally, he is a hermit, living in Lagos and so want our inheritance to go Lagos where he has a significant share. He won’t eat this time around, he would soon beg when no oil will flow up there. They said Lagos is now oil producing state, don’t worry, I will tell you more in my next column on that. Why cry instead of drill the so-called oil in Lagos state and leave our land?

This war represents the strength of our people, it is more than a war to our people, if what you demanded cannot be met, it means we have no strength, dignity or pride as a people. While they are calling for negotiation, while toothless MEND is ranting and while shameless saboteurs are blabbing, you must sustain this war until demands are met. What negotiation are they asking for when list of demand is very open; they should start acting on the list and shun any negotiation whatsoever. There is pride in this war and there is bigger shame if you retreat or get defeated. I am very much convinced they cannot defeat you and I have boasted as much. Each and every day we boast with bloodless you as they boast with bloodletting Boko haram. Did they not stage Chibok kidnap and promoted BRINGBACKOURGIRLS simply to destroy our brother? We won’t stage any kidnap, we won’t destroy lives but we will keep destroying Nigeria until justice is done. Why did you choose ‘AVENGERS’ you are indeed avenging every little thing they did and as just men, the list of demand has monopoly of justice and this is why the world is saying listen to them because they know you have a case on that demand list and your names shall go down in history and forever be celebrated if your demands pass.

Everywhere on the social media, Almajiris and others boast and say “we will crush una Niger Delta militants” and we respond “we are formidable and cannot be defeated or retreat” though this is a social media rant or trivial thing but it matters so much to us. You are warriors and if your simple demand cannot be met, what is the reason coming out in the first place? You stole our heart and gave us a thing to be proud of, that gift of pride is ‘avengers’.

You have not killed and you have not kidnapped, we are expecting human casualties very soon, if they take a Biafran life there, endeavor to take two Nigerian lives or two foreign lives Nigeria will account for. The ‘zoo’ must fall and it is already crumbling, you are not in this battle alone and you will never walk alone, until Nnamdi Kanu is released, let this war be sustained, if for nothing, let integrity and pride be considered that we may die for what we believe in.

Finally, Buhari emerged as a result of the war he executed with Boko haram and suddenly Boko haram is retreating. Their job is done and Shakua has disappeared, they labeled Jonathan clueless because he could not stop their Boko haram and Buhari will be indeed clueless because he cannot stop militants. while they are still chasing Jonathan to kill or imprison him, if we can teach them lesson with this very one, they will definitely learn to respect our people like they respect Obasanjo, Tinibu, Sheriff, Atiku, Dangoto they monopolized and all Northern thieves that cannot be touched.

They are chasing Alison Madueke, they are chasing Okonjo Iweala, they are after Jonathan and they killed Alamesieagha. They are after Biafrans, they have imprisoned Nnamdi Kanu, Ibori and ready to do more. If we succeed today on this mission, they will simply learn to fear and respect our people. You have not only freed one man, you have freed the entire Biafra land. So this is not a war for review of amnesty but a prestigious war for our soul. This is why everything must be abandoned for the goal you have set for yourselves.

BIAFRA HEROES DAY: BRUCE MAYROCK "THE HERO IN FLAMES"

BIAFRA HEROES DAY: BRUCE MAYROCK "THE HERO IN FLAMES"

By Chima Onyekachi

For Family Writers.

"PEACE IS WHERE THERE IS AN ABSENCE OF FEAR OF ANY KIND" - the inscription found on the back side of the placard Bruce Mayrock carried protesting against the 1967- 1970 Biafra Genocide in front of the United Nations Building Headquarter.

The CBS Evening News for Thursday May 29, 1969 had the headline: Columbia / Immolation, the reportage came from their studio saying " Near United Nations building, Columbia University student Bruce Mayrock sets self on fire to protest Biafra war and the genocide committed by the Nigeria side. Bruce is currently hospitalized."

"Martyr" Bruce Mayrock died shortly after midnight of May 30th,1970. He died for Biafrans who he never knew or has ever met, the pictures of Biafra genocide he had seen drove him to sacrifice his life to attract humanitarian attention but the United Nations has ignored till date. Members of his family stated that he had worked actively to protest the war in Biafra, writing letters about the war to the President and leading government figures. However according to source close to his family who spoke as thus: " People were being killed and he felt no one was doing anything. That is why he did what he did."

Bruce Mayrock, is from Westbury, New York and was born May 6, 1949,he was a student of Columbia University and twenty years of age when he burnt himself to death at the lawn of the United Nations Building Headquarter in protest against the 1967-1970 Biafra Genocide. He had a placard which front side read "YOU MUST STOP GENOCIDE! PLEASE SAVE NINE MILLION BIAFRANS."

Bruce Mayrock doused himself with a flammable liquid shortly before 3pm and set himself on fire on the lawn outside the UN building. Even when two United Nations guard spotted him on flame and chased him across the lawn with fire extinguishers, but Mayrock eluded the guards racing in front of the North lounge of the building before several hundred horrified delegates and onlookers. Mayrock finally fell to his knees and the guards extinguished the flames, then he was rushed to Belleone Hospital where he was listed in critical condition with burns over most of his body and was pronounced death nine hours after he set himself ablaze. He was buried in Mount Ararat Cemetery, Farmigdale, Suffolk county, New York.

May 30th 2016, Biafrans in Biafraland and all across the world will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Biafra Genocide. Family Writers salutes the courage of Bruce Mayrock and countless Biafrans shot dead by Nigeria armed forces in Onitsha, Aba, Ugwuocha, while protesting for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television. The prize owed Bruce Mayrock and other Biafra Heroes is the restoration of Biafra, because before their death they had demonstrated "Biafra or Death".

BIAFRA HEROES MUST BE REMEMBERED ON MAY 30TH 2016.

Annually on May 30th, in Biafraland and all across the world, Biafrans and lovers of freedom gather together to remember and honor heroes of the 1967-1970 Biafra Genocide. In agony, I watched the recent video released by the Press and Information Service of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), of true events in Biafraland in 1968. While Britain was shipping weapons to Nigeria, USA watched on and France was not bold enough to stop the atrocities and subjugation, some other parts of the world were wrongly misinformed. British Broadcasting Cooperation (BBC) did a good job for the Nigeria government during the genocide. Biafrans were been exterminated in a genocide orchestrated by Yakubu Gowon in collaboration with Ibrahim Babaginda, Olusegun Obasanjo, Sanni Abacha, Muhammadu Buhari, Obafemi Awolowo and a host of others. Houses, churches, schools, market places, vehicles and properties were purposely targeted by the Nigeria armed forces, which resulted in hardship, misery and death to most civilians in Biafraland.

Women, children and the aged in hundreds, hundreds of thousands and millions carrying along few possessions that has been saved  like pots, bowls, straw mats and few clothes, fled their homes on foot, bicycle and if lucky enough crammed into rickety lorry, in order to seek temporary refuge. Weariness, hunger and sickness became an occurrence, dead bodies of children, women, men and the aged also became a common sight, with vultures hovering around.

Refugee camps sprung up in various places but was never adequate to cater for the needs of millions of helpless Biafrans. The Nigeria armed forces purposely began to destroy farmland and farm crops to cause famine when pre-war stocks ran low. In the local market, matches were sold singly,a spoonful of salt became a luxury equivalent to gold, food was rarely seen, egg, meat and fish became inexistent, few frogs and rats were available for sale.

The Nigeria government of Yakubu Gowon in connivance with Harold Wilson of British government placed a blockade on humanitarian aid on the already bittered and distressed Biafrans. The Red Cross in collaboration with few goodwill voluntary organizations and some generous governments tried to make survival possible for Biafrans during the genocide. From Santa Isabel (now Malabo),the Island capital of Equatorial Guinea, food and medical supplies were airlifted to Biafra.

The personnel of the ICRC tour to Biafra were made up of different nationals of Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherland and Finland working together for a common cause. Dried fish, powdered milk, porridge, rice, and petroleum products were transported via aircraft, out of range and at risk of been shot down by anti-aircraft guns of the Nigeria government. In the refugee camps and hospitals, nurses and doctors of French, Yugoslav, Israeli, America and Swiss origins, battled to cater for the stream of critically ill, injured or wounded children, women and men.

The desire of Yakubu Gowon to wipe out Biafrans in three months met a strong resistance from our Heroes who sacrificed their lives for us, so we can live to continue the struggle for our freedom. When the so called "No Victor! No Vanquished!!" was declared, Late General Philip Effiong addressed gallant Biafran soldiers on the need for them to cease-fire which they did. But the vile Nigerian soldiers moved from house to house in Biafraland, killing, raping and stealing from innocent Biafrans who had returned home, still with fresh scars of the genocide. My grandfather, Late Elder Samson Ezeh was a victim,in grief my mother narrated to me how her father was wrongly accused of been a "sponsor of Biafra". She lamented that her father was wrongly fingered because of his philanthropic gestures through donations of crops to refugee camps, and the fact that his firstborn son was a Warrant Officer in the Biafra Army. My grandfather was abducted by Nigeria soldiers in his compound,he and other abducted Biafrans were forced to march from Amaracha-Acha towards Amaibo in Isuikwuato and has not been seen till date. Words filtered in that he jumped down the cliff before he could be tortured and executed, and his body was never found.

As we commemorate the 50th anniversary of our heroes of the Biafra Genocide, let us also reflect on the current subjugation of Biafrans. Since August 10,2015 over 1000 innocent Biafrans have been killed in different parts of Biafraland. They were killed because they demanded for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra/Biafra Television. Unarmed Biafran protesters were shot dead because they seek for the freedom of their fatherland - Biafra. On May 30th 2016, true Biafrans must come out in mass where ever they reside in the world, especially in Biafraland. We are not violent but coming out to remember our heroes and we will not be intimidated.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn to drown, let us assist him to drown faster. We must show fearlessness as the Avengers have shown in the creek. I warned Governor Willy Obianoi of Anambra State and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State not to allow themselves to be used as tools in the anarchy that will begin, if a shot is fired at one Biafran in Biafraland on that day.

FAMILY WRITERS is aware of various meetings the committee made up of top hierarchy of the Nigeria armed forces, appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari had with governors of South East,Ohaneze Ndigbo, Clergymen and some notable Biafrans. FAMILY WRITERS is alerting Biafrans on the combined Nigeria armed forces(Army,Airforce,Police, and DSS) of mostly Hausa/Fulani men patrolling all over Biafraland.

Do not be intimidated or afraid to honor your heroes in your fatherland. With our holy flags raised high, dressed in our beautiful attires of Biafra insignia, with chants, songs, trumpets, bands, whistles, we shall march in honor of the souls of our departed heroes. My respect and honor to every fallen Biafra hero, your prize is the restoration of Biafra. It is either Biafra or Death. .

In 1960, Nigeria gained independence from Britain. Six years later, the Hausa's in northern Nigeria began massacring the Igbos in their region, prompting tens of thousands of Igbos to flee to the east, where our people were felt safe. Thousands of Igbos was massacred and the Igbos doubted that Nigeria’s oppressive military government would allow them to develop, or even survive, so on May 30, 1967, Lieutenant Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu and other Biafran representatives of the area established the Republic of Biafra, comprising several states in Biafran land. Also other ethnic groups that constituted the republic were the Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Ejagham, Eket, Ibeno and the Ijaw among others.

Nigeria bing so cruel declared war on the republic of Biafra. After two-and-a-half years of war, 3.5 million Biafran civilians died in fighting and from starvation occasioned by the total blockade of the region by the Nigerian government. After 50years, Biafrans all around the world remember the 30th of May, as a day our beloved nation sacrificed and fought for the freedom of our people, where over 3.5million Biafran lives was massacred in the process. 50years later, Nnamdi Kanu is the symbol of Biafra. This noble and fearless leader needs no introduction.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People Biafra was unlawfully arrested on 14th of October 2015 by president Muhammdu Buhari on the account of asking for freedom for his people. Millions of Biafrans all around the world protested for the release of their beloved leader. Even the Nigeria Judiciary issued the DSS to release Nnamdi Kanu and grant him bail but president Buhari, who is widely known as a tyrant and a dictator, ordered the DSS to discard such orders, stating that the Judiciary does not have power over his government. Its over Eight months now and Nnamdi Kanu is still in prison, while over 4000 Biafran protesters have been killed in the process.

So as we celebrate our HEROES day on the 30th of May 2016, let's not forget that our leader Nnamdi Kanu is still held captive and also honour the lives of our  innocent brothers and sister who were unjustfully killed during our peaceful protest by the Nigeria Armed Forces following order from the Dictator Muhammdu Buhari.

God bless our Heroes, Bless IPOB and Bless the Republic of Biafra. ISE!!!

BUHARI MOVES TO FRAME BIAFRANS ON THEIR HEROES’ DAY

BUHARI MOVES TO FRAME BIAFRANS ON THEIR HEROES’ DAY

Killing Biafrans is one of the reasons Buhari was created in the first place, but what is certain is God will raise a standard yet against oppressors of his people for he never slumber. In 1967, Buhari commanded the soldiers that invaded Biafra through Owerri, he raped, killed and maimed innocent Biafrans and of recent, he boasted that he would kill more Biafrans if need be or to keep Nigeria one.

29th of May marks his first year in office and since his emergence, hundreds of Biafrans have lost their lives in most gruesome ways. The latest being the genocide in Aba where he ordered his soldiers to shoot unarmed peaceful Biafra protesters. He has further vowed to drown all Biafrans instead of allow referendum which has always been the lawful solution to serious self-determination quest.

While his foot soldiers-Fulani herdsmen terrorists are ravaging our land, his puppet DSS abusing the right of Nnamdi Kanu and his state soldiers attacking Biafra agitators, nothing has been done by relevant human right institutions to defend humanity.  However, instead of checking his excesses have only given him the impetus to further his crimes against humanity without recourse.

On Monday 30th May, Biafrans are warming up to remember their heroes that died on and off the battlefield and Buhari has orchestrated plans to attack the innocent Biafrans and murder them as usual. The people of Biafra have as well vowed to go on with their heroes’ day remembrance against all odds.

According a reliable source who sympathizes with Biafra, Buhari has planted men that would infiltrate the crowd. These men would arrange with the security men and cause violence and the Nigerian army would react by shooting sporadically at the people. The ‘spark plug’ is the action that would make the Nigerian forces to react and with the knowledge that Biafrans are always peaceful, Buhari has arranged his agents to play the script. In a critical condition, these his agents would even return fire to the Nigerian forces to achieve a high casualty.

Speaking to Ifeanyi Chijioke, Victor Obiesili who said he does not fear his name being mentioned confirmed the plan “The plan according to my brother in Nigerian military is to attack IPOB, Buhari loves killing the people of Biafra. My brother said that when Buhari was approached to leave the people of Biafra observe their remembrance day, he threatened that any soldier who did not obey the last order should be punished. Some soldiers are getting tired of shooting unarmed people, this has prompted Buhari to deploy core Northern soldiers” victor disclosed and added “Within the military, sympathy is rising for Biafra, my brother made it clear that soldiers are beginning to realize that there is no reason to shoot unarmed and peaceful Biafrans” he concluded.

This is now a show of fanatism or dogmatism, despite the threats so far and the heavy presence of Nigerian combined forces, the people of Biafra had vowed to go on with the heroes’ day remembrance as nothing will stop them. “Who is Buhari to stop our heroes’ day? He is not yet born” one Michael said “I am prepared for anything, the last thing is death.” He boasted and walked on.

Onitsha is already boiling and Biafrans are getting prepared for the worst, “We are getting ready for 30th May, we won’t be violent, we shall peacefully observe our remembrance day. They can deploy 40000 battalions, we are not afraid, we are fearless before our enemies, we are formidable” One hard looking young boy said, showing me a Biafra tattoo on his back.

Ese Oruru, the Biafran under-age girl who was kidnapped by Buhari's Northern kinsman- Yunusa Dahiru has put to bed a baby girl.

Ese who hails from Uhweru, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State had been under psychological rehabilitation in Yenagoa Bayelsa State since she was rescued from her radical Islamic abductors. She was delivered of her baby on Thursday evening at the Government House clinic with her baby weighing 3kg.

Ese Oruru was secretly abducted by Yunusa Dahiru in August 2015 who fled with her to his native town in Kano State where she was raped, forced into child marriage with her abductor and forcefully converted to Islam with respect to the Sharia law which is being practised in the Northern part of Nigeria.

The news of Ese Oruru's abduction was kept under the carpet for more than 5months  due to the influence of some Northern elites who had the girl in their custody, despite the fact that the Police were alerted by Ese Oruru's parents of their daughter's disappearance.

In March this year, the news broke out and sparked a powerful media and public outrage thanks to Rights activists, Family Writers and other powerful media personalities in Biafra land and across Nigeria which forced the release of Ese Oruru from the Jihadist henchmen of Northern Nigeria, although her Yunusa Dahiru had already impregnanted her.

The 14year old Ese whose mates are already celebrating their annual Children's Day today 27th of May is expected to return to school immediately after weaning her baby with the wife of Bayelsa State governor- Dr. Rachael Dickson promising that She will ensure her speedy return to school.

FEAR OF BIAFRA- BUHARI SPENDS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FUNDING HILLARY CLINTON'S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

FEAR OF BIAFRA- BUHARI SPENDS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FUNDING HILLARY CLINTON'S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

A reliable source has revealed to Family Writers that Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari in a bid to frustrate the freedom of Biafrans, has secretly spent more than $20million so far in funding the Presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton- one of the front runners of the upcoming Presidential election in the United States of America.

The source disclosed that Buhari and his cohorts have no confidence that Donald Trump-(also a major front runner for the US Presidential sit and a strong critic of Buhari's corrupt practices and dictatorial tendencies) can support the further subjugation of Biafrans in Nigeria. This has forced Buhari's desperation and extravagant expenditures in order to ensure that Obama's ally, Hillary Clinton becomes the next American President.

"There is a possibility that Biafrans may not be receiving support from America as regards to their Independence if Hillary Clinton wins the election considering the huge investment of Buhari during her campaign, as well as Buhari's close relationship with Obama." the source disclosed.

It is outrageous that while the masses are suffering in poverty Nigeria , Buhari is busy lavishing the country's treasury in his desperation to stop the unstoppable restoration of Biafra.

The Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) leadership have maintained absolute diplomacy over their preference among the Presidential candidates so far, and millions of Biafrans are hoping that America doesn't selfishly sacrifice the imminent freedom for Biafrans on the altar of preserving the never existing territorial integrity of Nigeria no matter who is elected as the next President.

The dreaded Niger Delta Avengers has once again blown up about three different pipelines belonging to Shell Petroleum Development Company(NPDC) and Nigerian Agip Oil Company(NAOC) in Nembe, Bayelsa State.

The Avengers claimed on twitter that they are responsible for the successful attack on the oil and gas pipelines which is located in Nembe, precisely on Trunk Line 1, 2 and 3 connecting from Brass to Bonny, at about 2:15am early Saturday morning.

"At about 2:15am on Saturday, The Niger Delta Avengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell" the Activists stated on their twitter timeline.

"Something big is about to happen" The Avengers threatened in addition, reiteration their vow to shock the world and cripple the economic activities of Nigeria if their demands are not met.

This recent attack is coming barely 24hrs after the group had blown up NNPC owned oil and gas Trunk Lines located in Warri, Delta State and heavily guarded by Nigerian military.

Meanwhile, in a related development, hundreds of Nigerian military have reported invaded Gbaramatu Kingdom in Bayelsa State of Biafra land in search of Government Tompolo and the members of Niger Delta Avengers. The heavily armed military men besieged Oporoza the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom at about 2am Saturday morning and started beating up the villagers including the community leader-Chief Atiti Mala, hitting them with their gun butts and ordering them to produce the ex-militant and the Avengers activists. A youth leader who spoke to Vanguard confirmed the incident saying-

"They were asking the helpless villagers to produce former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo and members of the Niger Delta Avengers."

Also an Ijaw leader, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, confirming the invasion have lambasted the Nigerian military for their attacks and inhuman treatman to the people of Gbaramatu saying-

"They have arrested many persons and villagers have fled into the bush, this is wrong, they are going to worsen issues with what they are doing. I posted on facebook that they invaded Oporoza and a military called me to tell me that they would deal with me"

"If they want to kill me, let them go ahead, but i will continue to say the truth. Why are they harassing my people? They should harass the militants whose activities we condemned" the Ijaw leader stated.

Based on the unabated killings of the Indigenous People Of Biafra by the Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari led regime, people have been pondering to know if IPOB will indeed observe the Heroes Remembrance,  Will they back off the remembrance day due to the fear of been clampdown by the Nigeria combined team of Force men? As Buhari have sworn to give his life,in other to have an undivided Nigeria, will IPOB still storm Anambra State to observe the Heroes Day?

Now before this questions will be treated i would want the World to understand this; when IPOB says "BIAFRA OR DEATH",it is quite not a slogan meant for impression or intimidation, rather an uncompromised passionate decision made by Hardcore Biafrans ready to change the tragic story of marginalisation in BiafranLand and the Nigeria-Biafra Genocide War,which took away the lives of over 3million Biafrans. The genocidal war carried out against Biafrans during the 1967-1970, inflicted an open injury in the hearts of every Biafran. May 30th is our Heroes Remembrance Day. A day Biafra Independence was declared and the Indigenous People Of Biafra massively, pay respect and tribute to our Heroes. It is our right to remember and duff our hats in respect to our Heroes past. Therefore, we must remember them and not even the Buhari led murderous regime can stop us.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra will not remain in fear over their rights. We have remained peaceful amidst provocation, yet the Nigeria Government have continued taking the pathway of carrying out mayhem against us with impunity, in a quest to stop our agitation towards the restoration of Biafra. Our Leader Citizen Nnamdi Kanu have been unlawfully detained and incarcerated despite fulfilling his bail terms in a ploy to stop the positive effect of the Biafra struggle, yet the Indigenous People Of Biafra under his leadership are still waxing stronger.

If Nigeria an amalgamated artificial and expired country which was concocted by Britain in 1914,can publicly celebrate Independence every 1st of October without disruption or clampdown, why then will such expired country stop an already existing Nation BIAFRA that have been in existence long before her? Offcourse,it is against humanity and an act of barbarism for such to be recorded in History or kept in the archives for posterity.

Therefore the Indigenous People Of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, against all odds and threats by the Nigeria Government, are very much ready to celebrate May 30th 2016,because it is cowardice to allow our Heroes die painfully and as well allow ourselves to be stopped from acknowledging their Bravery, due to the threats from their murderers. We were not trained with fear, because our Leader is a Man with a Lion heart, who remained resolute even in the enemies camp. Thus, we remain Fearless before our enemies and May 30th 2016 will be an unprecedented and historical day for IPOB,which must be observed.

NNAMDI KANU IS A TIME BOMB WAITING TO EXPLODE

NNAMDI KANU IS A TIME BOMB WAITING TO EXPLODE

By Ifeanyi Chijioke

For Family Writers

I walked into a group of young men in Asaba, the capital of Delta state, their discussion was about the abrupt judgment delivered by the appeal court. It took everyone by surprise and it was clear justice cannot be done in Nigeria. The judiciary in Nigeria has lost direction, the complexity of Nnamdi Kanu’s case is testament to the way judgment was delivered. ‘This is a complex case and I shall reserve my judgment,  the three man justice had claimed in the last hearing, and suddenly they delivered ruling without sufficient information or awareness. They are either afraid or they have been compelled to let go the case and allow Tsoho go on with the will of the Master.

Chucks Muoma the lead council to Nnamdi Kanu vividly argued ‘if flight risk is the main reason for incarcerating Nnamdi Kanu, what about the other two without British passport? Justice Tsoho of high court gave his ruling like Nnamdi Kanu is the only concern in the matter’. The argument is very sharp and fascinating. Appeal court is helpless, they decided to put Nigeria before justice, the case here is, Nnamdi Kanu has committed no crime and the courts are bias because injustice and insincerity is to be patriotic to Nigeria in this matter.

One of the young men in Asaba boldly said “Director is a bomb waiting to explode, we are waiting for them to finish and then we will start from where they stopped” one Mr Benjamin said. A fierce looking man in his 50ties, holding a copy of Vanguard newspaper. He is the main character in the discussion, telling the people how everything will go “They will never grant him bail, they won’t release Nnamdi Kanu, don’t bother your selves. They will release him by fire by force in due time” he said to attentive young men with dull faces, probably affected by the judgment delivered by appeal court.

I walked on to another young man of my age and asked “How did you see the ruling and the entire case” he was quiet at first and took a deep breath, looking with his face wrinkled and uneasy appearance. “my brother, this people will not release Nnamdi Kanu until we do something, NDA is destroying pipelines, we need to either start a protest and cripple this country to the extent she can’t work in decades to come”. He said with mourning undertone, looking helplessly to join a group with the kind of fierce discussion that will suit his state of mind.

I left Asaba in a commercial vehicle as the issue of Nnamdi Kanu was still the topic inside the bus, nobody is afraid any longer. Everybody is now a Biafran and anyone that opposes Biafra gets it hot from the people. I watched the people engage in a fierce argument, one was saying Biafra will be restored in 2017 while the other said it might take as long as Nnamdi Kanu is released and held that Buhari will never release Nnamdi Kanu. “if Nnamdi Kanu is not released, if Buhari dare imprison Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria won’t be able to contain what will come after them. People are keeping quiet because the trial is ongoing, we are expecting and waiting for his release, once that expectation is off, the bomb will explode, and the zoo will fall” a beautiful tender lady said, smiling richly.

There was laughter in the bus when ‘zoo’ was mentioned; the comic relief was a good one for me that chips in questions or comments when I want a view from them.  “That man has done nothing; the people are fanatical about Nnamdi Kanu. Again, he has a crowd that can make things move, I witnessed the protest in Onitsha, I was shocked, it never happened in Africa” a man with Yoruba accent said, “Imagine if such crowd loses hope and decides to embrace violence, Niger Delta militants will be child’s play” another man added. In the bus, it was all about Nnamdi Kanu and what would happen if Nnamdi Kanu is not released.

My journey to Asaba was called a day when my bus stopped and I alighted and headed for Onitsha post office to get a copy of Vanguard newspaper. Onitsha post office was the centre of the matter, on every news-stand is Nnamdi Kanu’s matter. “Biafra will not go into any war, even if they imprison Nnamdi Kanu, let us not embrace violence, Nnamdi Kanu can be released as the Prime minister of Biafra. He has set the platform and everything needed for us to achieve Biafra, let us go on with that and restore Biafra than embrace violence” he said as he was largely opposed by the people, an opposing shout erupted like in a parliament. “The zoo will fall, if anything happen to Nnamdi Kanu, the zoo will fall. Nnamdi Kanu has already said it, his command is the last command” an opposition said and he was cheered and supported with a loud “Yes”.

I was happy that our people are ready to sacrifice everything for Biafra, Nigeria is still playing pranks with Nnamdi Kanu. The reality we cannot deny is the fact that Nigeria is on a keg of gun powder and Nnamdi Kanu is holding the matches, he would light the gun powder and this country will explode, everybody will be affected but in the end Biafra will come. Nnamdi Kanu’s decision to peacefully go about Biafra should not be seen as weakness and justice should prevail. Nobody has monopoly of violence and injustice because anarchy is a free thing and ammunition is purchasable.

Finally as a man that spent his days in the most civilized part of the world-London, he would definitely go about restoration of Biafra in a civil manner. Meanwhile, he shall never account for any action Nigerian government will force Biafrans into due to a perceived injustice, be it civil war or civil disobedience. We have sworn with our lives to restore Biafra at all cost, and hence it is ‘Biafra or Death’.

THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE FOR UN TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST BUHARI---ROSA. I. SEGURA

THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE FOR UN TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST BUHARI---ROSA. I. SEGURA

There is no doubt that the Jews, common US citizens and all Christians feel the pain Christian-Biafrans are passing through in the hands of Islamic Nigeria. It is a huge disappointment to them that their various governments have not taken action to curb the persecution of Christian- Biafrans.

In some quarters, this inactiveness is seen as a result of economic gain and political slavery which Nigeria is being used to sustain and to avoid the emancipation of black Africa which will bring Africa equal to other continents and end political slavery. While this is being achieved at the detriment of Christian-Biafrans, some foreigners are beginning to feel for Biafrans and fighting in their own way to save the people of Biafra from continued subjugation.

One of them that have significantly beamed her light on Biafra is Rosa.I. Segura, in this interview with Ifeanyi Chijioke of Family writers, she sufficiently expressed herself and questioned the inactiveness of UN. Like the 1967 genocide and the role of the church, she has begun giving financial assistance to the victims of peaceful protesters who Nigerian government continuously attacked with live bullets.

“My name is Rosa.I. Segura but everyone calls me Rosie” she said with a remarkable but uneasy tone, like she was addressing one of the victims she had helped. She is one among millions of foreigners that have thrown their weight behind Biafrans. Some described Biafra as natural ally while some are of the view Christianity is a bond. When asked what could have led to the upsurge of support from around the world for Biafrans. “I think because more people are talking about Biafra and its struggles” many people had claimed ignorant of what Biafra was all about, but when Nnamddi Kanu told our story, they were broken and now invest to save Biafra.

To some people, there are different reasons for identifying with Biafra restoration project, the sufferings of people of Biafra have played a role, Rosie posited that she is here to see Biafra as a sovereign nation when asked why she identified with Biafra “It is to see Biafran people set free from Islamic Nigeria slavery and injustice”. She has significantly played a role in giving financial assistance to injured protesters despite the fact she is not ‘Bill gate’ and she explained the reason behind her action. , “I love Biafran people; I hate what Buhari and government officials are doing to them. I am my brothers and sisters keeper and it’s my love for them to help out in any way possible”

Buhari has continuously attacked Biafra protesters who have peacefully and lawfully engaged in activities for the restoration of Biafra. The highest was the genocide that was captured on tape in Aba and subsequent reaction of Mohammadu Buhari surprised everyone when he said his army would not tolerate Biafrans. Reacting to the question how she can describe the actions of Nigerian army under Buhari, she quickly said “Awful, I hate the way they treat Biafrans. It is unjust and animal and barbaric. They are cruel with Biafrans”. To her Nigerian government has not shown discipline and respected human right “No, not at all, it seems that they are not educated and are still living back in the 1800 and not in the 21st century”

There have been barbaric treatments meted out on Biafrans with that of Nnamdi Kanu being the signature crime. Rosie was quick to spell out the treatments she found disturbing to her   “The horrendous murder that Buhari’s forces and his brothers- Fulani herdsmen terrorists commit against Biafran people, it is heart breaking when I see the dead corpse of Biafran people!” While the crime is evident, UN has kept mute and unable to check violation of human right that is prevalence in Nigeria. Rosie wondered why UN is yet to intervene. “Being a desperate situation in Biafra is overwhelmingly disturbing to me. Yes, the videos, pictures and all the evidence of the crimes against humanity and suffering of Biafran people are there for the UN to take immediate action against president Buhari”

There have been many interpretation of Nnamdi Kanu, while some call him a Biafran god; some see him as their hero while some as an enemy. Rosie described Nnamdi Kanu as “Mr. Nnamdi Kanu is a man of integrity, a courageous man, a godly man, a man of value and a conqueror who loves his people and Nation. He is Nwa chineke!” she said with difficulty in pronunciation. While some see him as enemies, Rosie defended Nnamdi Kanu and his activities “No that is a wrong perception, on the contrary he is doing what is rightful, Self-Determination is an international right. He is taking back what is God's given right... And that is Biafra restoration as an independent Nation”

Aside her financial support, she was further asked how else she will effect Biafra restoration “. Speaking the truth of Biafra and the struggles of our Jewish Christian Biafran brothers and sisters no matter how harsh and painful it is until the whole world hears and Biafra and its people are completely free from Islamic Nigeria president Buhari and government” she further made open her wishes to Biafrans “.My dream for my Biafran brothers and sisters is to see them completely free from Islamic Nigeria president Buhari and government. I want to see them in completely peace and joy in their hearts. I want to see them in complete safety within their borders. I want them to be completely blessed and prosperous in all aspects of their lives. I want Biafra as the most beautiful, blessed, prosperous Nation not only in Africa but all around the world” she passionately said

In her own perspective, she feels that it is not only right to assist and restore Biafra or for people to start speaking out against injustice in Biafra. Reacting to question if it is right to support Biafra, she cut in “I do not only think is the right thing to do... It is an obligation from God almighty. Not helping Biafra is a curse that comes unto us Let me put it this way, God said this... Genesis 12:3 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed This alone is something to think about.”

She finally pleaded other governments of the world to respond to the plight and violation of human right in Biafra. The right to live is under serious threat for them in Nigeria, “I am telling governments to wake up. Open up their eyes and hearts to what Biafran people are going through at this moments and see that Islamic NIgerian president Buhari has started another genocide in Biafra

And stand up and support Biafra and all our Jewish Christian Biafran brothers and sisters”
